Terrible organisation. Feels like my daughter has been scammed. They make it look like their books are physical hard copies, then say they send an ebook. This hasn't even arrived after contacting them to ask for a refund.
Do not use this organisation to buy a book.

Scam company, fell for it like everyone else here. Do not use.

Ordered what I thought was a physical book. Went right through the website, even said 'in stock, ready to ship'. Waited 2 weeks and nothing. Got in touch with them to be told it was an ebook. Told them that I wanted a physical one, can we do a refund (as the website returns policy seemed pretty straight forward) was told 'However, since this is a digital product, returns and refunds are not possible. All sales are final!'. Not happy. They've never bothered to email back either. Avoid!

Don’t use this company, I ordered a book which was clearly going to be posted out. Shipping policy states delivery between 5-7days, no mention of digital download. When I emailed for a refund as I had ordered a physical book, emailed back saying only digital download from this company. Doesn’t say that anywhere on the website. Beware if ordering

Exactly the same experience as everybody else .. very disappointed.

I have experienced the same travesty with this trader as all other fellow book buyers on here.

The name of the person behind it is Benn Darren (born in April 1983).
He currently applied for voluntary strike-off. And maybe he will continue robbing people after the company is closed. BEWARE!
He has been stealing since March 2024.

SCAM
Make you believe you are buying a physical book and send a link for an ebook. They refuse a refund however as soon as I contacted them advising I had contacted Citizens Advice to action a Trading Standards complaint and contacted my bank for chargeback they state I will receive a full refund. We will see if that happens but will I continue with chargeback as I'm not confident these scammers will refund!

Terrible company, imply you've got a physical book ordered, delivery address and delivery date. Then they refuse to refund as it is an ebook. SCAM.

This Company misleads customers into thinking you are ordering physical books in paper form by stating postage/shipping. Refund is refused even though it clearly states you can ‘return products’? How do you return an eBook? It's all a deceptive strategy to lure you into parting with your money?! A very dishonest, misleading and fraudulent company... Avoid like the corona virus

The same as what everyone else is saying, I am writing a review as I read the comments and the person that wrote about chargeback is completely correct. In my first email to them I wrote that I was going to request this and they refunded within the hour

The whole website is designed to make you think you are buying a book.

They only include shipping details for physical copies of books.
They only include a returns policy for physical copies of books.
NOWHERE on the website does it state you are buying digital books.
The ISBN number for every book tells you that you are buying a paperback book - this in itself shows they are not just trying to mislead but are actively lying.

If you are reading this after having a similar experience, contact your bank with the above evidence to start a chargeback and investigation.

Zohobok will tell you that you cannot get a refund for digital items, despite the fact this is mentioned no where in their T&Cs. However as soon as you tell them you have done a chargeback through your bank they will miraculously offer a refund. Do not stop the chargeback through your bank until you have received the refund.

Ebook scam. They make out you are buying a book with dispatch and delivery dates, yet there is no book, only when you email to track the order do they state you purchased an E book.

Same as everyone else. They imply on their website that they are real books you are buying but in fact not. They respond saying you bought a digital download and then dont send you that either. Automated customer service replies to email saying you can't have a refund etc. Total scam!

Books are digital only. Company misleads people in to thinking they are physical books by offering free postage. They then refuse refund even though they tell you that you can ‘return products’. Dishonest and misleading. Avoid avoid avoid!

It's a scam. Nowhere does it say you are buying a download.With Free Delivery, you naturally assume you are buying a physical book. Have reported to Google in the hope they take this site down.

As with other customers, nowhere does it say on the website that this is a digital product and, indeed, everything on the site leads you to believe it's a physical book. They advertise a refund policy but then refuse to refund as they say no refund on digital products despite misleading customers into buying it. It's very clearly a scam. I just wish I'd read the reviews before sending them money.

I was persistent with emails and have just received a refund back to my credit card, so it can be done.

I specifically requested a hard copy of a book on my order and they delivered an electronic version an wouldn't provide a refund although there was no loss to themselves.
Swindlers at best. Thieves at worst
