Oh I am so upset. I wish I saw the reviews before proceeding forth and purchasing a ticket. I’m now calling my bank (within 24 hours) to make sure if they charge my card, that the transaction on my card doesn’t go through. The price difference was $30. It was so sketchy. Here’s my story:

I accidentally entered the wrong credit card expiration date and called them to fix it. However the lady told me the fare price “increased in $40”. I had their site open and told her that “no it hadn’t because I see the original price I booked it for. It’s the same. I could rebook it on your site.” I was being stubborn and she eventually told me she fixed it, without the extra surcharge. This might sound rude but I truly believe it’s part of their scheme. The lady had a heavy accent, sometimes I could tell she was trying to play off “not understanding” me even though I was being slow and clear.

However the following day, I get a text from a 888 number, an email from TravelersHelpDesk, all with different confirmation numbers saying my transaction failed and my flight could not be booked. Duh, I told you I entered the wrong Expiration Date. Frustrated that the call yesterday did nothing, I went to search for the site again, relieved that it was still the cheap price and rebooked.

I was stupid enough to just go ahead and rebook but now I am looking to contact my bank directly to cancel my rebooking after seeing these reviews.

Worried now all my personal info is on this phishing site. DO NOT USE THEM!

Be careful with this scammers, because even after your purchase, you will never receive your ticket number!
They steal your money playing currency conversions that do not match with currency exchange your bank or online any online currency exchange!
They charged $150 saying it's currency exchange with difference in 1 day!!
I gonna open court for my refund, where they stoled $150 more, than my receipt showing, which was sent by this cheap company after booking.

I hope everyone reads this. I purchased a ticket from Honolulu to Tokyo and paid extra $85 plus tax so that I can change itinerary without paying any penalty as promised in the website. Since I had an emergency situation, I had to change the flight dates. So, I called the number on the website as you can't change dates online. And come to find out that they only change itinerary as long as it's with the same airline as the original ticket, which I was willing to accept. But they quoted me a ridiculously high price for the difference I have to pay for those new dates, which is a completely different price from what they advertised on the website. I mean the difference was like $500!! I told them I will only pay for the difference for the ticket price that's advertised on the website and demanded a refund if they can't deliver. But they refused to give me a refund and told me that all I could do is to just go with the original dates. It's a complete false advertisement. I actually went back on their website and checked the "terms and conditions" for the "flexible option." All it says was "FREE Rebooking! Avoid all airline or agency change fees and penalties. We will rebook your ticket once for different dates at no cost other than the fare difference, if any." Does this sound like what they really promised? They are an evil company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Charged £1000 extra at checkout without notification or option to cancel purchase... criminal!

Call centre refused to honour their online 24 hour no quibble return policy. Even though no actual charge had even yet been made on my card (confirmed by Amex). Complete frauds and liars.

Avoid like the plague.

They are a rip off- The quote was clearly in Canadian Dollars when booking. The cost was $10.00 cheaper than booking through the airline. I got the receipt on my credit card and it was in US dollars which when converted was $ 20 more than if I had booked straight through the airline. Stay away. I called and was put on hold for more than 45 minutes before I finally hung up. Crappy service.

Whatever you do, just run. Do not book any flights with this company. Their staff is filled with liars and they lack integrity. I booked my nonstop flight through this company in April 2019 and a day later I received a call from Traveler Help Desk stating that my flight was booked and I needed to book another flight. Surprisingly, the only other options were a flight with a 6 hour layover and a flight 2 days later non-stop. I expressed that I did not want a layover flight especially not 6 hours. Their agent lied stating that it was the only option available. After talking with their representative, I searched the website of the same airline and there was a straight flight available. NO SHOCKER HERE... THEY LIED. I booked my ticket with the airline directly, called them back and informed them of the actions of their rep and stated that they could only give me a $200 refund. Why would I want a $200 refund when I spent $1000 of my hard earned money on this ticket??? I have been battling with this company to receive a refund ever since. Do not book with these scammers. I will post this review about this company on every social media page that I own (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, Twitter, and my blog) and every review site that exists. This company is disgusting and they will never receive another penny of my money or that of any relative. DO NOT BOOK with CHEAPFARES NOW or Traveler Help Desk! SCAMMERS and THIEVES!!!!

SCAM/ SHADY OPERATIONS!

