This is the worst meat company online
This is the worst company on the planet. As I ordered twice from them they screwed up my order twice and then told me that I should be happy with the product they sent instead of what I bought. I ordered ground white meat turkey and they sent me turkey thigh ground meat and told me to enjoy it. I explained I didn't want it. I didn't order it. I want a credit or ship me what I purchased. They denied me so now I have to dispute this with the credit card. Customer service is horrific

Meat is Horrible and the other options are equally as bad. I spent $250 on a 4 bone Prime Rib that was mostly bone and the meat was HORRIBLE!!
I ordered a small Lasagna for the non meat eaters and I've never had any Lasagna that bad.

Their customer service is very poor. When I changed my delivery date I was billed for an additional order that I did not want. I had changed my delivery order in the past and this did not happen. When I contacted customer service they did not care. They are very expensive and I would not ever recommend them to anyone.

They are very expensive and difficult to keep track of it you postpone a box when right on funds. The only reason I'm leaving this review is because after postponing a box as far out as I could and then forgot about postponing again the box was delivered and left on the side of the road next to my mailbox rather than at my doorstep as they have done in the future. So not only could I not afford the box I got, which was my fault for not keeping track better, all the fish was thawed and I had to trash it!!
This is not for those who may have occasional financial issues. Just go to your local butcher and seafood market.

I have been using this service for a while now! I canceled my membership because of the poor customer service experience!! I canceled a turkey order because it was going to the wrong address? I reached out to them and it was useless! They have an excuse for everything to not refund my money? When you can’t reach a live person that’s not good! They still won’t refund my money because it was a perishable item. Then they said I canceled the item to soon?? It was 11/06 plenty of time to cancel it! I will not use there service anymore. They just don’t want to cooperate with you? There’s always an excuse of why they won’t refund your money. Beware when you sign up for this particular company.

Quality of meat is lower than I expected and Im dissapointed. The free Wiagu addition was amazing. The 35 dollar New York strip looks amazing but had many unchewable pieces. I just had a 10 dollar Costco steak I was really dissapointed in so I ordered from these guys. We have a few left in our freezer hoping they are better than this one. When you pay up you really want to appreciate so I feel let down.
Be aware when you order frozen items
My box arrived with no ice packs or anything to keep the contents cold at least , I was at work and my bf decided to save the situation and put everything in the deep freeze ; I contacted Crowd Cow CS later same day to report what happened but there was no support at all for what happened and Nina kept repeating same robotic answers within her emails. I had to throw the food away because it smelled as well.

I've been a customer for a few years now. I should say was a customer. Your customer service and lack of phone number is a joke. All of the problems could have been avoided. I cannot believe I referred people to your company. I placed an order of over $150 to receive my waygu beef and also had a reward. I purposefully went over that amount to get those add ons. You were out of my preferred chicken and sent me an email that needed to be responded to within an hour. Of course no phone call because why call me? I'm just expected to magically see an email. I did happen to see it and responded with follow up questions. I requested someone to call me but they didn't. They just decided they were going send the other anyway. I again told them not to and to please call me to discuss. I wanted to know when my chicken was likely coming in but nope... They just proceeded. Then, I told them again to not send. Then a person, finally called me and I told him my situation. I thought we were on the same page but nope... The chicken is on its way! So when you recalculated my order with the alternate chicken it came to under $150 and now I don't get my beef or reward. I told the person on the phone and again he said we were going to stop the order and wait. He said the computer automatically took away my rewards. I again ordered that much to get the rewards. He said he was stopping and calling me today but nope... Order will be here today! The fact that a company this large doesn't have a phone number is ridiculous. Also, I never got my referral bonus to add insult to injury! I'm done with you. I appreciate the good products and want to support small farms but I don't want to support you or your horrible customer service!

