What a useless company I will not be using them again. They’re impossible to get hold of and your item will turn up really really late (I haven’t even got mine yet and by reading the reviews I’m going to assume I’m going to be waiting another 8weeks for a heat mat that should of took 3-5 days. Oh yeah and they won’t get back to you on email what a waste of time

Awful... do not use under any circumstance very unprofessional. Great difficulty getting in touch with them.

The glass of the viv had to be inserted mid way in the build because it physically wouldn’t fit it with the viv built up

Also the viv arrived after 8 weeks double the time they state and was left outside in the rain with no knock at the door telling me it had arrived

The woodwork is good but unfortunately that is where it ends.
Delivery was fine and as advertised.
The customer service however is absolutely appalling. The advertising is deliberately misleading and has been worded to try and deliberately avoid claims even thought they are still valid. The heating units are completely inadequate, no instructions what so ever were provided, nor when they were asked for, just panels of wood and boxes of parts and overall the 'ready to use' system is completely inadequate and not up to current husbandry standards.

After questioning this with the company communication was very slow and once received was hostile and aggressive.

We are buying the rest of our equipment elsewhere. Very unimpressed.

The vivarium i received is amazing and will be ordering another one soon but gonna leave it 6 weeks before I need it as the courier they use is not the best but to know fault of their own

I have placed multiple orders with Pro-Vivs and would not go else where. Great selection which is growing every year, and the quality for price is exceptional. They work very hard and always deliver.

Without a doubt the best place in hull I've found for frozen reptile food plus the cheapest especially if buying in bulk

Easy ordering process. I contacted them via facebook messenger and got an estimated dispatch date.
True, the delivery company wasn't the best - but this is nothing to do with Pro Vivs.

I was also a bit sceptical when the units I ordered (vivarium + cabinet) came without instructions but honestly they are so easy to put together.
I will definitely be ordering from this company again.

As a very happy customer I wanted to write about it as people often review when their experience is bad.
The ordering process was easy, despite second lockdown, Xmas and new year my viv still arrived in the time frame.
It was super easy to assemble. If you have build Ikea stuff this is child’s play!
The vivarium is of excellent quality. We mounted ours on a kallax unit we had and to be honest we are over the moon!
And on top the company is British and the prices are very competitive.
If I could give 6 stars I would!

Terrible courier company... please use a better known courier as they are bad enough to make people shop elsewhere next time!
The order didnt turn when it should, the courier sent no communication to update, at all. The courier driver tracker didnt work, theres no phone number you can ring, the live chat didnt work. Just useless.

I also agree with the other review, there is an issue with the top glass runner relying purely on sticky tape to keep it attached.
I was awoken at 3am the first night by a crash of both glass doors falling out to the floor! The tape is not enough to keep the runner attached to the roof!
Please put a line of strong adhesive/sealant along the runner with the tape.
If i hadnt heard this in the middle of the night i would have an escaped animal... not good

Ordered our viv and cabinet before second lockdown was announced so was a bit concerned about the delivery. I had no reason to worry!
Ordering was easy,prices are fantastic for the quality, correspondence was great when I made enquiries even after point of sale and delivery came the day after it was booked in.
I wasn't asked to sign for my delivery but there were no issues. Everything is well packed, the use of ofcuts to protect was a major plus. Extremely easy to build, no need for instructions but if you're struggling there is a very simply video on their Facebook page.
Quality is second to none, no issues with any missing parts. We can't wait to order again!
If you're looking through the reviews please don't be put off from purchasing due to courier and covid issues, remember that consumers rarely speak out when they are happy, more so when there are issues. The company came highly recommended to me in multiple groups and forums I use and they work flat out to get their great quality products out in perfect condition.

My 2-4 week deliver took over 5 with no contact until I emailed them i was told it would be shipped the next day and I would get a email with shipping info 4 days later I email them again to be told.it was the courier who had told the they were to busy it pro viv still did not up date me as the customer finally it arrived built al went well enough u told 5 days later when the top rail holding the glass in comes unstuck and I find the glass doors on the floor excuses on asking for instructions are pointless when if they are needed you would expect instruction in the box as it is it double sided sticky tape how much instruction do you need ? Just poor

Absolutely fantastic place. Great, honest customer service, no hard selling. Talks to you honestly about their products and delivery times so you always know where you stand with them. Prices are un matched, you won't find better priced vivs for the same quality; Ive paid twice the price for vivs in the past that have warped / bent in less than a year.

Can not fault Steve at all! Got 8 custom made vivs off him every single one superb quality! Would highly recommend pro vivs

What a fantastic vivarium, made to measure that fits perfectly on my Son’s unit, I highly recommend Provivs, excellent service & went above & beyond all expectations, getting the vivarium built in the small time frame that we had as our leopard gecko was reserved for a small time only, Steve your an absolutely credit, so patient & very knowledgeable guy who had so much time for my Son going through everything & even getting the set up for heat & UV ready for him as my Son was a little anxious about getting it right for his leopard gecko, your time & patience with him I cannot put into words how grateful I am, thank you so much.

I ordered the 3ft Viv for my Avicularia Versicolour tarantulas as they are arboreal, I needed height more than length. Excellent workmanship and super quick delivery. Answered all my questions promptly.. Will use again when I need another one.

Ordered a 6 foot viv that came damaged. It took several emails to get them to respond to me, after sales customer care is shocking. I wouild give them zero stars if possible. I eventually replaced the broken panels myself.

I also noticed their dubious habit of trying to discredit negative reviews, when all of them mention the same issues. Tells you all you need to know.

Avoid this company at all costs. The vivarium came damaged and is made of inferior materials. I would have been better off going to B&Q and doing it all myself, which is what I ended up doing with some components, they were so badly damaged.

Correspondence is also ignored, with only the threat of taking the matter further actually motivating them to respond to me. Look through the negative reviews - all mention damaged parts or ignoring emails - so we're all lying are we Pro Vivs? Also note the interesting tactic of trying to claim negative reviews are 'fake'.

I am not going to provide you with my order number. I have had my fill of your company and want nothing more to do with you.

EDIT: Pro Vivs immediately asked for my reference number. Like I said, I want nothing more to do with your awful company. I have left this bad review in light of the awful customer service your company provides. Accept this, change your practices and improve.
