I was recommended to look at Dolan for my new bike which is always a good sign. Customer service has been great, always received a speedy response to any query. Used the bike fitting service as between sizes and thoroughly enjoyed the process and well worth it. The bike itself is light and comfortable. Recent Atreus e-bike delivered, generally a positive experience.
The negative, quite a bit of chasing on the phone as the 30 working days was exceeded by several weeks.
The positive - frame is exceptionally well finished, all torque wrench settings would be better marked on the frame. Single bolt seat posts are notoriously tricky so care a fitting paste required.
Discs are standard SRAM not Shimano Ultegra, this is not noted on the web site.
Care with tubeless tyres, with 30mm wide you only require 50 - 55psi pressure and max is just over 70.
Battery assistance works well, lowest two settings will get an old git like me up any Derbyshire hill.
Overall exceptional value.

This is my second bike I've purchased from Dolan and in the main I'm reasonably happy with it.

Even though the build time was extremely rapid I think this must have been a "Friday" bike because after collection and getting it home I found the gears were not set up correctly.

The rear derailleur would not drop into the bottom cog and I had to adjust the outer limit screw. The front derailleur would not even change onto the big ring and after investigation I found that the gear cable was way too slack, which demonstrates a lack of care and attention to detail.

The frame also has numerous small marks on it which is disappointing.

Apart from these issues the bike rides very well and is extremely light for climbing.

Would I buy from Dolan again? .......... probably not which is a real shame as my first bike from them was excellent.

A big shout out to the guys at Dolan, particularly John and Jan, for the exceptional customer service at the weekend. I had driven down from Glasgow early morning with an issue with my GXC whereby a threaded boss for my rear mudguard had failed in the frame meaning I couldn't remove mudguards in advance of planned trip the following day.
Before I could even fully describe the problem, John was working on the bike in the workshop.
I was back on the M6 North within the hour.
No questions asked, no hesitation, no awkward discussions re warranty (even though it was outwith standard 2 years timeframe).
Also provided me with some touch-up paint for dropped chain induced damage to underside of frame.
This why they have such a good reputation and the reason I will not hesitate to buy more bikes from them in the future.

I first went for a bike fit as i wanted the Dolan Ares but was worried about it being too uncomfortable for me. However the bike fit filled me with confidence to get it and im so glad i did. The bike is brilliant, so fast and agile. I also asked the bike to be delivered within a certain time and it came right on time. Would highly recommend 👍🏻

Great people very helpful and brilliant bikes. Looked at a few bikes and this one not only is the best in the price range but having had it fitted it is sooo comfortable. Would have given 5 stars but a slight hiccup with time scale for the build.

Customer service is fantastic email queries answered within a few hrs or next day. The bike it’s self is awesome fast and comfortable. Ordering process was straightforward and collected my new bike well within the 30 days predicted. Would recommend Dolan bikes to anybody who wants a quality bike at a good price.

Bought a GXC 105 Di2 and absolutely love it! Delivery was also only 3 weeks from placing order!

I have not purchase a bike directly with Dolan, however I have purchased a frame via eBay, and had quite a few queries. The team (Sam), have been very patient and informative. Guiding me with my requirements and providing all the necessary information. Very helpful and excellent aftersales service. They care about their customers!!

I did a fair bit of research online looking for the bike I wanted and narrowed it down to a few. DOLAN bikes are UK-made, very competitively priced and the bike itself was just beautiful. Their service and communication was fantastic, delivery swift and no problem putting it together at home. Would highly recommend.

After struggling for months with different company constantly putting back the delivery date of my bike, I came across Dolan bikes. I am so glad to have discovered them and just wish I had sooner. They offer an excellent level of customisation options (just as I had wanted from the previous brand) but more importantly could confirm the stock levels before purchase, so gave me a guaranteed build and delivery date. In addition they gave me an extensive bike fit where no question was too small.
The bike then amazingly ended up to my excitement arriving early. Unfortunately the carrier had caused a slight cosmetic issue, however Dolan resolved this almost instantly. I thoroughly recommend and cannot speak more highly of the service offered. Great job Dolan bikes.

Easy to use web based ordering. Helpful and friendly guidance when I called to ask about options. Once th eoredr had been placed, I was updated with progress and alternatives offered when parts were not available. The bike is also fantastic.

We purchased two ADX bikes to dip our toes into the bike touring world.
After an initial bike fit with Sam, who was excellent, a few issues we were having were addressed, with a couple of solutions we hadn't thought of put in place. The riding positions now felt a lot more comfortable.
Communication was good, with any questions I submitted via email being answered promptly.
The bikes were delivered within the specified lead time and arrived well packaged with minimal assembly required. I have marked them down, should be 1/2 star, because I had to adjust the gears on both bikes which I didn't expect to be doing, but it was easily rectified.
First impressions were good and we immediately noticed how much more upright we felt, but for their intended use where comfort takes priority over speed, they felt just right.
The ride quality is great, quieter than carbon and impressively comfortable; the 32mm tyres play a big part in this I guess and riding over broken or rough surfaces is far less noticeable. On advice from the bike fit, we opted for shorter cranks and there is a marked difference in the ride feel compared to our carbon bikes with longer cranks.The bikes are so easy to propel along the road and after a short 25 mile shakedown ride of mixed terrain, we arrived home almost as fresh as when we left.
Great bikes and now can't wait to try them on our first of many bike tours however great or small.

Purchased a dolan tuono carbon frame with electronic shifters. have had it for approx 5 weeks and ridden a dozen or so times in various weather. Smooth and responsive ride and the shifters make a big difference. Delighted with the bike which also looks great (standard metallic blue - looks better than in the pics online). Customer service from the team excellent. Great advice before purchase and excellent after sales service (I've had to phone them about how to check the battery and to get advice about apps). Highly recommended.

The service from Dolan has been excellent, great (and super quick) responses to emails and questions. Delivery was more than 10 days early!
The bike rides incredibly well, especially compared to my 10 year old Giant Defy, it is super comfortable, responds well to my limited power output and seems to handle great.
The 105 Di2 is a revelation making me realise I should have upgraded to Di2 long ago!

It is about a year now since I picked up my Dolan ADX Titanium Disc with Ultegra.

What a fantastic bike and a fantastic company to buy from. Helpful in the showroom when I placed the order, when I asked questions during the build and when I picked up the bike. It had been built and prepared to the highest standards.

The bike itself is a fantastic ride and extremely comfortable - I am in my fifties, and I rode the bike 125 miles one day this summer - it felt as comfortable after 120 miles as it had when I started. And it looks great too.

Staff were friendly and helpful right through from placing the order to collecting the bike. Bike was ready within 30 days of placing the order (as Dolan suggested it would be). The quality of the frame and build is excellent, even more so when you see how competitively priced they are.
