Very bad after sales, and very rude.
Sent an airbag ecu for repair due to an internal error, and was assured that they see this all the time, no problem we can fix it. so sent it to them, Got it back, and light is still present, with even more fault codes than before!
Phoned up, and got a cocky, rude guy that basically said 'what do you want me to do about it?'
Don't waste your time dealing with this company, i certainly wont again!

I too had a problem and emailed them, no reply to date.
Went elswhere in the end.

So crashdata are saying I made it all up. How strange a reply is that. Just gives people more reason to doubt I feel. And I dont see a name to the reply, hiding are you!! Period.

Just take a look at your reviews. its not just me that leaves a poor review.
Seems to me that most of your replies are all on the defensive,and that you get wrong.

Module was sent for repair , along with a return address.
The parcel was returned to a completely random address , luckily the address was unoccupied ,and the parcel was returned to the depot, the tracking number that was provided was useless , because it didn't match our postcode ........
Again luckily it was the same sorting office , so with a little bit of work from our postman , we recieved the parcel 3 days later .... sent a picture of the address the parcel was sent, to crash data .......have had no apology as yet ........
Having said all that , the module in question works perfectly after repair .......................

They tell you a price before you send the module and then when they call for the payment they just add a lot to it. Besides the fact that they only accept payments by phone, where you tell them all your card details, which is stupid.
When I asked for an explanation of the inflated price, and I told them I am not willing to pay more than I was told, the guy just started to insult me and pretend he's not hearing me.
I guess they will just keep the module and sell it.
Just buy a new module rather than sending it to these guys.

I contacted Crash Data through their live chat.
I got a quick response with a link on how to remove the the unit. I sent it off in the post Monday and got it back Wednesday. Fitted it back to my Fiat Dutcato motorhome and the air bag light was gone.
Great service and a great cost.
I would have spent more having the problem diagnosed.
I would recommend and use again

I have a Volvo V50 with an airbag warning fault lit up in the dashboard, called crash data who were so helpful on the phone and sent the module off on a Friday. It was repaired on the Monday and I received it back Tuesday, amazing service can’t recommend enough, price also excellent. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

i have a peugeot 2002 had a problem with my air bag light staying on . i took to my local garage for a diagnostic check was told ECB fault would be expensive so i said i would leave the job for now removed the ECB myself sent to crash data who repaired my fully repaired box the next day all worked well saved lot of money great service well done

Jean and Abbey were both extremely helpful as I had a problem with the Post Office special delivery service that I had paid for. My item wasn't scanned with caused me much angst as the parcel could not be tracked or located for a whole week. Both ladies responded immediately each day as I tried to determine whether the parcel had arrived. When it finally arrived on day 7, Jean immediately phoned me to put my mind at ease and it was repaired and shipped on the same day. Thank you.

I don't really write reviews, but this time I felt like I have to because I never ever had that kind of bad experience dealing with companies providing service to the trade and public.
Here is my story:
Got a car with air bag light on and after the diagnostic scan did not show any present faults, just some history. After few attempts to clear them with no luck and with no crash data recorded, I have decided that is more likely some kind of software or internal ECU problem. So after browsing over the internet i found that company and within a short phone conversation they assured me that it is a well known problem and they can sort it out for me. So I decided to send it out for repair as they sounded reasonably and trusty. After 3-4 days I rang them and they told me that the ECU is repaired and it is on the way back to me. When I plugged it back to the car the air bag light was still on with no fault present and the same history faults. I rang them straight away explaining the situation and asking for any solution and advice as nothing has changed before was sent to them. The girl on the reception (Jane) was unexceptionally rude asking me "What you want me to do? We don't repair ECU we only reset the software"... I got really confused as they are advertising on their website "Air bag ECU reset and repair" Then she promised me that she is going to talk to the technician and to call me back. Guess what .. 3-4 hours passed and I got no phone call, so I rang them looking for explanation and solution again. The technician told me that the ECU was reset and after my question ''How come if the ECU is reset I still have those history faults" he couldn't give me a reasonable explanation and hang up the phone...Rang the girl on the reception(Jane) one more time and instead of giving me a solution she started blaming my diagnostics skills and asking me how I can run a garage, and hang up the phone for second time??? Well Jane because you never gave me a chance to answer your question I can tell you that I'm running my garage very well for the last 15years. We treat our customers with respect and all of our jobs are done professionaly and with warranty. I'm pretty good with diagnostics, but when it comes to ECU softwares and internal ECU problems I don't have the right equipment and the knowledge, which you claimed you do. Thats why I gave you that job, guys! Well Jane it looks like you and your company fail to diagnose it and thats ok we are not perfect. We in our Garage do fail as well but we will never turn back our customers with that attitude. We will always find a solution
to satisfy them and keep them happy. That is how we treat our customers! You have lost a customer today, Jane!

Very fast and efficient service. Module reset and returned within 24 hours. Saving was £480 compared to quote from franchised dealer who wanted to replace with a new module.

Extremely helpful staff. Emailed photos to show location of the ECU that had to be removed. Three day turnaround. Booked a repair on Tuesday, removed and posted the ECU to them. I had it back on Thursday the same week. Fitted the ECU that afternoon. All faults cleared. Excellent service. Many thanks.

Fantastic service from Crashdata to rebuild my Kia Picanto Airbag ECU which had a No Comms fault. Sent it Thursday and received it back Saturday, can't be quicker than that.
Plug and play reinstallation worked a treat. Highly recommended and whilst the rebuild was one of the more expensive items they offer it still saved me hundreds of pounds.

I had initial doubts about the service and company as I do with most things. However I can say my doubts were unfounded. The service from start to finish was very good. My Fiat Ducato airbag ECU was returned promptly, in fact if I had seen and answered their email when it arrived I would have received my unit at least a day earlier. The turn around was very fast. Fitted by myself (I was a mechanical engineer) has proved very successful. Vehicle had been road tested for one hour today. All OK. I would suggest if anyone has an airbag fault which cannot be found by hand and eye checks, that you consider this company for your ECU test and repair.
