An excellent company. Had a full solar system fitted by them earlier this year and it is already paying dividends! Pricing was very competitive; standard of work during the fit was outstanding (super clean and tidy); and customer service has been excellent throughout. Recently had a couple of minor niggles with one of my existing RCD fuses being tripped by the new system and they came out at no-notice and replaced it for free. Need I say more...

I first met Tony in early 2020 when he came with his engineer to look at the Heat Pump at my house which was causing me problems due to not being fitted properly by another company. Within 5 minutes they had diagnosed the problem and come up with some cost-effective solutions to solve it.

We then used Sustain for a barn conversion. They fitted the underfloor heating and heat pump. The system works brilliantly and is so efficient to run.

I would definitely recommend Sustain. You will get good advice, there is no hard sell, and the workmanship is efficient and high quality.

I can't rave enough about this company. They have done our air source heat pump and we have paid the deposit for solar panels. Every step of the way communication and customer service have been great. Any concerns, issues, etc. They respond right away. Did fantastic work and really just an all around great company. Even moved out install up a few weeks because they knew we didn't have any heat and did the whole thing incredibly quickly.

Sustain Heating and Renewables have supplied and replaced an old heatpump at my house. The whole process has been excellent from initial phone enquiry to final installation. All members of the team had excellent knowledge. I was kept well informed at all times and any questions were answered by promptly. If you're thinking of installing any renewables give Sustain a call, you will not be disappointed.

This is only a preliminary review, since I won't know how well the system works until I find out how warm we will be this winter and how much our electricity bill will be. Once I know, I will write another final review.
The installation of a Vaillant Arotherm air source heat pump, four new radiators and 250L cylinder was very good. The engineers, plumbers and electrician were friendly, courteous and considerate and the standard of workmanship was excellent.
After sales technical service was excellent; my calls and emails were answered promptly and the engineers arrived quickly to fix a few teething problems we had with the installation.
I have also found the office reception and administration staff friendy,efficient and helpful.

Sustain Heating installed an Air source heat pump system for us top provide heating and hot water in our home, which is an old stone farm building.
They provided an excellent service in every way. This included: A detailed estimate and prompt replies to queries
A pre installation visit when all key issues were agreed such as location for all elements of the system, routing of pipework etc. Detailed decisions were discussed when appropriate as the work progressed
The installation was done by a team who knew each other well and worked to a coordination plan.
Tools were put away and the house left tidy and clean at the end of each days' work

After my initial enquiry about having solar panels and a battery, everything went very smoothly, Tony was so very helpful assuring everything will go like clockwork. True to his word it did, Richard also was very helpful making sure the scaffolding came down fairly quickly after the completion of the job. The team of lads the company used on each area of the installation was second to none. I can't fault them they were polite, did excellent work and left the areas of work immaculate it didn't look if anyone had been working in the house.

Sustain did a great job. Their staff were highly skilled and pleasant to work with. We advised them we needed more communication about what was happening when. But they were trustworthy and did what they promised.

I first contacted Sustain last October and from the first conversation I had a great feeling of confidence in their knowledge of my requirements and the reliability of their services. I have not been disappointed.
The climate crisis and the rocketing cost of gas have contributed to my decision to convert from gas central heating to an electrically run heat pump system. Sustain have both provided this efficiently and been a constant source of help and information along the way. Heat pumps are quite expensive and at the beginning of my enquiries they pulled no punches. I had an upfront breakdown of costs, and information about the heat loss survey and energy performance check that would be required as well as much help in sourcing Government funding which over the next 4 years will pay for over half of my new system.
As soon as I decided to go ahead I was given a rough date for installation as mid-February, but in spite of the pressures the heating industry is under, this was brought forward to 24th January. In just over two days my heat pump was installed with all the new radiators and was up and running most efficiently. Since then Sustain have also installed a storage battery which is charged on a cheaper night time tariff and also makes much more use of power from the solar panels I’ve had for a few years.
All in all I cannot recommend Sustain more highly, for all the help and information I had before I decided on my new system, for the efficient installation of heat pump, new radiators and storage battery, and for their after sales service which became vital when part of my new battery kit proved faulty and after a period of visits to discover where the problem was, was replaced for me.

We had been thinking about having an air source heat pump installed for some time and once we had seen one in action at a friends’ house, we decided to get on with it. Going by reviews of local, specialist companies, Sustain Heating and Renewables really stood out and we weren’t disappointed – excellent service from start to finish, with home visits to explain what would be involved, through to the installation itself. Sustain also arranges all the necessary checks and documents which was very reassuring and made the whole process simple and straightforward.
Our installers did a great job, explaining what would be happening on a day to day basis; doing their best to inconvenience us as little as possible (we were never without hot water or heating when we needed them); keeping our house in a tidy state while they worked; and listening to our specific requirements, making small changes when requested. We live in a typical early C20 terraced house but our initial doubts about where the heat pump would be sited and how the new system would link to existing pipework were all dealt with in a most professional and reassuring way.
We love our new system – responsive, simple to use, providing us with a warm house, masses of hot water and satisfaction of knowing we are using less energy. Now that we’ve had our gas boiler removed, we have also made the decision to go electric for our oven and hob and have our gas meter removed - meaning we won’t be paying a standing charge for gas, so another saving. If you are considering switching to sustainable heating, we strongly recommend that you approach Sustain for information and a quotation. If our experience is anything to go by, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a very good company that knows what it's doing and goes the extra mile. The job was to replace our oil fired central heating/hot water system with two air source heat pumps. Being a large, Georgian house there were aesthetic as well as practical considerations and we felt we were well guided throughout. We are pleased with the end result and our new air source heating/hot water system is all working perfectly. We are glad, too, to have stopped burning fossil fuels.

Back in June of this year my wife and I had an air source heat pump system with radiators throughout our home and a thermostat to control the heat in each room. I must say that everyone I've dealt with at Sustain Heating have been thoroughly professional and informative throughout the process.

The installers were very friendly and did all they could to minimise disruption whilst my wife and I were working from home. Minimal cosmetic marking was left behind after they had finished too which must've been very difficult to achieve.

Now we are well into winter we have had a chance to really judge the heating system and I have to say that our home is lovely and warm and loving the fact that we can now dictate where and when the heating kicks in, not like before with our old night storage heaters that Sustain disposed of for us as part of their service.

With the Government Grant scheme we will get a large chunk of what we paid for the system back in instalments (the first of which we received a few months back).

I personally believe that green, renewable heating has to be the future and I would recommend Sustain to anyone who wants an efficient heating system which at the same time does no harm to the environment and will save you money in the long run.
