My Roadster V3 arrived on time and in good condition. I had a hard time deciding between the belt drive and gears version but opted for gears. The bike is relatively light at 43 lbs.
The pedal assist works well but the throttle was not working. Tech support was very responsive and quickly sent a new cable and controller.
The bike is comfortable and rides nicely.

Great bike but had immediate issues with the rear brake not working and a flat tire less than 3 months after purchase. Ok instructions on set. Now that the bugs are worked out the bike is really nice to ride.

I am a happy owner of Ride1Up Revv1DRT. I can’t say enough great things about this E bike. First off, it looks so bad ass! Second, it’s built like a tank. The build quality is outstanding. And for what you get, it’s a steal at this price point. If you’re considering getting one, all I can say is do it. You will not regret it. I live in the northeast, so unfortunately, there’s still a lot of snow in the ground and the temperature is very cold so I’m unable to enjoy riding my E bike. I cannot wait till the snow melts and it gets warmer so I can enjoy riding my E bike again. I encourage you to invest in one. I have no doubt that you will be glad that you did. And you will have many many many hours of enjoyment writing this incredible E bike.

We ordered 2 bikes, Roadster V3s, one is the Low-Step and one the chain version. My first eBike, I really like my Roadster V3, the pedal assist is so cool, as well as the throttle. (I'm a road cyclist, but love taking the slower route, rides with my wife and friends). I Love the bikes, but the wife's(Low-Step) was not low enough for her. She's not a real confident cyclist, she didn't like that the Low-Step was not Low enough. So we went thru the process of returning hers. Thru it all, Customer Service was great, responsive and helpful. (also, I had ordered the rear rack for mine, and it didn't fit correctly, needed 2 longer screws - they agreed and sent them right out to me. Apparently this rack fit on the previous V2 version, but not the V3. Got it all worked out). The bike itself really takes off, and I like that it really doesn't 'look' like an eBike - the battery does not give it away.

We have truly enjoyed our first ebike experience riding our Portolas. Ebikes certainly require more maintenance so it's helpful to be mechanically inclined. But we get so much in return. And given the 7" difference in our heights, we are very impressed with how comfortable each of us is while riding.

Fair price, well built bikes, simple and clear instructions and videos. No pushy marketing or excessive hype.

I’ve had my racer1 bike for a bit less than 2 years and I absolutely love it. It’s light so I can ride it totally on my own and if I’m going with my husband we can go at the same pace. I’ve gone as far as 44 miles and about 2,000 ft of climbing and still have half the battery left. That would be using assist 1 or 2. Very little on others unless there’s a super steep hill. I weigh 120lbs. The only complaints are that you can’t remove the back wheel, it’s attached by a short cable which makes changing a tube very difficult. And also the fact that is shrader. My husband change it to tubular to make it easier. And also the fact that they don’t make smaller sizes, I’m barely fitting into the small size. I’m 5’3” and I’m a bit stretched.

Nice bike folds up and goes in the back of the car, I got the one with the larger battery but have not needed it so far but is nuice to have.

Hard tail bike is super fun to ride. Easily seats 2 with the passenger kit.

I own a Ride1Up Rift and Ride1Up Portola. Both have been a pleasure to ride with only 1 small issue which Ride1Up responded quickly too. Really great products from Ride1Up!

There was a shipping problem and Ride 1 straightened it out ,no hassle

Our 13 year old has been riding his DRT since last July. It's amazing. So fun. One of his brake levers broke as a result of a kickstand mis-application (he didn't put it down fully). We live in an area where shipping is challenging, so a quick email communication with support and they were able to ship UPS no problem! This crew is super helpful, and have been incredible every step of the way.

The Ride1Up Portola is a very well made e-bike, I especially appreciate the super low and generous step through, it makes getting on and off super easy. The bike was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you!

Fantastic buying experience in the San Diego shop. The Portola was already assembled and I had previously test rode it on another visit. On purchase day the store associate showed me the basics of the bike and how it worked. I was in and out of the store with my new Portola in 15 minutes!

This has been a truly awesome experience. The bike was easy to build, and I have had so much fun cooking around on it.

Great company and ebikes! I’ve purchased 2 bikes from them. The Roadster V3 and the Revv1 HT. Both are super fun and really well made. The Connect+ accessories have also worked great and are the easiest way to swap out accessories like the pet carrier and passenger kit.

If you’re interested in a e-bike the best thing you can do is buy from a local dealer of a well known brand. These bikes are cheap and your local bike shop won’t touch them. Ride1 up customer service and there’re tech service dept are totally useless. You’re better off buying from Amazon or Walmart. Good luck in your search but stay away from these cheap china made bikes

Worst customer service ever!

DO NOT PURCHASE E-BIKE FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT OR HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES!

I ordered and received a REVV1 FS e-bike about 10 and 1/2 months later it started having electrical problems & throttling on its own and became completely unsafe to ride. Customer service tried to direct me to buy certain parts to fix it, once I inform them it was still under the 12-month warranty they changed their view on it and said they couldn't send me parts to fix it because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Even though they already told me to purchase a controller and a cadence sensor which would cost approximately $200. They then asked for video of the way the bike operated. I sent them numerous videos of the bike and the way it operated and they still claim they could not figure out what was wrong with my bike to warranty any parts to fix it. Over 60 emails including videos back and forth n still nothing they could figure out to fix the issue. It wasn't till after contacting and making a report with Better Business Bureau that they figure it out what part needed to be sent out to fix the bike. This part was only $60 on their website and it's unbelievable that they would fight so hard to not send such a cheap part.

I ordered two Turris bikes last year and I have just 100 miles on them. One battery is fine but the battery on the other bike stopped working. One of the reasons I bought a bike from Ride1Up is that there are a lot of good reviews for customer service. When I contacted Ride1Up they said that the issue is probably a blown fuse inside the battery and this is not repairable by customers. I live in British Columbia Canada and the closest repair facilities are in California and Nevada. With only 100 miles on the battery this is a huge disappointment, and speaks to the quality control. I hope the other battery is a good one, but right now it is kind of sad to have one battery for two bikes. Not satisfied with customer service, because when I received the bike I also reported a bent rear derailleur hanger. Ride1Up says it has no record of my report though I have email proof. Again, disappointed. In hindsight, I should have gone with a RAD bike since they are based closer to me in Seattle and they have local store in Vancouver, Canada.

Slightly iffy quality control is made up for by good value and customer service. I've had three different Ride1UP bikes now. The first two went totally smoothly, but my new Vorsa had an 'error 30' after assembling it. This can be a bit scary in the world of DTC ebikes, but their support was able to send out a replacement controller and then a replacement screen that ended up fixing the issue. They were also helpful in the past when I needed an out-of-stock replacement part for my Prodigy V1.

Would've been nice if my new Vorsa had worked perfectly out of the box, but their support was super helpful in getting out replacement parts with no fuss, and the bike is great (and great value) now that it's working. And I have a spare controller now lol.
