Great room decorated in the traditional Mexican artistic style, but with modern facilities. Right in downtown Tulum.

really nice and central apartment! Everything is within walking distance and should you need a bike, the bike rental is not far. The staff at hiphipstay is super nice and helps immediately with any concerns :)

Nous avons réservé une chambre avec un prix plus élevé pour avoir vu sur la rivière. Au final on s'est retrouvé dans une chambre au rez-de-chaussée, à côté de la porte d'entrée. Pas de vu sur la rivière car la vitre était complètement floutée. Devant la fenêtre, sur le trottoir, se trouvait une plaque en métal mal fixée. A chaque fois qu'une personne marchait sur la plaque, on entendait un bruit insupportable. Vu que nous étions logé au rez-de-chaussée, on entendait le porte d'entrée claquer à chaque fois qu'une personne rentrait ou sortait de l'immeuble. IMPOSSIBLE DE DORMIR SANS BOUCHONS D'OREILLE! La salle de bain était séparée de la chambre par une parois en verre, très esthétique. Mais la lumière dans la salle de bain s'allumait via un capteur de mouvement, et restait allumé pendant 15 minutes. Quand on va aux toilettes en plein milieu de la nuit, la chambre restait donc éclairé pendant 15 minutes. L'HORREUR! Et on garde toujours le pire pour la fin: Une lumière verte (comme un spot au plafond) reste allumé non stop! On ignore toujours sa fonctionnalité. Bref, si vous compter rester dans cet établissement malgré les mauvais avis, n'oubliez surtout pas vos bouchons d'oreille et un masque de sommeil. Nous avons tenté à plusieurs reprises de contacter le propriétaire, Will, mais sans succès. Voici son numéro de téléphone: +353 86 070 2819

Nos encantó, el lugar es súper bonito, cómodo, agradable. El personal amable, respetuoso, agradable. Sin duda regreso nuevamente a hiphip. :)

Difficult to find the door :-) really anonymous. Expectations low, but the room was fantastic, nice clean bathroom, very nice bed and a great view over the river from the top floor. Close to everything. No reception but felt safe to leave the luggage in the care takers warehouse in the basement (surveillance camera covered) will come back!

Nice little place that had everything we needed. Perfect place in the city and will stay there again.

Great experience. The team was responsive and helpful. Only recommended improvement is communication of check in codes sooner. Phillip was very kind and helpful when our code was not working.

No pude escoger mejor lugar para quedarme, todo super limpio y muy hermosa la decoración!! La manera en la que accedes al hotel y a la habitación es muy accesible y mediante códigos, cada trabajador del lugar muy amable y atento y los pequeños detalles como la mesa de ping pong hacen una maravilla el lugar!

Had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. Room was so clean and shower was fantastic. The bed was so comfortable I didnt want to get up. Where its situated is perfect you are a walk away from all amenities.

This is a clean, utility but stylishly laid out room. Very compact but it is a base for going out not staying in - perfect city centre location.

The best value for money we had in our 3 weeks trip and our favorite hotel!
Super helpful and nice receptionist, nice designer rooms, extra large bed and some comun spaces that are cool (ping pong and kitchen)
Best location in the city center zone of Tulum next to bars and restaurants - we had car to go to the beach zone or you can rent a bike

Exactly the experience I needed, cosy on the corner outlooking the river Liffey. Quiet for the spot it’s at! Two min skip to temple bar too. Room was clean and super welcoming, having the experience of checking in was straight forward with all the steps provided for me walk into my room like it’s my own lil apartment ⭐️ And greeted with bottled water and some chocolates, after my long journey this was a perfect simple pleasure to be welcomed to.

Zila is a very kind and helpful host with many tips for trips and food. Always quick to respond when we had further questions. It felt more like staying with a friend than at a hotel.
The room we stayed in was stunning. A chandelier in the bathroom, beautiful tiles all over the place (bathroom, shower, open kitchen) Even though it's a bit noisy at night, I can only highly recommend this place!