Booked a flight thru their website at a too good to be true price. Although Cheapfaresnow charged my card, I did not receive confirmation from the airline. I made multiple calls, and they kept assuring me the ticket will be issued.

On my last call, I demanded a refund, or else I told I would file a complaint with credit card company. At this stage they tell me that the fare has EXPIRED, and that I can "request" a refund which they will forward to the airline. Makes no sense, they charge my card, but never booked a ticket on my behalf, but want to contact the airline for a refund!!

I booked a flight for an amount and the charge appeared on my credit card. They later sent me an email telling me that the fare increased and I needed to pay $350 more. Their explanation is that the airline increased it, not them. Really? Then why would I buy a ticket from a company that will not guarantee the fares they advertise. The most troubling aspect of this is that they actually charged the credit card without a confirmation from the airline. This company should not be in business. Buyer beware!!!!

Saw the reviews late but this is for future persons looking to book on this site.
My experience
1. Tried to book online at night TO-SFO return at a great advertised price
2. Transaction froze after filling all payment details
3. Called "call centre" to enquire on status
4. Informed that price not valid hence transaction void
5. Wake up to find that transaction went through at much higher price
6. Called to enquire - kept on hold and finally No explanation given
7. Fortunately got confirmation and ticket from Air Canada - the billing receipt attached to ticket showed they were paid @CAD 60 less than I was billed
Quite the bait and switch operation but at least the ticket is good!

Don't use them!!! scam!! I bought a ticket to China with my Amazon Credit card and after several minutes and no email confirmation I called. Customer service is horrible, a very laid back guy told me: call the airline man. I did and there was no reserve. Then, I check my Chase savings account, which is linked to the Amazon CC and I saw several charges through Paypal. I called my bank, and got my money back. Tried to talk to cheapfaresnow to let them know about the rip off and they took no responsibility whatsoever. A guy called me and tried to explained what happened, was very bizarre because he had no clue what really happened, and of course my bank backed me and refunded all the money. Be aware!!!

My worst experience ever. Bought a last minute flight quoted for 917 CAD and got billed 997 CAD. Just beware, they use an out of date exchange rate to fool you to booking the flight. Stay away....., the agent on the phone lied that he was getting me the flight for 917CAD to get me to keep the flight and the bill did not show up until 2 days after and you cant cancel without a penalty.

Had to sign up just so I could thank you all for your helpful reviews. I had them on one screen quoting a price in AUD and you on another one so I could read the reviews. Someone said to check the currency and sure enough, they were quoting USD which was a lot less than AUD. Why the heck would I want to buy in USD if I was booking a flight from Australia! The operator tried to tell me that he told me the quote was in USD but I was quick enough to catch him out. Cancelled immediately. Thank goodness for reviews!!! Don't get conned by this lot.

Terrible service!!!! NOT A SERIOUS COMPANY
One day before my flight I tried to do my check in and I found out I didn´t even had a reservation. I called them and after a long wait they said that they had a problem with my card and tried to make me buy a ticket double the price. How come they never emailed or called to inform me ??
If I had not called them I would have arrived to the ariport to find out that I didn´t have a reservation. It looks like they have great prices but NOT really

Very dishonest company and horrible customer service. Watch your wallet. This company provides fake prices before booking and what you will see on your credit card. Before booking you will see lower price, when you provide them credit card number, the charge on your credit card will be a lot higher and you will have very hard time to get money back when dealing with them.

Wish I had checked reviews here before trying to book through them. I tried to book a last minute flight for myself and my newborn (had to wait for passport to arrive), my mother was paying for the flight (UK) and I'm flying from Australia. They quoted aud and tried to charge the payment in usd! Needless to say the payment was rejected but no one told me! After calling for two days having not received the booking confirmation I was told this!! They claim to have sent the email but I received nothing but the reservation. Absolutely furious!!! What a hurrendous experience and so stressful! It might not be so bad if I was flexible with flights but my visa expired 2 days after so I needed that flight! Useless and serious lack of communication!

They gave quote for 3708 CAD and charged 3956 CAD.
Part of this charge was bank fee and exchange rate because price was in USD but the other part was clearly overcharge from company side (about 150 CAD). They don't respond to complains.
On their site they put BBB logo but I couldn't find them on BBB.
I don't recommend to buy tickets from them!

Very bad. Don't book anything. They are not even cheap. Charge you more than they say. Don't even to bother customer service. They will blame everything on you or the airline policy. Worst experience ever.
