Ordered a crankset which had a damaged chain ring. The customer service team were very very helpful in sorting a replacement with quick turn around for my bike mechanic appointment early next week. Thanks specifically for Andy for his patience and diligence five bikes out of five.

Bought a fixie through a cycle to work scheme (halfords scheme, but purchase direct through Dolan), I was expecting the process to take months. To my surprise it was less than a week from first click to new bike day. The proof of payment was a simple email and the bike arrived mostly put together, even the mudguards were in place. All I had to do was attach front wheel, handlebars, seat post and pedals. Went for a spin and the bike feels great.

It's not often I'm happy with a company these days, but props to Dolan

Recently bought a tandem from Dolan to (sadly) replace the existing one that we'd had for over 20 years. Daniel is autistic and isn't really safe to ride on the roads on his own, particularly these days with the state of the roads and driving standards; so we've been using a tandem for many years.

Finding a replacement was not easy but the service from Dolan was extremely good, the bike itself is a dream to ride and has met, no, exceeded all expectations.

I’ve had my Dolan ares for a couple of years - great bike and great service and communication throughout. Recently I damaged my thru axles (my own bad), John arranged for new ones to be sent through which arrived the next day at a very reasonable cost too!

I was looking for a do it all bike that can be used on the road, some light gravel and used with mudguards for winter. The Dolan RDX does all this with a comfortable frame, 105 hydraulic groupset and Mavic wheels. To get that from one of the big names would cost so much more. It’s a great ride and just does everything well.

Just received my Dolan Ares. I Cant fault it. A great piece of kit and an amazing ride !!!
On top of that the service from the team at Dolan-Bikes was second to none.

Recently purchased the 2023 Dolan Atreus Shimano 105.

I've only ridden it about 100 miles, but find it to be an excellent bike.

I am a reasonably fit rider in the 60+ age group. I have been able to ride it without needing to use the battery assistance (about 10,000ft of climb in that 100 miles), but I am sure this will be useful in years to come :-)

The bike has what is calls "5 levels of assistance". It should be noted that the 1st level (green) actually offers no assistance but does help by providing no resistance while pedalling. As such, although it offers 5 levels, only 4 of those levels provide assistance.

The quality of the bike build is excellent. The paint finish on the carbon frame is excellent.

The only downside is not related to the bike, but the app that you use to communicate with it. It has no features other than keeping the firmware on the bike up to date. No trip recording, no maps, no power indication, no live battery level. No saving of any data related to rides. It does connect to a Garmin bike computer and that can show which assistance level has been selected and a live battery "state of charge" as you ride.

The button used to change levels has an excellent responsive touch feel to it with a very positive click when changing levels.

I have ridden the Orbea eBikes and would say that the feel of the ride on the Dolan is superior.

I’m fairly new to track cycling and Dolan made the process of getting started with my own bike so easy. Really loved the video tutorials and how easy it is to order parts.

The people at Dolan Bikes are very knowledgeable and understanding of all levels of cyclists. Suggest, take the bike fit which they return the fee if you buy a bike. Delivery is as quick as it can be and the quality of the ADX Titanium bike is first class. You get a very good spec for less money than other suppliers and bike builders. I would not hesitate to recommend a trip to Dolan and ordering a bike.

From the initial consultation with Dolan Bikes to discuss my requirements, to the bike fit service they offer, bike build and collection at the Dolan factory, as I’m lucky enough to be able to drive there within 45 minutes - i can only say was an excellent service throughout. Very knowledgable and helpful staff and a quicker than expected bike build schedule. I’ve been riding my brilliant Dolan ADX now for a month and all is what I would have expected from a Dolan bike. I originally had a Cougar before it became Dolan so there was no thought of going to any other bike builder. I would totally recommend Dolan Bikes and can imagine getting my next bike from Dolan.

After terrible experiences with another cycle supplier (not very far from Dolan), I cancelled my order and instead placed an order for a new bike with Dolan.
What a fantastic contrast to my previous experience! From the initial contact, the staff were friendly, helpful, and honest about delivery times. I had to phone or email them on a couple of occasions, and they responded immediately to any contact - sooo refreshing!
After placing the order, I received a call back within an hour to say some of the components I had specced were on long lead times, but that they were happy to supply more expensive upgrades, free of charge.
I settled back to wait for the delivery (promised in 6 weeks). Amazingly, after just 3 weeks it was delivered.
The packing was excellent - robust, well thought out, and only requiring fitting of the front wheel and seat post. The bike was well set up, with Di2 fully tuned and charged, and tyres at correct pressures.
I have nothing but praise for all the staff I had contact with.
And the bike? Well, it's the best bike I have ever ridden, let alone owned. It's an Ares. Relatively light, strong and aero, it feels very stiff, but comfortable. And it looks beautiful! I'm looking forward to many kilometres together!

Superb service from start to finish, from the initial bike fit, which was extremely useful and helpful, to the delivery of the bike. Delivered within the 30 days as promised. Had the bike for a few weeks and no problems at all, highly recommended company to use.

Great customer service, amazing quality bikes, will always look to Dolan for a new bike.

Massive thanks to Jan @dolan bikes who saved my Holkham outlaw experience. Arrived to only get a mechanical failure which when directed to Jan, was fixed within minutes and at no cost other than wishing me luck for Sunday.

So my new track wheel arrived beautifully packaged with a perfectly glued tub just three days after I ordered it and in time for the weekend’s races. And my 2013 Dolan Ares is still one of my favourite bikes! Highly recommended as ever - reliable and knowledgeable
