To all of you individuals on here writing about how great this company is, I want you to try to do a sale order, or a transfer order! I guarantee you, you will have a change of heart, that will be driven by how slow, with no sense of urgency they move…this company is str8 trash..Charles Schwab, sent a transfer request to them on 06/03/26
the request completed on this end on 06/06/2026..But yet AST Equiniti, has not actually sent it, today is 06/11/2026..still nothing..I called them 2 days go, and was told by the phone rep..it usually take 1 day..This is bs..I hate that I have ever did business with these morons..I wished that I could charge the person that referred them to me, for all of the gains that I have watched evaporate while waiting for theses idiots to process a transfer..It’s so freaking annoying..My shares has disappeared from my account on their platform 06/09/2026 and they have not showed up anywhere yet..Electronic transfers does not take 8 days..These people are a bunch of idiots..I’m on the phone now with Danny..barely speak English..giving me the 1 day transfer lie..I don’t really believe that they are tech savvy enough to even operate electronically, and probably mailed a check to me instead.Well. after being placed on hold for 4 mins Danny comes back on the line and informs me that the shares were transferred out on 06/08/2026, but if we have not received them, they must have gotten stuck in between..Not sure what in between means but..I am so exhausted with this..So unprofessional, and ridiculous..

Terrible service
Terrible service. I have been trying to deal with my late mother's one shareholding managed by Equiniti, having previously notified them of her death. They sent me a letter asking me to provide bank details for a small outstanding dividend payment. The letter suggested I register for an account on line to update bank account details but the online form did not work...so I called the number in the letter they sent me asking me to contact them...sat in a queue for 20 minutes ...twice...got told to call in again to the bereavement team (not able to transfer me) because they couldn't do something as simple as update bank details despite their letter telling me to call that number...sat in another queue for the bereavement team for 20 minuts with terrible music and insincere recorded apologies for the delay. Finally resolved the query after an hour. They should sort their online system and/or hire more people in their call centre. Rubbish company grown complacent with slack UK government contracts. To make it worse the rubbish AI call handler can't even say 'Equiniti' properly. Really??!!

Customer Service Above and Beyond My Expectations
Following the recent sad passing of my dear mum, I had to call EQ's bereavement team as part of winding up her estate. I hate doing such things at the best of times, but I really want to thank their representative Gokul for going above and beyond in helping me through the process. Not only was he kind, compassionate and understanding, but he provided me with all the information I need to complete this last task for mum without drama. Thank you. You are a credit to EQ.

I received a call from the helpline
I received a call from the helpline, after my original phone call had dropped. The lady serving me was very patient and polite, she explained what had happened earlier and helped me with the issue error code 1.
It was a pleasant experience and she was very patient and precise although I was in a rush, and I made mistakes on my email info I gave her initially.

Bureaucratic and unhelpful
Trying to sort out my late mother's shares and Equiniti are making the process really difficult and overly bureaucratic. On hold for 40 minutes to customer services waiting for them to answer a generic query regarding what evidence is needed for confirmation of identity if based overseas to be told I must call a different number for bereavement. On hold again for over 40 minutes and they did not even answer. Plus they sent back all the share certificates which were sent Special Delivery by ordinary post (risky) instead of waiting until the identity issue is resolved. Been almost 2 months now trying to sort this and still hasn't been. Avoid.

I have been trying for nearly 2 years…
I have been trying for nearly 2 years now to sort some shares which were held by my deceased Mother. Having overcome them loosing the form of Probate Itwice I now seem to take 2 steps forward and one step backwards. The bereavement service seems to be one size fits all and assumes a level of share dealing experience. It can take 45 mins to get a phone call answered and then the member of staff is both difficult to understand and sends out the wrong forms again!! Back to square one it’s so frustrating!!
