Bus timetables don't align with when the buses run. Make sure you arrive 15 mins early than the listed time, as the bus could be 10 minutes early or 10 minutes late, if it even turns up at all. Never... Mehr ansehen

The busses are an absolute rip off. £10.80 for a return from Market Weighton to Beverly which is 15 minutes away. How come York to Market Weighton is much cheaper yet the journey for that is over an hour? Need fixing, not using these busses again.

The 7:50am bus on from Pocklington to York, number 815 has not been cleaned in two weeks, there are sweets smashed into the window on the left side, no one wants to sit there and it's uncomfortable for people to know that EYMS don't clean their buses regularly!

I travelled on the 747 service this morning. Caught the bus in Fangfoss. The driver was the most friendliest driver I have ever met. He was jovial, enthusiastic and made my journey to work a happy experience. What a lovely man. All the drivers are pleasant on this service but, this morning the driver went one step further. Marvellous. It was the 7.30 service from Fangfoss to York. Well done that driver!

Friday 25th jan out in plenty of time two catch the 0906am service 33 from wold road very cold morning with a cold wind blowing 10 past nine no bus thought got time wrong no just missed a bus out so from the last bus at 0830 am to 0925 am no service that's an hour between buss what about people who have too go to work and then when you ask the driver who the customer service manager is I have no idea was the answer .the service 33 has long been the worst service in hull come on EYMS get sorted

I am writing with regards to son and daughter getting on a bus 66 in Hull, they got a bus to the town centre to go to the cinema the bus driver charged them 80p when they had come to come home at 8pm on the evening they went to pay the 80p bus fare and was told it wasn't enough they had £1 on them to which they told them what they had, and was told they couldn't board the bus without £1.10 I am abserlutely disgusted at 1) how prices can differ to the same place, 2)the manner in which the bus driver approached the situation and 3) leaving children in town at that time of a night on a Sunday night knowing there is one bus an hour, I will be making sure that I do not use an eyms bus again

Worst timekeeping ever
Worst timekeeping ever , bus drivers are rude and some racist. Customer service don't seem to give a s**t about complaints. The company is absolutely useless. Bus today was one hour late and I asked him where the 16:48 was ( which was the bus we was waiting for) he said don't know and then he said he is an hour late anyway. Also he 'claimed' he didn't know why he was late which clearly shows he was lying. Who can rely on a company who's bus drivers lie to their passengers? Also had an incident about 1 and a half months ago where one of the bus drivers threatened me and I also found out she had been saying stuff around the depot about me. Also I have had many occassions where I was at the doors and the driver closed the doors on me and drove off. Also had a couple of incidents where I have put my hand out and they have drove straight past. The bus drivers are clearly ignorant and rude. This is just shocking for a bus company.
good service but poor time keeping
for as long as I can remember EYMS has had piss poor time keeping, especially in rural areas. More recently its getting worse.
General rule is to look at the timetable and plan your day around them times, you arrive 5-10 mins before bus should arrive and wait 5-10 mins after if it still hasn't shown up, unwritten rule of uk public transport, yes? Well not with EYMS you should arrive at the bus stop at any time you choose and set up camp at the stop until your bus arrives, this could be a 10 minute wait, 20, 40 or 1 hour so bring a flask! Also on days like today (2.8.14) bring an umbrella!
What is the point in having timetables published online if the drivers don't stand by them?! At what point can we start holding EYMS to blame for missed appointments and full days being written off because of there tardiness?
My advise dont look at the time tables just be prepared for a long wait.
Excellent customer service
Last week my girlfriend went on a trip on an EYMS bus with our 7 month old daughter, buggy and baby paraphernalia. As she got on, the driver got out of his cab and rearranged things in the gantry to make room for the buggy. He then asked if he could help further and was given my daughter to hold whilst my girlfriend folded the buggy up. After lots of "awwws" from the passengers at the driver being so good with my daughter the buggy was folded and my daughter was returned. The driver then got my girlfriend to sit down and proceeded to ferry her money, ticket and change between her seat and his cab so that she didn't have to get up again.
Absolutely exemplary service.
