In a nutshell: this flight agency completely lacks any shape and form of customer service and were extremely slow and unhelpful - even failing to at least offer an explanation yet alone a proper apology.

We booked flight in advance through iwantthatflight.com - lesson here is you obviously get what you pay for.....cheap flights - absolutely horrible service. Our flight status was 'incomplete' when we were going to check-in and were unable to fly out the intended day. We spent another evening on the phone with the dreary customer service before the flight could be booked on the following day. At no point was a proper explanation or apology offered - rather they shifted the blame onto the airline itself.

In contrast, the customer service at WestJet were helpful- eventually got onto the next flight the day after. Yet, this company didn't seem to want to help at all.

Even as we got our itineraries e-mailed the details were incorrect - without including for us anyproper fight times or directions. THEY SHOULD HAVE LET US KNOW EARLIER - TO AVOID WASTING TIME/MONEY/ENERGY.

Truth be told, I should have not expected anything more from a 'third party' travel agent. But this is not acceptable. Do not use.

I booked flights home from Portugal on Jan 1st. The day I was supposed to fly Home (April 29), I was supposed to take 3 flights. It was odd because I was not allowed to check into the second flight online, but was able to check into the other ones fine. I find out WHILE IM AT THE AIRPORT that the transatlantic flight had been cancelled over 3 months ago, and cheapfaresnow had been informed and didn’t tell me, or rearrange my itinerary. They have not responded to my emails. I ended up having to wait in the Lisbon airport for over 9 hours, luckily the airline took it upon themselves to rebook everything so I could make it home even though I didn’t book directly through them. I was also stuck in Toronto overnight, had to pay for a bunch of extra stuff like a hotel and transfers and such. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I paid more with this site than I would have booking directly with the airlines (obviously my mistake, I thought I was looking at Canadian dollars pricing and I found out it was USD when it was charged to my card).

Do not use absolutely this company.
My order has been ignored.
In the end,cancellation charge is $2000!

CheapFaresNow also know as Smartfares (under the umbrella name of Picasso Travel and/or LBF) is to be avoided! It took 2.5 months for me to get my money refunded due to a cancelled flight. They had a different excuse every time I phoned them. Finally, I got my credit card company after them and they were able to secure my refund for me. They are a dodgy outfit and are very difficult to pin down. Dealing with them was a terrible experience. I will never deal with them again!

Poor communication and prices are not as advertised. If it can be avoided do not book with them. I was only overcharged by 10USD, but was given contradicting reasons as to why. Over the phone I was told a refund was already issued, but when inquiring by email I was told that the initial fare of 10USD less was no longer available. I should mention my phone communication and email were both done after I'd been charged and thus fare confirmed.

It's important to add this is yet another site that is run by the infamous LBF travel. I cannot recommend this site.
