difficult returns
the returns policy is impossible to work with. it's far too convoluted, you spend too much of your time trying to chase them to sort the returns out. Always makes me suspicious of a company when the returns policy is too difficult.

Our returns process requires customers to notify us of their intention to return an item within 14 days of delivery. Once approved by our returns team, you then have a further 14 days to return the item to the address provided.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Item purchased and paid in full. Told multiple times it had shipped (Over the course of a month long) but was never provided with a tracking no. Had to chase through multiple emails not even being responded to. Dreadful customer service and order fulfilment.

"I would give zero stars if I could. After researching prices, I found this company significantly more expensive than competitors. While they advertise a price match policy, they appear to rename products to make direct comparisons difficult.
Our experience with the order itself was equally frustrating. Incorrect delivery details on their end caused repeated delays, and by the time a resolution was in sight, we would no longer be at the address — leaving us no choice but to cancel.
What followed was the most disappointing part. Despite the delays being caused by their error, we were informed we would be charged both a delivery fee and a 10% restocking fee. For an online-only retailer, applying return delivery charges and a restocking fee when the cancellation resulted from their own fulfilment mistakes feels unreasonable and, frankly, predatory.
I would strongly caution others to consider these policies before ordering."

Once an order has been shipped, delivery charges are incurred with our carrier. Amazing Service from House of Isabella
I had seen a canvas picture in a store but due to reasons that aren't worth going in to, the store couldn't sell it to me. After searching the internet I found the identical canvas with House of Isabella at a much more competitive price. Unfortunately, after placing the order, I was informed that due to a stock discrepancy on the website, they were awaiting stock replenishment and the order couldn't be fulfilled, but I was offered the option to either wait the item to come back into stock or opt for a full refund. I opted to wait for the item to come back into stock but agreed to liaise with House of Isabella concerning their supplier's situation. I received correspondence from the Operations Director and Client Experience Manager, both of whom were very polite, efficient and sincerely apologetic. Eventually, the canvas came back into stock and I was allocated priority shipment.
My experience with House of Isabella is so refreshing and the personal touch is so much better than dealing with a robot – the reason I kept my business with them whilst awaiting replenishment stock.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again – mistakes are made but it how it is dealt with that speaks volumes. An apology goes a long way.

The customer service was dreadful

The point I'm making is your customer service person was extremely unhelpful. I had no idea about this purchase; I just wanted information, and she didn't want to give it to me. She wanted me to try and find out myself, even though I had no order number, no confirmation email, nothing to go on. That was the whole reason I contacted you. As I said above, I have never received a confirmation email. This is why I was surprised to be advised that money would be taken out of my account. On contacting Affirm, I have now been given the information I was looking for. At no point have you ever sent me a confirmation email, and at no point did you mention it would take four weeks to be delivered.
Please note, I didn't contact you about a payment received; I contacted you about receiving a text from an unknown number telling me they were going to take money out of my account. Yes, your colleague may have thought she explained, but in reality, she was basically telling me to go and check it myself. As I said, I had nothing to go on. I didn't even know who the company was to start with. And yes, proof of the order receipt was indeed copied into the chat. But that was the first time I'd seen any evidence of the order. Richmond Interiors? Who on earth are they? I've never heard of them. Reading your reply has just proven to me you are just as rude as your colleague.
You suggest I contact you if I have any further questions...you don't even have a phone number!
