I was so pleased with my first order, I decided to give my brother a special box for a holiday gift. I requested a 12/12 arrival date giving plenty of time to fill and ship the order for our holiday zoom party. 12/12 comes and goes and there's no package. I try tracking the order, but there's no tracking information. I call the business number, but there's no live customer service. I text and email numerous times about my problem, but only got one response after 4 days asking for my email address. I did, however, get a few emails about me buying more, or that someone will get back to me soon. I have NEVER had such crap service from anyone as I have with this company! Their products are good, but not THAT good to be embarassed and totally frustrated. I finally cancelled the gift order, my upcoming shipment and my subscription service. They certainly do not deserve my business! I wonder if they even care enough to apologize?

So I ordered some a5 waygu and FedEx never delivered it. My ring doorbell got the guy ringing my door and never dropped a packaged. After multiple phone calls with Fedex with literally tears in frustration I emailed crowdcow. They were quick to reply but keep in mind they are off weekends. They handle the situation very professionally and timely. Defintely a company that cares about its customers and do business with.

Overall I had a good experience with them but I do wish they choose a better shipping carrier.

This is 3rd party shipping and it takes forever to get your order. It takes more than 1 week to ship out because they don't have the product then they would make excuses like "fedex delay". Their meats are not all that. Not worth the money

After screwing up my order I finally tried what they sent me. I had sirloin steaks and took one bit and threw them all away. They tasted Metaly/Irony. Would not recommend buying from them.

We've ordered from CC twice now & except for the Beef, it's been good. However, the Beef is the Main Reason for ordering from a mail order company at all. As with Butcher Box, we found the Sirloin & Ribeye steaks cut too thin, exceptionally chewy & rather tasteless. And they tended to fall apart in ' segments'. Didn't look like Ribeye I was accustomed to at all & sealed in with excessive moisture not dry-aged.
The hamburger patties & the salmon we ordered was very good, though expensive.
Flavor & tenderness plus cuts of beef steaks at least 1" thick that don't fall apart into 'segments' is Most important to me. I might try another mail order company in future, but I'm not sure I'll be satisfied....

Avoid Crowd Cow at all costs. The first warning sign is that there are no USDA grades for any of their beef products. They give some bs explanation that it’s more important how the cows are raised? Huh? USDA grading just rates the fat content. You can raise it organically or you can raise it on steroids. The US grader could care less. They rate the marveling. That was a warning sign that I should have heeded.

I ordered a point brisket. This is supposed to be the most marbled and tender part of the brisket. The product was chewy and tasteless. It tasted like select grade beef. ( i.e. the grade worse than choice, and nowhere near prime).

We have purchased 4X 5 OZ Wagyu steaks for $127. The steaks arrived rancid and smelly and had to throw them away. I have contacted crowd cow several times but no one returned my call or my emails. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but crowd cow responded with a false statement saying that the matter has been resolved with the consumer. I also filed a complaint with Wells Fargo to stop the credit card payment but crowd cow said they will only give a refund If I was able to produce a certified opinion from a third-party that the steaks arrived spoiled. This is one of the worst customer betrayal nightmares I have ever encountered. Therefore I would like to take this opportunity to warn everybody before they get their next meet shipment from "Coward Cow".

I love using Crowd Cow.

We love grilling the steaks that we buy from them, and the Wagyu is off the charts. Their subscription service makes it super easy as well and they email/text you a couple weeks before they ship it out to see if there are any changes to the items in the cart, shipping date, etc.

Their communication is A+. I've texted them before with questions on a weekend, and they've responded immediately (even though it's outside of their business hours).

And lastly, their packaging is environmentally friendly. There are no synthetic foams uses, its all paper recyclable and the "padding" they use can be recycled via compost, melts in water, or can be used as a lighter for a grill. Pretty magical.

Love experiences with Crowd Cow so far. Ordered organic chicken initially. Well packaged and perfectly frozen through arrival. Next order was Alaskan King Crab sent to two separate addresses. Amazing crab - very definitely flash-frozen fresh & fast because flavor and texture were ideal. Great communication throughout ordering process. When I had a question about delivery to the second address they texted me quickly. Highly recommend.

Crowd Cow provides exceptional service. Their website is up to date with their latest inventory. I believe from a users experience it is updated frequently but when I visit the site I notice their selection varies, which is good if you are able to order what you are looking for. They provide details on the ranches and farms you are purchasing from so you know what your are receiving and from where.

Orders are accepted and shipment is quick. They provide tracking information as quickly as possible so you know when to expect your meats. If you are not able to store your delivery quickly, their packaging is exceptional so need to worry if you are not home for a few hours after delivery.

As first time customer, I was very impressed with the service, quality and professionalism. I will continues to purchase from Crowd Cow in the future to support them and local ranches.
