The initial process was really easy
The initial process was really easy. I was offered a great price for my car...much better than the other place we've heard of! The guy that phoned me was really helpful and booked in a time for me to drop it down and to complete the checks on the car and the transaction which should take 30-45 minutes....HOWEVER....I got there at the arranged time and despite having everything ready, being there on time and being the first appointment of the day, the whole process took nearly two hours!!! I had arranged a lift so they were waiting over an hour for me and I was late to an appointment.
What I will say is that when they finally sorted themselves out, the process was quick and efficient. Ben was helpful and polite and apologetic for the delay. The car was as described so there was no trying to haggle me down. It's just the delay and lack of communication about it that really annoyed me.
It wouldn't stop me using them again or recommending them, I would just be more aware that it could take much much longe than stated.

Never heard of this company until I did…
Never heard of this company until I did some research last week tbh, but glad I did. Offered a better price than its competitors, customer service was quick and clear (Ben), and collection was also rapid the following day. Driver (Deshane) was excellent - there was some negotiation over the final price for which he had to be the middle man, but I expected that and negotiations were handled with courtesy. Money was then transferred over to me within minutes. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Really good price offered
Really good price offered. Assistant on the phone was really good, as with all these trade in companies if your honest with them they won’t surprise you with huge price drops on collection. Sometimes they try and chip off for no reason but this was not the case with Motormoolah. Price offered online and on the phone was the same and very happy with it. Photo and documents were easy to upload on the portal and the person that collected was fantastic. Sorted out the finance. Short drive and then he took the car. Very polite and kept me up to speed with what was happening the whole time.

It was so easy and simply I really wasn't expecting it! I kept thinking at last minute they will change the goal posts but they didn't it was just simple! Transport guy was brilliant too explaining what happens and nothing felt rushed at all! First time doing this but will certainly be doing it again!!

Great Service From Start To Finish
Great service from start to finish. MotorMoolah kept me updated the whole way through, and Connor from Onyx was brilliant to deal with. The entire process was super quick, it only took about 3 days from my first enquiry to the car being collected and the money hitting my bank (which is done before the keys are handed over).
They also offered me around £700 more than any other company I tried, and the amount I received was exactly what they promised, no last-minute changes or hassle. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their car, and I’ll 100% be using them again in the future. Thanks again!

I went to several dealers , who all offered below what my car was worth to sell ...motormoolah gave a really great price above any of the other providers on the market...l dealt with Ben for the sale of my car , Ben was extremely helpful every step of the way , answering all of my querys promptly...he is an asset to the company thanks Ben !!! It was all seamless , the chaps that picked up my vehicle were very helpful..making sure they got to me even though there was a delay due to traffic etc ...they still arrived to fulfil my sale ...they are worth their weight in gold ....l got the full price quoted for my vehicle , money was in bank 1/2 hr later ...highly recommend selling your vehicle to motormoolah , they are a cut above the rest sincerely...

Sh!t show at the f"ck factory
Given my experience with Motormoolah 1 star because there was no less. Arranged to sell my truck - sent photographs of the vehicle and had a guaranteed price back from them saying this is what you will be paid. A bloke turned up from someone called Hilton Garage (presumably who MM were selling the car to for a commission) and he/they weren't aware of the cars condition, MM had not forwarded photos. The bodywork is abit banged up in places. Which i was transparent with MM about from the start. The bloke left, rang his supervisor and forwarded a video of the cars condition. Shortly afterwards the bloke called me and said he had been told to abort the collection as they didnt want the car. I have not heard from MM since. Not blaming the garage, if they knew they wouldn't have proceeded, this was all because of MM and it's such a shame cos the initial sales guy i spoke to seemed OK. Will never use again or recommend.

We’d like to clarify that Motormoolah is a specific buying department of Hilton Garage, the independent purchasing dealer who attended the appointment. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to arrange a price and then have the collection aborted on the day.
When our driver arrived, it became apparent that the vehicle had more extensive damage than had been advertised to us. Unfortunately, the information and images provided to us prior to collection did not reflect the full extent of the bodywork condition. As a result, once we assessed the vehicle in person and shared a video with our buying team, we had no option but to abort the purchase based on the discrepancy.
This decision is never taken lightly. We absolutely understand why this situation feels unfair from your perspective. Had the full condition been accurately conveyed to us beforehand, we would have either adjusted the offer accordingly or avoided arranging the collection altogether — saving you the inconvenience.
We want to reassure you that our driver acted professionally and followed our standard buying process. There was no intention to mislead or waste your time, and we sincerely apologise for the disruption caused.
We genuinely wish you the best with the sale of your truck and are sorry that this experience didn’t reflect the smooth process you were expecting.
