🚨 AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS 🚨
Consider this your warning. Every negative review points to the same individuals—Trevor, Simon, and Sam—operating like con artists. They lure you in with seemingly professional initial contact, but once the work is done, the nightmare begins.

I hired them to re-cushion a leather sofa with high-density foam. The technician took a sample on day one, returned later to complete the job, and immediately became defensive about anyone observing her work. Once finished, she rushed for payment via bank transfer and issued a “receipt” from a shady email address: noreplyleatherrepairreceipts@g***l.com. The invoice contained zero details, and the email itself bluntly stated: “DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS… YOU WILL NOT BE RESPONDED TO.”

I followed instructions not to use the sofa for four days. When I finally did, the problems were glaring:

A large gap between the seat cushion and backrest

The front section visibly thicker than the back

Uneven foam distribution creating an uncomfortable, awkward seating position

When I raised these issues, Trevor arranged another visit. The technician flatly denied any problems and brushed me off with vague promises to “speak to the office.” After repeated follow-ups, I was told there was “no issue.” My request for a second technician was ignored, and eventually, they stopped responding altogether.

I have now reported this company to Trading Standards. Their refusal to provide a phone number and reliance on email-only communication is no accident—it’s a deliberate tactic to dodge accountability.

I am over the moon with the result Grace got with my tricky little burn (actually it was quite big - the size of my middle finger nail - achieved by burning an incense cone). Grace really lived up to her name, she arrived composed, was honest about what she thought would be possible, not raising my hopes but diligently and conscientiously worked to achieve a near miracle. The result is barely noticeable and very well matched in colour. It has improved further overnight so only from certain angles can it even be noticed. The response from booking to having the work done was very good and I would highly recommend. Thanks team.

From initial contact with Trevor very helpful and quick responses to my emails. Date to do works very quick. Then dealt with Sam who confirmed date and time. The lady that came to do the works was beyond excellent. I did not believe that my suite could be made to look as if it had just come out of the showroom. 100% satisfied.

A quick response to my enquiry. The technician was pleasant, efficient, and took the time to explain the issue, which was different from what I had originally contacted the company about; this required more work but this was done without any questions.

Had a zip replaced in an old leather jacket, very few places offer this service. Trevor handled the process well and the repair was done for a reasonable price and within expected time frame. Pleased with the outcome, good to be able to refurb rather than dispose of an old favourite, thanks Trevor.

Although nothing to do with leather, they organised for a technician to do a home visit to replace the webbing on bamboo furniture. The technician came promptly with all she needed to complete the task quicky and efficiently.
The sofa and chairs are back to being useful, comfortable items of furniture.

Awful, I wish I had read the reviews before I sent my bag for repair. I have lost £69, they spent 6 weeks to replace the zip on my bag and didn't replace it, it broke again on the first use. Extremely rude customer service.
Avoid and do not use.

I asked for an old leather jacket to have the lining replaced with as close to original as possible, label transferred and a hole in the arm repaired. It has come back just as I have asked and I am really happy with the repairs and lining replacement which makes it look how it was just better. Plus it was slightly cheaper than the original quote.

The relining of my leather bag was very good. Would recommend.

Had a decorator in who splashed arm of leather chair with paint he rubbed the leather and took the leather colour out I phoned leather restoration who asked me to send photo of damage he told me could be fixed and give me a good quote and date the technician lady came out wow fantastic job well recommended this company saved me buying new suite thank you so much

Absolutely fantastic service! My tatty leather jacket came back looking like new. It's a jacket I love and I thought it was at the end of its days but now looks fantastic . 5-star experience for me! I got a few quotes from various leather repair places and the prices varies wildly. These guys set their prices in line with my expectations (considering the work that needed doing). Not only was I thrilled with the results (better than my expectations and the colour and leather match were both spot on) but the comms throughout the whole process were excellent and they repaired and returned my bag quicker than the timescale they told me to allow (which is expectation management at its best).

I wholeheartedly recommend and I will certainly use again.

After they padded my chair they said not to sit on it for two hours and then it was too late to realise it was really uncomfortable, sloping to one side and too high. You couldn't lean on the arm rests as the seat was for too high.
I had dealt with Trevor via email but when I contacted him to tell him about the chair I heard nothing. I tried several times but no response at all which I thought was shocking.
I have passed his information to Trading Standards and Advice Scotland so hopefully they might be able to do something.
Avoid this Company.

We had a saggy cushion on a leather sofa replaced today, Grace did a fantastic job and was very professional. The sofa feels like new again. Communication with this company was excellent, quick response to queries, very competitive quote and very quick to come out and do the repair. Thanks Trevor. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

Spoke to Trevor and Simon who were completely useless. Absolute con and waste of money. First of all, they spent about 2 months to repair one zip on a leather bag. The zip they fitted was cheap and did not fit with the aesthetic of the bag. To make matters worse, they took the original designer hardware and didn’t return it! The zip then broke on the first use. When I asked for a refund I was told I need to spend more money to have the zip repaired again despite it being an issue with their replacement parts. Definitely avoid. Scammers.

My Leather sofa had a split and some scuff marks on one seat. The other side was fine as was the matching chair. I contacted The Leather Restoration Company. From the start they were helpful and pleasant. Also the quote was very reasonable. The Technician who came was polite, and friendly. The work that he did is excellent, can't see the stitching and the awful scuffs are completely gone. I am very pleased with the outcome and also the price. They did a good job and saved me a considerable amount of money. Would recommend them to anyone in fact I already have done.
