The issues with Stan sport streaming are so many and varied it is impossible to outline them here. We have tried to fix things ourselves, purchasing an upgraded modem and paying to have a hard wired connection at Stan's suggestion. Stan staff members always try to shovel blame on our equipment, but given their service will be fine from time to time and rubbish on most other occasions, it is hard to believe that the problems are at our end.
We are now paying $42 per month for a completely unsatisfactory service and Stan doesn't appear to care, refusing to call and advising remediation can only take place by messaging. The only reason we have Stan is for the Rugby but we will have to consider our options. We are also in the process of lodging a complaint with the Telecommunication Industry Ombudsman and suggest that everyone else with a Stan problem do likewise.

Has to be the worst streaming service on the planet. Constant crashes and buffering issues while trying to watch live football. They say it’s my internet but I have 100mb service on NBN and don’t have any issues with other services. Dreadful.

The quality of goal rush or not a 4k production is like a dual up connection and virtually unwatchable.
They have also axed about 50% of analysis shows and more expensive than optus that was more consistent viewing experience.
Seems they only care about money and Australian s are being ripped off again.

Stan sport = lag sport. The football buffers constantly throughout games. Even the replays are bad to watch. Bring back Optus.

Disgusting forcing us to pay 30+ AUD per month and then putting 3.5 minutes of ads before we can watch the content? I just wanted to watch a football match with my kid and he had to watch whatever content from this ads before. Trully disappointed.
Aside from that, good system in general, otherwise I would give 1 star.

Zero stars. Stan are a disgrace. There is NO flexibility, they say no contract and easy to join and cancel but it's impossible. The service is appalling. I now have to beg my bank to not allow Stan to take my money, as they make it impossible to cancel. The blurd they provide, "hover your mouse over your icon to access your account etc. Etc'does not work. I can't even get Into my account to cancel it. You can join from a phone, but not cancel from a phone. You can only cancel via a PC (but then thay doesn't work). Appalling company.

The product is great, works great. But the billing constantly goes up without notice.

Also the fact we've used the service every month for 4 years, flawlessly. Then one day it gets turned off and we no longer have access due to our geotag.

No explanation, no apologies, nothing. Just straight ban, yet they still take our direct debit monthly.

Shocking business practises. It really wouldn't be hard to auto email clients you're terminating the service to...

Stan decided to give me a sports package upgrade that i didn't ask for or know i had. I have now cancelled my subscription and have not received an email confirming this which is a worry. It's nothing more than a scam

Totally rubbish experience with supposed live Premiere League coverage. Glitching multiple times and freezing with the buffering circle during the games.
Stan use every excuse and gaslight saying the issue is with you and not them, but even when you watch the replay of the exact game the same glitches are present !! The audio commentary is also several seconds behind during the replay with the ball in the back of the net with the commentators shouting goal several second later, you can watch the goalkeeper kick the ball from a goal kick and then you hear the ball being kicked a few seconds later, truly pathetic.
Do a better job Stan, this is a truly awful experience for many of us.

Over the last few months. We have trouble logging in. During live rugby games it constantly freezes and the wheel comes up ! I know if 4 other households having g the same problem.

We have tried to restart over and over …

We do not have this problem with any other streaming service.

I have sent 3 messages to Stan with No response to date.

I’ve been with Stan since its inception in 2015. I’d alway paid from my Apple account. When I decided to cancel this payment form and buy a Gift Card to pay for my account, I ran into a problem. Customer service contacted me once only and asked for more info regarding the Gift Card and its PIN number. I waited for a response but nothing. Tried them 5 times and nothing. Then I read somewhere that accounts that had been set up using Apple could not be reactivated and I had to start afresh with a new login. Fair enough but rather than have me waste hours finding this out, why not help me and advise me? Terrible total lack of customer service. Maybe stay away from them.

Hopeless customer service, complained about problems with the feed during, not just part of the game but the whole thing, after signing up just to watch it and was told a better version would be updated for viewing 3 days later, after pointing out to them that this wasn’t of help to me as I watched the full match with buffering, they disregarded my comments.

Constant stalls on signal. Like ever 5 seconds or so. A disaster. Bring back Optus Sport!

I think Stan should give back the Rugby Union rights to Fox Sports. Stan is horrible and glitchy. Takes away the fun of sports. Took 10 min to watch 5 mins. Sort your crap out Stan and stop using cheap resources for financial gain.

Constant signal breaking, even on the replays. The image quality is bad. Even they increased the price of the sport package due to the acquisition of the EPL. If you can’t handle the increase of viewers, please give it to someone who can.

Constant buffering, "something went wrong" messages in front of the item that I'm watching. The error message in the way is the problem. Stan doesn't return messages, says they will be in touch in 30min then doesn't. Said they will credit my account for a month then charged me 5 days later

Won’t let me unsubscribe……been taking my money for 7 years …..

Ive paid 12 euros and It says an unexpected error occurred and I cant sign in..😂

Live EPL streaming is very glitchy and keeps freezing several times per minute. with a game like football, it takes away all the enjoyment of seeing a free flowing game. Also, the user interface is nowhere near and easy to navigate like Optus'. Poor quality service and sad to see they the EPL rights for AUSTRALIA

Signed up two days ago. I have been watching two shows. Both were plagued by constant freezing a few minutes apart. I will give it a few more days. If no improvement I will cancel my subscription.
