One of the most disappointing companies I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Initial experience was very positive, however since then we uncovered major quality issues with the installation. The workmanship from Sustain was shoddy and fell nowhere near the standard you would expect from a professional company. What made matters considerably worse was the attitude when problems were raised. There appeared to be a complete disdain for customers once they had your money, coupled with an astonishing lack of accountability.
Mistakes and poor workmanship can happen, but what really distinguishes a good company is how it responds when things go wrong. In my experience, Sustain seemed far more interested in avoiding responsibility than actually putting things right.
The whole experience left me feeling completely let down and extremely frustrated. If customer service, quality workmanship and accountability matter to you, I would think very carefully before using Sustain.
For me, this has been an expensive and deeply disappointing experience. I would not use this company again, and based on my experience, I would struggle to recommend them to anyone else.

We recently had the heating replaced throughout the vicarage, and I want to express my appreciation for the team who carried out the work. I was genuinely impressed by how clean and organised they were, and the entire job was completed in just four days. Their friendliness and professionalism made the whole process smooth and stress‑free.

22.5 system on a small business/charity in a Victorian setting. The contractors were great. They even came back to support us when we were fixing something unrelated later, and joined a community event we held.
Great value for money too - it's been a year and we are seeing results.

Sustain's quotation was detailed and thougthful,
and their pre-installation technical visit led to an
even better final plan. The installation teams were
friendly and efficient. A couple of glitches were
responded to promptly and well so their warranties
are to be trusted. It is too soon to know how the systems perform long term but I am so far very satisfied.

After a long delay from the original instal date( thanks to the orange one) the components arrived. wayne and his team turned up mob handed to get the job done as quickly and as efficiently as they could. for the most part they cleaned up after themselves. the handover and commissioning was seamless and every thing is running smoothly

Having used Sustain 2 years ago to install solar PV, battery storage and a charging point they were the obvious choice to install my air source heat pump. Most rooms needed new rads and there was no avoiding the upheaval but the guys did a great job and minimised the trauma! It’s good to have the same company to be able to answer questions about how the two systems integrate for maximum efficiency and economy. Sustain are not the cheapest but I have no regrets and would recommend them without hesitation.

Had a replacement ashp installed by Ryan and Dan. Cant fault them in any way. Fantastic work ethic, polite, friendly, happy to explain anything I was unsure of. A real credit to this company. All work completed to a high standard and super neat and tidy. Would highly recommend

Sustain installed an air source heat pump to replace our gas boiler. They were very pleasant and answered all my queries, explaining so I could understand. They worked quickly and efficiently, and tidied up well at the end. We are very pleased with the installation.

We were extremely pleased with the heat pump installation carried out by sustain. They provided a very professional service from start to finish in our very old cottage. The engineers were very hardworking and overcame minor challenges quickly. We were informed of the next steps throughout the installation. They left the house tidy at the end of each day. What a pleasure it was dealing with Sustain. From initial contact, through the energy survey, technical design, installation walk through and finally the installation and commissioning of the Air Source Heat Pump itself; the whole team presented a truly professional and friendly approach.

The quality of installation of my air source heat pump was very good, and Sustain Heating were responsive to my requests (mainly to ensure that pipework was as invisible as possible). They were quick to reply by email and easy to reach by phone. The time between first contact and completion of the work was short. Good value for the quality of the work. Highly recommended.

Arrived on time and worked hard to install my heat pump. All of the plumbing is very neat and it all works as expected. They also managed to include my existing Solar Thermal panels. They replaced everything except the panels and I now have a warranty that covers the whole system. The lads could not have been more helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending them

Sustain renewables fitted anti freeze valves & some additional insulation to our existing ASHP system.

In our experience, good companies like Sustain,that fully understand renewable heating technology are not that easy to find.
The bonus for us is that Sustain is in close proximity to our home.

We had an air source heat pump installed but Sustain Heating including upgrades to the radiators and a hot water tank. Very professional team of engineers and staff. Could not fault the work, the response to queries and very pleased with the end result. Everything done to schedule and completed on time. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends, family or anyone wanting a sustainable heating system.

Well I am sorry to say to start with sustain was good. But now they seem to have lost there way. 5 years ago they put our solar panels on our roof and a battery in our loft. They another battery in some months ago. But since then the circuit breaker buy our trips 2 to3 x week. Sustain heating are not interested even though it’s under guarantee. I don’t know how they expect to keep the business going like that.

Sustain Heating have been easy to deal from the start, installation was completed to plan, special call out to the electrician who completed the work with great care and knowing we had a deadline ahead of going on holiday. Dan was easy to contact and kept me up to date on the installation.
Panels have been up for around six weeks now, an despite autumn/winter weather, have performed well.
Solis app is useful, but agree with some other comments, the graphs are hard to see but give a good overview.

The operatives ability to work around a difficult situation at home. The knowledge base of the operatives. The explanations of what was being carried out. The overall very professional attitude.

We first met Sustain at the Malvern Show in early May 2024. It took a little time for them to follow up (they were obviously busy!) but when they did, we were impressed by the whole pre-purchase-decision experience.
The whole installation team were very professional and polite, clearly taking pride in their work (the pipework in the loft is a work of art). They went out of their way to deliver a worry-free installation, including little extra touches like moving an outside tap and fitting an interior shut off tap to the external water supply because the ASHP position made it slightly difficult to get at outside. They were also amazingly tidy.
As with all new systems, it is taking a little time to get used to but that's not the fault of the installer! My one negative observation is their invoicing system is confusing. The office staff know this and do their best to work round it.
We had a really good experience with Sustain and would have no hesitation in recommending them.
