From the initial contact with Green Team One, through to the installation and final handover, the team have been both friendly and efficient. All dates were met and the whole process has been trouble free. We have been almost fully self sufficient for electricity since we had this work done.

We decided to invest in solar panels, battery storage, EV charger and an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP), and approached a number of local companies for quotes. From the start of this process, Green Team One were very professional, with Rob spending a couple of hours at our home to go through our options and what our likely rate of return could be. As Green Team One were the only company out of the initial group we contacted that could also supply and install the ASHP in-house, we also had a visit from Bryan to carry out the heat loss survey. Again, this was very detailed – he listened to our expectations and then explained what our options were.
Once we had received all the quotes, we decided to go with Green Team One – although they were not the cheapest option, we were very impressed with the level of detail provided and that they would be able to handle the entire installation themselves.
A start date was agreed very quickly and clear communication was given as to what we would need to do before the work commenced. The work was split into two phases – with the solar panels, battery, EV charger and ASHP installation being phase 1 while phase 2 consisted of removing the old gas central heating system and replacing it with the new ASHP.
Phase 1 was completed in a day and phase 2 in three days.
We were very impressed with both the quality and the speed of the work. The team were very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had during the process. We were also given enough information at the end of each phase to allow us to use the new systems, with a more in-depth handover session set up for a couple of days later, to allow the system to bed in.
The handover session was also very detailed – with demonstrations on how to set up and monitor the various apps and accounts needed to run and monitor the new devices, checks to ensure that everything was working as intended and time allowed to answer any questions we had.
We have been very impressed with how Green Team One delivered on the whole project and turned what could have been a very stressful process into a very smooth experience. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else that was looking to install a similar set-up.

I contacted Green Team One 2 months ago after a failed Government Solar Grant Application. I decided to go it alone in this minefield of an industry. I found them through a friend’s recommendation. Green Team One came over for a recce. I got a very good quote. They continued to answer my tough questions regarding the horror stories I’d heard about bogus companies, equipment and installations. They installed the system and supported me through the whole process. They were quick, efficient and professional. They are continuing to support me all the way to my new Octopus Energy solar tariff choices. Rarely have I felt so comfortable and supported by a company but Green Team One are true professionals with a team of experience and enthusiastic Engineers, technologists, roofers, contract scaffolders and admin. They are superb to deal with. They get 5 stars from me without doubt!

Came upon Green Team One when we were looking for a 'local' company, to compare to the 'national' companies to give us a quote for Solar + Battery when Octopus wouldn't as we were 'too difficult'. We spoke on the 'phone to Rob and he gave us a competitive quote and offered a more 'personal' service. I opted for them, because of the friendliness of the team and their efforts to go 'above and beyond' the service of the 'nationals', whilst matching their prices. We were very surprised that they were almost as quick as the national companies. We arranged an installation date for November, but unfortunately Storm Claudia showed up some problems with our roof, but the scaffolding was erected and the team came to install the battery and inspect the roof to check if it was possible to install the solar panels. The battery was installed, but Ryan thought it would be better to fix the roof to ensure we had no problems at a later date. Rob said he would get their roofer, Dan, to come and inspect whilst we were away on holiday and then fix it, which he did. Fortunately it was a (fairly) cheap fix. and the scaffolding was kept in place. However, Ryan turned up just before Christmas and was an 'absolute star', mounting all the panels in heavy rain, so that the system could be installed before Christmas. and the scaffolding removed. Service beyond expectations. We've since had a personal handover from Rob and always had prompt response to our many questions. Currently we're saving 50%+ on our electricity bill and fully expect to be cost neutral, or better, by the spring/summer. Have recommended Green Team One to some of our neighbours, who are also thinking of installing/upgrading Solar and have been impressed by them during the installation.

I had my solar panels, inverter, battery system and EV charger installed by Green Team One and I couldn’t be happier with the service. From the initial consultation through to installation, the team were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. The installation itself was completed efficiently and to a high standard, with everything clearly explained along the way. All team members from Debs and Terri in the office to Ryan and Nigel the roofers but especially Brindley the electrician. Green Team One installed a solar system and battery at our property in Cheltenham. They were helpful, communicative and professional from first quote to the follow-up meeting to check we were happy with the work. There was no hard sell, they just gave us the information we asked for, answered all follow up questions and left us to consider the quote in our own time. The scaffolding went up when they said, and the roofers and electricians arrived at around 830am on install day and were finished by around 230pm. Very pleased with both the system they fitted and their professionalism.

From the first appointment with Rob to final commisioning and handover the team were fantastic. I had 5 quotes from various suppliers but Green Team One listened to what I wanted explained all the equipment options and we agreed on a system that was as non Chinese as is possible and integrated with Octopus and our Zappi car charger. Even in December I have noticed that my electricity bill has reduced by 35%. Green Team One were the second cheapest but what they offered was superb value for money. Strongly recommended

Green Team One took the time to accurately assess the roof pitch and the designer Mat measured with a tape. This was the only installer we approached provided this degree of attention, others used satellite images or made basic errors in arithmetic or assumed roof pitch. Panel installation was smooth and look great. Well done for going the extra mile

At our first F2F meeting with the advisor/consultant from GTO our options were explained clearly. Allan showed us how the panels will connect to the battery and from there to the national grid. A design proposal was constructed on his laptop there and then, together with quote for the job. We proceeded. On Day 1, electricians installed the 9.5 KW battery plus invertor in the garage. Roofer discovered some damage to our roof so could not fit panels. GTO organised roof repair for us, which was performed to a high standard. Subsequently, another roofer returned to fit the panels over the weekend. Excellent service and support throughout. Allan returned to 'sign off' the job on a Sunday. Director Robert very helpful. Excellent VFM.

This team did a very professional job of installing a 15-panel solar array + inverter + battery which has worked flawlessly from the day they installed it (writing this 3 mo. later). Allan did a good initial survey with helpful suggestions regarding the layout, then a few weeks later, the installation team did a great job over one full day. The paperwork was provided very quickly and I was being reimbursed by Octopus for my exported electricity after just 2 weeks. Highly recommended.

We decided to try it with solar panels, after having quite a long time of hesitation and research. I have spoken with a lot of salespeople trying to sell all kind of things most of them not proper to our needs, presenting out of the blue figures (I happens to have a strong background in designing algorithms for combined solar systems). Allan from GreenTeamOne was helpful and honest presenting us a system fit for purpose. The Electricians and roofers were friendly and efficient; the installation went nice and smoothly; the installation happened in Bristol, end of June 2025. But now problems appear.
Problem no1: while removing the scaffolding, the guttering was snapped (nothin serious but annoying when it rains). The problem was moved several times between the Green Team One and the scaffolding company with the conclusion that Green Team One will fix it. The Green Team One sent a “specialist”: one to have a look, second, he did not appear, third to discover he cannot climb on the ladder. Finally, at the fourth attempt with a mini scaffolding, he managed to apply a patch. But the disaster stroke again: when the dismantled the scaffolding, thy managed to break the security light – I must replace it now and ask for reimbursement. So finally, after 3 months we managed to fix a trivial problem with a diy solution and just £30 damage
Problem no2: You would expect to have all the document and be able to apply for an export MPAN in about 2-3 weeks after the installation concluded, as advertised by Allan – bad luck here too – we got the documents end of September too – it may be the DNO, but seems the bad luck sits with the same client.
In conclusion, two stars for the good installation, the missing stars is for missing documents and after care.