I wanted to love these guys but overall bad experience. First, they have a great website which is unfortunately a bit misleading since their customer service is not good at all. I wrote to them over a week ago about the lobster tails we ordered and have yet to hear back from them.
We have no problem paying for great quality products and wanted to support these two brothers that provide their lobster. But, they were horrible. I am a chef so I do know how to cook and well, let me put it this way....they were inedible, (mushy) we threw them out.
The wagyu beef they sent had more hard fat than the melt in your mouth marbling part you can eat. Very disappointing considering the price tag.
The ground meat was decent for our burgers but all in all if you don't care about your customers you'll more than likely lose them. Didn't try our shrimp and chicken yet but at this point, not hopeful. The worst part is it's evident that even if we had a problem with our purchases, it won't matter to Crowd Cow.

I several bags of shrimp and they were all spoiled. I was very disappointed in the quality and how customer service only wanted to give me a $25 credit which is no where near the cost paid. I would have accepted a replacement but I was never given that option.

Great Company
I was so pleased with my order from Crowd Cow! My order was excellent, their pork is so good as is their beef. I just ordered some fish, so I’ll update my review, but so far I love them! Their customer service, shipping, and products are excellent! Will continue to order.

The Fish is awful if you do not know fresh from old
The Beef is fine, but the Fish is absolutely awful. If you do not know the difference between old fish and fresh fish, then you probably won’t be disappointed. I’ve ordered twice…two strikes is enough and the company does not care if you complain about quality. Always use AMEX when ordering, AMEX stands behind you and will reimburse you for the bad product. Crowd cow doesn’t seem to care
Crowd Cow - Unethical Business Practices
Very poor quality items shipped. Bone-in pork chops were no more than 1/4" thick, making them impossible to grill. Tough and full of gristle. Threw them in trash. The Mishima Wagyu Ribeye steak was no more than 5/8” thick and pretty much fat and gristle. Ended up dry and tasteless even though it was cooked medium rare. Only good pieces were a few morsels near the outer edge. Spent $127 and got nothing. No customer service response after a month of waiting, other than to offer $25 off next order from Crowd Cow. A joke. Suggest you stay away from this supplier.
Horrible customer service and…
Horrible customer service and experience all the way around. They shipped me 2 orders - their mistake - and charged me twice and would not make it right. Their products ate not that great — all the fish is small portions with mismatched thickness - only 6 oz. And meat is no different than you can get in the stores. Not worth the aggrevation. Go to your local farmers market— support them. Not the greedy cheaters.

Twice the order was sent 3 or 4 day delivery during the winter to south Texas where we can have 5 or 6 days of 80+ degree weather, one box completely thawed, another half thawed, half partially frozen. I would not recommend to anyone.
Long time customer...
I've been getting meat and other proteins from Crowd Cow since the beginning of the pandemic. Great products and great customer service. I will never buy grocery store meat again. This is a super company!!

This company sucks! I have a friend 3 gift cards and she can’t even use them. They keep promising her a code to be able to use these cards and then never send it. This has been going on since December. She had 3 totally useless gifts cards totally $125 and no food items. TERRIBLE customer service and dishonest people. Never again Crowd Cow. I’m contacting the authorities in your area. This is not just bad customer service. It’s STEALING

The past 3 orders were all bad. The chicken was inedible and freezer burned which you could not see in its frozen state but when defrosted, it was white and frozen solid to the plastic wrapping. The first time I ordered bacon and pork was delicious but the second time the pork had to be thrown out it was so tough. The bacon was so fatty the 3rd time.

DO NOT do business with Crowd Cow. I placed an order as a Christmas gift on Dec 1 for a Dec 21 delivery. I received confirmation of the delivery. However, the recipient did not get the package. I spoke with the delivery company and they confirmed the package was delivered NOWHERE near the address of the recipient. The first CSR did not seem the least bit interested in remedying my situation. In fact, even accused me of using an incorrect delivery address. Two days later a second CSR reached out with a resolution I felt was reasonable for their error. Only to be contacted the next day by a third CSR retracting the offer previously extended. Simply sending a replacement order is not satisfactory to me if you totally screwed someone out of a Christmas gift. There should be some compensation for the mistake. I requested a full refund and will never do business with them again. You have to make customers feel you care, even just a little bit as to whether or not they are satisfied with your service. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!
