I notified them of the passing of my…

I notified them of the passing of my partner to retain share but only in my name, they did this but then all my bank details which they have had for over 15 years dissappeared and i now dont receive any annual dividends, i on numerous times attempted to contact them to explain, i am still awaiting after further promises i will receive a call, over 6 monthg this has been going on, dreadful situation, they dont look after there customers.

One of the worst financial institutions I've ever dealt with

One of the worst businesses I've ever dealt with.

The online system is clunky and old and terrible UI

It should not take 15 business days to sell shares - 8 business days to verify and 7 business days to sell

I sent an email with documents - after 13 days and 2 follow up emails, I called them up. Turns out they hadn't even processed my emails and said it'll take another 5 business days to process starting today

All the fees are way too high

Why do we need to fill out complicated forms to process anything? Why can I not buy and sell shares on the app myself?

There are no redeeming qualities other than the fact that they didn't lose all my shares somehow

I'd give negative stars but I can't - avoid at all costst

Zero stars if possible

Zero stars if possible. App failure of ability to sell shares leading to lapsing of scheme and me loosing all my shares. Will listen to my previous calls where I explained the app is not working properly. If this is resolved I will
Improve my rating but as it stands it’s still low ratings for the App.

this company deserves zero most inept company i have dealt with . took 6 months sell shares from dead mothers estate lost forms sent in ..asked for more forms to be sent out wrong forms that were filled in and sent back only to be told these were the wrong forms continually stalling by asking for more information 1 bit a time average time to speak to someone on phone was 45 minutes never rang back when they said never replied to emails lost thousands of dollars this company is a joke and should be avoided at cost

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service, they decided to not declare $25000 worth of shares to the tax department from 2 years ago, and only just decided to disclose this information now “down to an administrative error” causing me to have a tax bill of $13,000 2 years after the fact and when contacted about any compensation was told basically too bad too sad, I would never use this brokerage firm again and would transfer any shares out or away from this company.

I have found dealing with MUFG to be consistently frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. The main issue is the online system, which feels outdated, clunky, and unreliable.

Simple tasks that should take a few minutes often become a lengthy process. Withdrawals in particular seem almost impossible to complete smoothly online. Yet again, the website failed to work properly, leaving me unable to complete what should have been a straightforward request. Instead, I had to spend additional time calling customer services and then following up by email just to make progress.

The website itself is poorly designed and not user-friendly at all. Navigation is confusing, pages can be slow to load, and error messages provide little useful information. For a large international banking group, the online experience feels years behind modern banking standards.

What is most disappointing is the lack of efficiency. Customers should not have to rely on phone calls and manual emails every time the website fails or a withdrawal is needed. Banking should be convenient and accessible, especially online, but my experience with MUFG has been the complete opposite.

Overall, the service has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time. I hope MUFG invests in improving both its website functionality and customer experience because the current system simply does not meet expectations.

Switching from Perpetual to Mufg…

Switching from Perpetual to Mufg internet service occurred about a year ago. I am still trying to understand how to produce reports that are complete and understandable. A lot of complicated and unnecessary structures. Why not be like a bank account and see a running balance with debit and credit type entries?

On hold for an hour

I'm trying to log in for first time after they bough out Computershare. Their website wont let me do anything without 2FA but 2FA can only be set up by calling them. Been sitting on hold for an hour with no indication where I am in queue.

Unable to sell for 2 weeks due to 'fraud prevention' and bad customer service

I put my bank account details into the platform to sell a share. They have a 10 business day 'fraud prevention' time period in which you are not allowed to sell. My shares have dropped from $15.66 to $11.74 in that time. I would understand a couple days but 2 weeks is insane. Awful customer service when I tried to raise this with them to shorten the time period.

Absolutely appauling

Absolutely appauling , went to sell Telstra shares, jump through all the hoops on line ID , holding , etc only to get to the trade to be told " under review " and nothing happened . Days later i recieve a letter telling me the trade is under review and to call .Evenually all complete but hardly a service and you could loose huge money due to delays .Useless

Rubbish received an email from them…

Rubbish received an email from them confirming the instruction to sell my shares on the 19th of March. Still shows as instructed on 23rd March still in progress despite their email saying the sale would be processed on the next working day which was actually Friday 20th March not today which is Tuesday 24th March

Terrible share dealing service

I sold some shares using MUFG. They sent an email stating that I would need a stock transfer form and they would send me one. (Other companies let you download it.) When it failed to arrive within a week, I emailed - their reply stated they would respond within 5 working days. It took that long and then they said I could download a form, but it had by then arrived in the post. I signed it and sent it back. I received an email today stating they had not received my certificate and telling me again I could download a form from their website. There was a link to an email address, but the link was dead. It's now over 2 weeks since the shares were sold, but I have yet to receive my money. This is appalling service.

I have been trying to change my email address on my portfolio

I have been trying to change my email address for months. I have had no access to my portfolio or received any emails. They refuse to update my email after ive provided all holding statement numbers and my personal details numerous times. Each person I talk too or email has not been helpful. The issue is just continuing on. Do not register your shares in this company.

Totally useless

Totally useless - left company as good leaver 2 months before got leavers letter which has no explanation at all as what to do? Helpline mixed get conflicting advice so have no idea what’s going on!

Dreadful customer services

Dreadful customer services. Despite submitting a form to change my dividend payments, all I get are emails back saying you can do this online in your account but whenever I try it comes up with an error. I point this out and get another email (each reply takes 5 days) saying you can do this online. Still not done done over a month later. Formal complaint didnt fare much better - said you could do this online.

I've requested to sell all my shares 8 working days ago and I've still received nothing, it looks like they are holding on to it to gain interest, I call it robbery just like Richard Turpin except he wore mask. I would never recommend this Mickey mouse company to anyone.

Charlatans

An absolute nightmare to deal with. Our company sharesave scheme was, unfortunately, with MUFG, and getting the shares out is a process that takes months. I asked for my shares on the 11th December. I was told my case had an allotment date of the 31st December and it would be 4 working days to 6 weeks from that date.
My ISA manger has heard nothing from them as of the 4th Feb, so I’ve called to be told that my allotment date was actually the 28th of January and that it will be ten working days to six weeks from that date. They are now lying about ever having told me the initial date I was given.
Worse still, the shares I elected to sell dropped in value while I was waiting for them to action my case so I have lost thousands of pounds through their incompetence.

Absolutely terrible company. Avoid at all costs!

Every person you speak to at customer services tells you something different about your sale then proceeds to moves the goal posts as to delay release your funds.
