Bus timetables don't align with when the buses run. Make sure you arrive 15 mins early than the listed time, as the bus could be 10 minutes early or 10 minutes late, if it even turns up at all. Never... Mehr ansehen

Good bus drivers.
This morning I was running late to catch the 150 , I had a connecting bus to catch. The bus came on time as usual so I put my hand out and ran , hoping for the best. The bus driver saw me , stopped and waited . I had my small dog with me and I myself am not the fastest , but he waited , was cheerful and polite and I caught my connecting bus as usual. East Yorkshire buses have drivers who are a credit to them.

The service i use [51] is constantly being cancelled or just doesn't turn up
Drivers are great...bus service and maintenance isn't.
The drivers on the bus routes i use (rural) are fantastic. HOWEVER the company has literally gone to sh!t since it was sold! Brakes failing, doors not shutting, engine fires and the drivers are told to take them back to the station...with passengers on!

Stood outside Scarborough train station today 3.50 Bus came signalled for it to stop and he drove straight past. Obviously his fat arse didn’t want to leave his seat. Spent £7 on a taxi . Called office and the person on the end has no idea how to answer a phone must be some sort of simpleton. What a joke of a company
Absolutely rubbish service
Absolutely rubbish service, waited 2 hours for bus . This has happened twice in York,
26 bus is terrible go through hull instead
Waiting for the 2 pm bus at 2.30 I had been waiting for an hour no sign of the bus 3 pm it arrived and the driver said he’s only going to cottingham beacuse “I can’t be arsed and I am late” and there improving other buses witch are fine as they are also why is the 35 and 54 half hourly I swear they were like every 15-20 minutes
arrogant
i am absolutely fuming. First of all this morning the bus number 24 to hornsea was supposed to be at my stop at precisely 10:33am but turned up at about 10:55am. Then the bus driver tried to tell me i couldn’t get on the bus because its full but i had to be at work i then got a bit mardy because i was stressed as i needed to be at work he then let me on after i persisted i needed to be at work because the because the bus was already late and they’re hourly. Anyways i had to stand that full journey and was cramped which was kind of uncomfortable. Anyways he did apologize for the inconvenience after i got of the bus which was alright i suppose. Anyways story doesn’t end here. Ive now finished work and i put the arm out for the bus and the driver drove right passed me now i have to wait another hour. I’m absolutely exhausted and ive been working all day i just wanted to get home but the bus driver was rude and arrogant and drove right passed me. this happened around 5oclock at sigglesthorne to hull.

I was waiting for the 136, 10.40am at Bridlington, the only morning bus we have now. It was late, but that's usual. Then it went straight on Kingsgate instead of turning onto George Street, making me miss my appointmemt. Do the drivers please themselves whether to follow the route or not?

I would give it no stars if that was an option. I'm pretty sure that they have absolutely no idea how to run a bus company. The X46 was supposedly stuck in traffic for 30 minutes, so the driver stopped at the bus stop and informed us that he wasn't stopping. Moron
Idiot bus driver as per norm
Just watched a guy nearly get himself killed on a zebra crossing so the driver pulled over and told him. Then your 56 number bus pulled right up to the driver and the driver had to reverse! Someone of some intelligence at your company tell me what the hell do you have driving your buses!!!!!!!!
Unreliable and rude and unclean drivers.
My daughter waited for the 12.06 bus from Skipsea to Driffield. She arrived at the bus stop early and tracked the bus. It wasn't even partly full and had no mechanical problems. For no reason the bus turned round at Bedford and returned to Driffield. My daughter was late for her driving theory test and lost £30. The service East Yorkshire buses provides is shoddy and the staff are rude and unfriendly. Some of the drivers don't even look clean. East Yorkshire buses is a disgrace to East Yorkshire.
Missing buses out again
Missing buses out again. 0700 ASDA/Longhill to the interchange cancelled, prime time for people to get to work. Since the new operator took over this service hasn't been the same, used to be so reliable. Now it's a lottery if the bus turns up or not. If they can't run it properly give it to Stagecoach.
Third world public transport
Third world public transport. You cannot use it if you need to be anywhere by a particular time. The epitome of a country on its last legs.
Flamborough buses
Stood waiting for 11.20 bus from Bridlington to Flamborough, 20 mins late, no explanation, no apology, we only have one an hour surely they could run on time !
No 26 bus from Hessle square!
What a shambles, waited 30 minutes in the freezing cold for the bus to turn up 'not in service' no explanation from the driver, nothing but a hand! I missed a hospital appointment and will have to wait months for it to be rearranged! Use busses they tell you, I think I'll pass from now on. What a joke!
COMPLETELY forgotten about the 58…
COMPLETELY forgotten about the 58 service, 8am bus didn’t come yesterday, same again today and then the 8:20 didn’t either so now I’m late for work and have to make it back through no fault of my own. Never thought I’d be driven to buying a car over having to use this service (or lack thereof) but I will be so I don’t have to give them any more of my money for something that doesn’t arrive. Absolute joke
Worst company
This company without question has to be one of the worst I have ever had the displeasure of using. The drivers don't have a clue what time they are supposed to run their routes, buses either never show up and are constantly late, or they break down.
They just syphon public/council funds to pay their bosses higher wages rather than improving the service.
Wages for them go up customer service for us goes down.
