I cancelled account and they are still trying to steal money out of my account. I cancelled again but don’t trust them.

I have resubscribed after the absence from the Paris Olympics - and ....still the same - i subscribed becuas I am a rugby fanantic - we pay an extra $20 to add sport and they cant even keep the broadcast on between breaks during live Rugby matches - comentary just disappears with the back after the break image - FOXTEL were better broadcasting Rugby and I hope they get the rugby back in the future

Previously used Stan, cancelled ages ago, however recently received an email with a $2 a month for 2 months to re-activate the account on Basic Plan.
Well, ignoring content, the continual buffering experience is terrible ie in 15 minutes, I managed to see about 6 minutes of content. And this was not a one off isolated experience.
They had me running their nbn speed test software, and it returned values half of other third party tests I ran.
In summary, you only get what you pay for, but in this case, I paid too much.

Super Rugby GF is not broadcast in HD. A really pathetic picture.

I don't want to leave a bad review but I constantly have download issues when trying to download movies for on the plane etc. It does not matter if it's my tablet or phone. It takes so long to download a movie . It does not matter if I use my phone data or home data. No change. I will have to cancel my subscription yet again as Stan don't seen to be interested in fixing the issue. I love to know if anyone disagrees and has no issue downloading 😕

Overall I am sick of streaming companies making it difficult to cancel subscriptions. Every subscription has increased in price exponentially with limited if any increase in value. What is the point in paying for content if you have to pay extra to avoid adds, or get better quality content or you have to go to a website to cancel a subscription that you can add at the drop of a hat by other methods. So over greedy companies making basic content so expensive and hard to cancel. I pay already for no adds and brought an expensive TV to play higher quality content and a simple click will let me re-subscribe if I want to watch some content you have but too bad if you only want to watch that one thing etc. Stuff the consumer, they have to jump through hoops to stop paying. So over this stuff from every greedy companies. We all have money pressures and we have rights to choose how we spend stop punishing people for not having $120+ per month to watch content that companies choose to downgrade from high quality to shit or add advertising. If I wanted shit quality and adds id go back to free for view content. This modern pay for basic breathing item is bullshit. So done with this crap.

Terrible. Difficult to cancel have to jump on laptop, cant do from mobile. Then on laptop it says account deactive even though they charger me $17/month regularly. Then I have 'reactivate' again by entering my card info and choose a plan again, that cost me another $12 for the cheapest one. Unreal! 500mbps internet yet still buffering on stan.

Plays ads during the tennis. No different from free to air. Pathetic.

Bought Stan to watch Survivor 50 and other entertainment. All season, no ads. Now the final of survivor is on and its riddled with ads. Thankyou for spoiling this show and the flow of the episode. At least other streaming services honour their ad free policies. Cancelling my service right now.

Stan has always been okay and the sound it better than any other including Netflix and Prime ,but when they started putting the series "From" on to weekly episodes it won't buffer and load, So Sunday just gone is when I would want to be watching season 4 eps 5 and it hasn't loaded yet , I read it is their band width that would be the issue but it's so annoying and I know "From is a popular show , will try again tonight.

I ordered a physical product (not digital) from a seller on Stan. Stan sent me a receipt for the purchase. When the item failed to arrive, I contacted Stan and was told that Stan doesn’t guarantee delivery or refunds. The sellers contact in not operational. I have been scammed and Stan says it’s not their responsibility. Do Not buy from Stan!

Stan allowed me to set up the account with a stan gift card and recharge with a stan gift card but if I let the account run dormant for a couple of weeks it won't allow me to reactivate with a stan gift card and only gives me an option to provide credit card details after I've already spent money on stan gift cards. I'm sure that's not legal. So While Stan has a monopoly on Rugby union viewing I'm prevented from watching it, so I miss out. Stan has a poor attitude towards their customers because they won't even talk to them. I want to talk to a real person not read a thousand questions that I will never ask to find the one that suits my complaint. What a bunch of pretenders, they deserve to be given a big nasty fine by the TIO! BOO Stan, BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I have been a subscriber for several years and I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the direction of content on this platform.

Almost every new series I start — regardless of genre — features gay relationships as central storylines involving main characters. I recently tried Boots, Heartbreak High, Elite, The Royals and even Outlander, and every single one follows the same pattern.

I want to be clear — this is not about hatred toward anyone. This is about content that simply does not appeal to me personally as a viewer. I have to fast forward through significant portions of shows I would otherwise enjoy because the content makes me uncomfortable. That is not an enjoyable viewing experience.

What I and many viewers I know actually want is straightforward storytelling about men and women — normal relationships that the majority of the population relates to and lives every day. These stories are becoming increasingly rare on this platform.

The content feels agenda driven rather than audience driven. I pay a subscription fee to be entertained, not to have social messaging pushed at me repeatedly across every show I try to watch.

Stan has a lot of the highest tier football (PL and UCL) and other sports and media in its selection, however the great package on paper is ruined by system issues.

This isn’t 1 star as I have been given months credits as compensation and not all match viewings have had technical issues, but for the majority of months this football season there have been. Issues include:

Inconsistent quality- downscaling on hq setting
Buffering and blurriness (couldn’t read players’ names)
Login issue with browsers- meaning my browser had to be changed often. This made me late for games trying to login.
Hq setting not available when I paid for the hd subscription.
Unexpected app shutdowns mid match.

The customer service has been fairly responsive apart from one time when I had to contact repeatedly. They did manage to fix the issues for certain periods but I think they have a latency issue on their side sometimes which means that really strong internet speeds will still incur streaming issues.

I would want to return but for any hd streaming subscription, the advertised quality should be consistent with no tech issues or downgrading. This is a basic standard that Netflix and Prime bring with the minimum internet connection.

If Stan fix this for good then the good reviews may come with the great sports selection- they were starting to improve but I’ll need to be convinced to sign up again.

2 weeks ago ordered item. Have not received shipment details. Waited 1 hour 40 minutes online. No response. Tried to send emails to complain no response. Avoid these scammers like the plague. Pathetic.

Cannot understand why most people on here are not impressed with Stan/Stan Sports
They have improved the quality of the streams (I now have the top package that includes 4K) & have to say I am impressed with the quality of the football coverage
Yeah the entertainment package could include a larger library but whilst the Australian Dollar is low compared to the GBP, its great value for money!

Absolute disgrace. Have been with Stan for years. Been great. Did so as an ad free option to other platforms. However, I paid for this luxury. Recently, they have introduced ads before and during shows. Unbelievable! I am literally paying for the service because it is ad free and they introduce ads. This is so annoying. I am cancelling my subscription today! Goodbye Stan

Service is utterly crap.

Sign up to Stan for the Rugby, $40 a month, not ideal. They put ads in a paid stream, not ideal. But the one thing I cannot handle…. Please speed up the fast-forwarding!!!! If I log back in to watch the second half, it will take me 5+ mins to catch up FFS. I’d love it to all be on Kayo, but I’m supportive. Just fix the fast forwarding!!!!!

For someone who enjoys watching premier league, I feel I’m over paying for a service that contains so much content I am not interested in or ever watch.
Very inflexible, just like foxtel used to be, and I look forward to the day I cancel my subscription. Awful service, awful price point, awful all around. I don’t understand why any non sports fan would ever choose Stan.
