Perfect location and the room was clean and nice. Small room but had everything you needed. The shower was amazing! I felt welcome and the staff were friendly. got some good tips for the city which was very nice

Many flaws: the kitchen lacked basics such as salt, sugar, coffee, or paper napkins. No hot water except in the showers. Water was a major problem; we had no running water from shortly after we arrived till next day (over 12 hours). Signs of neglect all over the place, broken locks, an overgrown young tree bending over the outdoor table, unkept swimming pool, dusty windows, rusty shower heads. The place needs urgent attention.
This said, the place is a magnificent villa tastefully designed, apparently recent, with roofless ensuite bathrooms and attention to detail. The rooms are huge and the beds very comfortable. The house was clean, as were the sheets and towels. Wi-fi worked fine. Great potential for being a luxury accommodation, located in a nice neighbourhood not far from the centre.

We stayed the night as we went to a concert in the 3olympia. This room was in the best location as we were close to every place we wanted to go. The shower was one of the best experiences of my life as it was super hot and had great pressure. The water was a little slow to drain as well as there wasn't any door to stop water splashing onto the floor.

It was a little noisy because our room was facing the river and road. Nothing too bad but just be aware.

This was the worst place we have ever rented before. Upon arrival to the house, within 5 minutes of settling in we received a visit from electricians from the city saying that our electricity is getting cut off and we haven’t paid the bill. After numerous attempts of reaching out to the owners we finally get a response, but they were out of town and couldn’t come help us. After explaining to the electricians that the bill has been paid they reluctantly turned it on, but suggested we leave since it was hooked up illegally and could explode on us. On top of that, the sliding door to our rooms were broken, multiple lights were out in the back. Needless to say we will not be renting from here again.

First of all we got a room in a basement, with no windows, mould on the walls and it was extremely loud, since you could hear every footstep from outside. After complaining we got a new room, but it was way smaller than what we booked and the “king size bed” was really small too. In this room it was also very loud all day and night because the window was next to a generator. Also the shower had a weird smell and there was no window in the bathroom. It was nice in general that we were able to switch the rooms but it was still not worth the price. The cleaning lady was very nice and gave us a bottle of wine and the apartments were only 5 minutes to the city center as well, which was nice. But in general we have to say that it was way too expensive for what we got.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Tulum close to amenities and ADO bus station.
I particularly loved my room so clean and spacious with a comfortable bed.
The Wi-Fi connection was great throughout the property.
I would definitely come back next time I am in town. Lastly, Thank you to the amazing staff that made me feel welcomed! 5 stars!!!

Centrally located and half the price of most hotels, HipHipstay was a great choice. Clean and comfortable rooms, all amenities you could need, easy check in service and very kind and helpful staff (shout out to Philip). Will definitely book again.

Chambre confortable mais très bruyante (simple vitrage sur forte circulation). Éclairage de la salle d'eau automatique et ne s'éteint qu'après une 1/2 heure et éclaire toute la chambre. Il ne faut donc pas y aller en pleine nuit !!! Pas de penderie. Accueil très sympathique.

I enjoyed my stay at Hiphipstay. The space is clean and strategically located. The host were friendly and always ready to address any issue I had.

The place is very close to the main tourist attractions/places in Dublin. You can easily take at the airport the Dublin Express Line and get down on Ormond Quay Upper and just walk less than 2 minutes. The room is not big; however, it has very thing you need, bath, bed is comfortable, hair dryer, TV and a small fridge. The only thing as recommendation for the owner is to always provide to the guests the front door code ahead, in order to leave the luggage there before check in time, that would be very helpful. In my case I received the codes after check in time, around 3:45 pm and also the room was not ready at 3:00 pm. It took them to finish the cleaning around 20 minutes after check in time. I was able to access the place, because another guests received the main door code ahead, therefore, I got in and I talked to the guys who were doing the cleaning and they helped me and let me to leave the luggage there. Small, nice place to sleep in Dublin downtown.

Great location, but wouldn’t stay again. Hosts were helpful and moved us to another room after we complained about Pod room being small, no hanging space, noise from front door and steam spraying noise with draught outside and room flooding due to tiny bathroom and noise outside. Was then moved to basement room which had no natural light and intermittent banging from a closed off part of the room (assuming wind and nothing paranormal!). Bathroom also flooding here due to poor shower basin, leading to damp in the room. In the 4 nights we were there towels changed once and no refreshments replenished (coffee pods, toilet paper). All in all would not stay again but lovely hosts.

The room was great! Very spacious for a room in the city, great view, clean and very close to the big tourist attractions!

Phillip is an amazing host. He wants to make sure you have everything you need. It's a good, safe area in the Temple Bar area. I thought it would be loud being next to a street but it really wasn't loud at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower felt amazing. If you want a nice place to stay, this is a really good option.

My stay at Hiphip stay was highly enjoyable. The room is spacious and clean. The location is central (can be a bit noisy at night) which is very convenient.
The staff (Yadira in particular) was nice and helpful.

I will gladely comeback to that hotel.
