We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience.
However, we would like to clarify that we responded to your report on the same day it was raised and reviewed the matter fully. Unfortunately, the damage was reported 10 days after delivery had taken place, which falls outside the transit damage reporting timeframe outlined within our terms and conditions.
As explained in our previous correspondence, transit damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery due to courier insurance requirements and liability limitations once goods have been signed for and accepted.
We do appreciate your frustration and are sorry we could not provide the resolution you were hoping for.

I ordered a chest of drawers costing around £800. About 15 days in, I discovered that 2 of the drawer panels are coming off/splitting open. I raised a complaint to house of Isabella, who have basically come back saying "too late...you should have told us within 5 days of delivery"; wow. It's surreal to think that such customer experience exits in todays extremely competitive world.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’ve been disappointed with your experience, and we completely understand your frustration regarding the issue you reported.
As discussed in our email correspondence, if we are able to identify a confirmed manufacturing or structural defect through normal use, we absolutely would support this through the manufacturer’s warranty process.
In this particular case, the item was delivered over two months ago and the issue has only recently been reported to us. Based on the information and images currently provided, we have not been able to conclusively determine that the issue is the result of a manufacturing fault, rather than damage that may have occurred after delivery or developed over time during use.
Our reporting and inspection timeframes are in place because, once an item has been in use for a period of time, it unfortunately becomes much more difficult to objectively establish the original cause of damage or wear. For this reason, we do need to assess claims in line with our terms and conditions.
We do appreciate your point that the same issue appearing in a similar area may understandably raise concerns about the product itself, and we are certainly not suggesting intentional damage or misuse. We are simply required to rely on evidence that allows us to determine the cause of the issue as fairly as possible.
As mentioned, if you are able to provide any additional close-up photographs, videos, or further information showing the affected areas and overall condition of the item, we would be more than happy to review this further. Should evidence indicate a manufacturing defect, we would of course support the appropriate warranty process.

My package has not arrived despite receiving emails telling me it has. I've had to stay in for 2 days as was told it would be arriving. I phoned Evri, and was told repeatedly it was on its way. Not happy!

The wonderful floor rug
The company were very quick with the delivery and it was actually placed near my front door (which was very safe as living in a gated community) and was packaged well and so thrilled to of received the rug so quickly and efficiently. Bodhi REALTO Dining Table & Upholstered Chairs
I ordered the Bodhi REALTO 2 door sideboard, dining table and 6 upholstered chairs on 19th November 2025 and delivery was made on 21st January 2026.
All was fine, but now 3 months later, two of the chair backs have shown signs of splitting.
I emailed customer service and they said Following their assessment, they have advised that the type of splitting and twisting described would not typically occur naturally over time or as a result of standard conditions. This kind of issue is usually associated with an external influence rather than a fault in the manufacturing process. I asked what external influence meant, they said To clarify, “external influence” refers to factors outside of the manufacturing process — for example, environmental conditions, pressure applied during use, or handling over time.
The chairs have only been used occasionally since purchase in Jan 26, so under no circumstances have any external factors caused this issue. How are the other 4 chairs fine, if all 6 are under the same external influences? The 2products was and are faulty.
They are refusing to do anything about it. There response was
Based on this assessment, the manufacturer has advised that they are unable to accept this as a manufacturing fault, and therefore we’re unable to proceed with a claim on this occasion
I will not be purchasing from this company again. Very bad customer service and responses regarding returns.

Having reviewed your order, this was originally placed as a pre-order and delivered in January, which means it now falls outside of our returns timeframe. The chairs have also been in use for over three months for personal use.
Following the assessment carried out, the type of damage reported has been identified as occurring after use rather than as a manufacturing fault present at the point of delivery.
We truly appreciate your concerns and completely understand your frustration, especially given that only some of the chairs are affected. While we are unable to proceed with a claim on this occasion, your feedback is very important to us and will be shared with our wider team.
