The Portola is a quality built bike with plenty of power and lots of fun.

I have bought two Roadster V3 bikes. Love them both - one for me and one for my daughter. We now can ride the trails togehter and enjoy the ride as well.

Ride1Up is giving people two added entries on their giveaway for a screenshot of of a review on trustpilot! Which means any of these reviews given can not be trusted at least from January 21, 2026 to February 21, 2026. Also how can you trust a company that incentivizes fake reviews?

I love the quality and the look of their products! There is something about it that makes it stand out.

We have three of their bikes (Turris) in our immediate family, with three more belonging to other family members (Turris, Vorsa). They're all great bikes. We use them primarily for multi-day bikepacking trips, from spring to fall. They've performed wonderfully in this role. Any time we've (rarely) had an issue, it's been taken care of promptly.

I've assembled most of the bikes, or at least assisted in the assembly of the ones we and other family members own. Never had any parts missing or any major issues with any of the six of them. Assembly is not difficult, there are good videos out there if one needs more assistance than the included instructions provide. This is one way you get the better performing specs at a cheaper price than most others.

The wife and I, after the many adventures over the past few years we've had on our Turris models, are about to upgrade to the Vorsas. Just no other bikes as capable, along with the options (like both torque and cadence sensors) at this price point.

Ride1up CF-Racer1 gravel as a commuter bike
I bought a Ride1Up CF, gravel, for bike commuting, about 12 miles each way, twice a week. Rain or Shine.
I only have good things to say. I have well over 1000 miles of commuting, I love the electric power for the few sections with a lot of traffic, where I want to spend as little time as possible. The bike is light enough to bring on the train.
In short I have yet to have a single problem with it.
After 24 miles at level 2 (and about 2-3 miles at levels 3 or 4), I typically still have 40% left.
When commuting in 15-20f weather, the range is reduced and I finish with the battery indicator on red (about 10% left?). Great bike!

though i haven’t road very many e-bikes i can say from what i have my 500 series 1up e-bike hands down best over all experience in my experiences on e-bikes. i got it used non working order. it had been in a pretty severe accident and was to say the least not taken care of in the slightest. took a bit of research and hands on with it but it rides now. definitely worth my time and efforts and price paid for the bike.

We love Ride1Up and have had excellent results. Excellent engineering, equipment, design and response to questions. We have the CF Racer 1 (Black), the Roadster V3 low-step (Mint), and the Trailrush (Burnt Sunset). No issues. My wife love the lightweight Roadster V3. Personally, I can't say enough good about the CF R1 and the Trailrush.

I purchased my Roadster V3 Suspension on line and it was delivered within six days as promised. Great communication on order and delivery status and follow up. The bike was delivered in a well designed, heavy card board box that perfectly protected the bike components and finish. I watched the assembly videos on U-Tube several times and carefully cut the cardboard to find the bike and all components wrapped in protective plastic. The rear wheel and bike frame are shipped in one piece and the only assembly required is the front fender, front wheel, handlebars, seat and pedals. The included tools and make the process easy. The illustrated instructions are easy to follow. I put air in the tubes/tires and charged the battery for two hours before a test ride and after some minor adjustments was on my way. I am impressed with the powder coat paint on the Roadster and the smooth welds on the frame. There were no loose wheel spokes and the brakes were correctly aligned. I replaced the bike seat with a gel type and added a water bottle cage. The handle bar has a slight double bend and the grips are supportive. The bike has an adjustable handle bar stem which I really appreciate. The rear gear shifter works smoothly and the bike shifts the electric motor smoothly and with little delay. The LED controller is intuitive and easy to use. It's color display is easy to see in bright sunlight. The bike is light and is as easy to ride as my Trek. Hills that were a problem are now easy. The battery is easy to remove and charges in a few hours. I am getting over 40 miles between charges at 75-80% useage. Lastly, I like the throttle. I use it for extra boost in starting from a stop and to accelerate across busy intersections. The electric motor is easy on my knees and will extend my biking for many years.

I can't praise this company is enough. The bike is amazing, the customer service is amazing. I got the Roadster 3 about 6 months ago, and this bike exceeded my expectations in every way. I commute to work in the city and every ride is full of joy thanks to this thing.

I have owned a Portola for myself and my wife for over the last year. I have almost 1000 miles on my bike and my wife has almost 700 miles on her bike. These bikes are very very reliable. I have only had to oil the chains and add air to the tires over the last year. The tires still have a lot of ware left. I have configured my bike for 10 PAS level and mostly keep the bike in PAS level 1 because the bike is so easy to ride. I typically get a ride distance of over 70 miles with the larger battery.

My roadster V3 has operated perfectly since I assembled it. I am a very experienced cyclist who still enjoys riding, but now I am now 77 and have an autoimmune disease. My roadster V3 has enabled me to ride further than I formerly did, and also when I do not feel great at the beginning of the ride. The low pressure tires and the nice components are just perfect for riding frequently. I rode 400 miles during the first two months.

Ride1Up makes really great bikes at unbeatable prices. My CF Racer 1 arrived quickly my door in great condition. I ended up having a few customer support questions and Thomas in San Diego responded to me the same day with answers. My dad is buying an E-Bike soon and I’m having him order it from Ride 1UP!

I am extremely impressed with the high level of technical support and customer service that Ride1Up staff consistently provide. Ride1Up stands by their products and that is evident by the way they carefully and thoughtfully guide you through a question or issue. I really appreciate that level of support in a company and it build confidence in the products I purchased from them.

Delightful bicycle. Easy assembly with only a flat tire as an imperfection. Quick and pleasant response to technical questions. Gives a nice extra boost to keep up on group rides.

My bike has been non operational for the majority of the 6 months that I have owned it. The piece of junk quit working just after the months that purchased it and they won’t refund it for one that works.
Instead they have me chasing an electric issues that has me waiting on parts. Won’t purchase another product from them and highly advise no one else to.
Worst BIKE EVER!

The bike came on time, in fact a little earlier than expected, pack very well with no problems or issues. I’ve now owned the bike for about eight months and over a thousand miles with no problems. Literally the best bike I’ve ever have ever owned.

We bought our first Ride1Up 700 in 2022 and loved it so much we just bought a new Portola. Ride1Up's bikes are top notch quality and their US based phone and email support, parts dept, and pre-sales team have all been incredible to wok with. Definitely a 5-star company!!

Bought a Vorsa last year, so far so good. The battery is great, I've gotten 50-60 miles out of mine easily (on fairly flat terrain though) when starting at 100% charge.

First thing to know, the front shock is absolutely not sufficient for hard use, which they do point out -- this is no MTB.

Controls are solid, easy to read/see, brakes work well. It's heavy, so if you are going to be regularly carrying your e-bike up stairs, maybe consider a lighter model.

The tires it came with were sub-par in every way. The sidewalls were so thin that the tire was practically coming off the rim on hard turns. I swapped them out for Maxxis Hookworms and it rides like a different bike after the upgrade.

For the price, I do think this bike delivers a lot of features and I have no regrets buying it.
