SCAMMERS!!!! I had to change my credit card to prevent them from stealing my money!!! They tried twice to take a bigger amount than what it was written in my confirmation email. When I called them, they were incompetent and very impolite, they tried to blame my bank by pretending that the extra charges are a currency conversion from the bank’s end which is not true because all my reservations were in a Canadian dollar rate. I stayed 7 days without a credit card, tickets’ prices rise and I lost a lot of money!

I bought 2 tickets online and the name of one of them was misspelled I call 2 min after buying them and they say that it is not necessary change the name because they are going to cancel the flight anyway for overbooking. I was expecting the cancellation but they didn’t cancel and they send me the tickets with the misspelling mistake then a called and they said that fix my name is gonna cost 230 American dollars (my name is Heidy and the ticket was Hedy) so for add an “i” cost 230 and they said that I could do it for free in the first 24 hours or cancel the ticket which I did but they just say that there isn’t any register of me calling that day which I showed them proved that I definitely call many times that day to get this done. They just say “we don’t have any registers of your calls.After talk to many people say said that the best that they can do is 125 dollars which I didn’t agree and I ask to talk to a manager o supervisor and at the end he said we have already taken 125 dollars but we are going to refund from them 50. I don’t know how they took 125 dollars if I never give them any method of payment but they used the one that I used online which is (MY MOM’S CARD) and without her permission or mine they just took the money so we were waiting at least for the 50 dollara back and now they are saying that they aren’t going to pay that back even thought I have an email that confirmed the refund of 50 dollars but they aren’t going to respect that email and they just say “I’m sorry for the inconvenience”. I hope that company broke because it is the worst customer service and they are just scammers.

Do not use this company to book your flight! We hadn’t realized our flight tickets didn’t have our middle name on them but our passports did! 2 weeks before our flight we called cheapfaresnow to add our middle name to the booking and they gave me 3 different fees over 3 hours dealing with them in US dollars (were Canadian) and said sure they can make this exception! I felt like they were trying to scam me so called our flight provider air transit and they said it’s not changing a name but adding a middle name so it’s no problem and there should be no fees! After spending 3 hours dealing with this and getting different rates...we will be using air transit to add our middle names! I have never experienced so taken advantage of, scammed and lied to and I’m sure other people would have given there credit card in the stressful desperate circumstance!! I have never experienced such terrible customer service and will never EVER use this website to book flights ever again!!! I strongly encourage you not to book with them either!

The worst experience I ever had. I already contact the help desk and they want me to pay almost double for the same ticket. I think, as a company, are been irresponsible with their clients and we are paying for your mistakes because they are offering tickets that are not available just to pretend to be the cheapest option.

The worst of the worst. Book international flights for two for 2/14/2019. Just Called. It's two months in advance to change the fights for 5 months later. Spoke to the first agent from their custom service. He told me $400 per person. I planned the dates and called back. The second agent told me $545 in total. I wanted to change, then she told it's $580. It's insane. This travel agent group is thief. Definitely don't use them!!!

I originally booked 2 tickets to go home to visit family with my boyfriend. My boyfriend ended up not able to come so I called to cancel his ticket. I phoned fully knowing i wouldn't get a refund and MIGHT have to pay a cancellation fee. The man i got a hold of would not cancel the ticket because he didn't want to give me a refund even after i told him 4 TIMES that I didn't care if my money was not returned. He hung up on me. I called back and immediatley asked to speak to a manager, the manager did nothing to sort out his employee hanging up on me and instead tried to tell me that it is not necessary to cancel the ticket. I had to explain (in a VERY stern voice) that I would not be the reason the flight gets delayed waiting for a passenger that wasn't coming. I BEGGED him to cancel the ticket (not even asking for a refund and prepared to pay a cancellation fee) to which he finally cancelled the ticket after 10 minutes of me explaining that I did not feel comfortable not cancelling the ticket and delaying the flight.

My husband's name was misspelled on our reservation and after calling repeatedly to have it changed I finally got an agent on the phone who said it would be fine and the airline would change it. Fast forward to the airport a few hours before our flight and we can't board the plane unless the name is changed. I called the airline and my husband called Cheap Fares at the same time to try to get it sorted. Cheap Fares said they could only change his name if he sent them a photo of his ID and for a $300 change fee for our flight home but there was nothing they could do about the flight we were about to board. Thankfully Alaska Airlines were wonderful on the phone and they were able to sell us new tickets and refund our other tickets. We would not have made it without them.
On our vacation we had to repeatedly call Cheap Fares to make sure our tickets were correct so we could go home and we got the runaround again even though we paid their stupid change fee. I should also mention that we paid for flight insurance through their website which they denied and did not honor even though I have an electronic receipt. Again if it wasn't for the airline, this time Westjet, we would not have made it home. Westjet was wonderful and helpful and were shocked by the way we were being treated by Cheap Fares.
We got lucky with our airlines helping us out last minute. I will never go with Cheap Fares again and I would not recommend them. The agents are rude, they could care less about you and your booking and they treat you like your inconveniencing them.

Let me preface with the fact that I think that both myself at cheapfares now screwed up.
I was booking a flight home (Uganda to Canada) and had to book several flights that day.
As per usual, every flight that you book sends you an email confirming that you have, indeed, booked that flight. Great, no problems.
However, once I got to the airport, gave my passport to receive my boarding pass, they said that it looks like I, at one time, tried to reserve a seat, but never actually bought it. Hmm, that's weird.
I called cheapfaresnow and they informed me that my credit card had bounced. Okay, that's likely considering how many flights I bought that day. No problem, here's my credit card number - I've already reserved the seat, right? Not right.
Since the credit card bounced, they never booked it. Okay I get that, but where was my notice? I only ever received 1 email from CFN and that was to confirm my reservation. I NEVER got one saying, Hey, you know how we said we confirmed your booking? Turns out we didn't because of a payment issue. Please try again.
That's all it would have taken. But nope. Never got it. When I called they refused to accept this fact. "We called you and emailed you." Hmm, well I travelling in middle-of-nowhere Uganda. You think I had a SIM card, let alone cell service? No chance. That can't be that uncommon for a TRAVEL COMPANY, can it? I don't buy it.
I'm not sure what the mishap with the missing emails is about. I'm sure it should be automated so why didn't I get one? When I called and asked them to re-send the warning email with the original time stamp, they got flustered and refused to acknowledge it as an issue.
Anyway, I ended up having to pay DOUBLE the amount to leave the country. When I tried to call again when I got home, they gave me the same song and dance. "well you bought the new flight and you used the ticket. There's nothing more we can do."
0/10, save yourself a headache and find someone else; they are hardly the best cheap flight search engine.

And you have to wait in each call about one hour. And then another hour more Waiting. All the time lost the calls. They say Any and if you lost the call and call again another person say all different, they exchange all the time that they say and the Prices than they give you are all the time differents. I was spoking with somebody for that but the call was losing, it was still in the time of 24 hours for any exchange without pay but I COULDNOT!!!!! THE CALL WAS DOWN!!! I LOST THE CALL. Them I tríed again, the call was again about 40 minutes and the person who answered me told me: Im sorry, you have to pay a penalti because Now is more than 24 hours. Really??????? That is terrible!!! The customer service un your company is the more bad thing in the World. Never in my life I again buy anything with you!!!! The person told me that besides I had to pay different for the ticket, and id you see un your web Page the price in the other days that we want yo exchanges the date is cheaper than the we bought. So all is terrible with you.

I called again after this because still I was thinking in changes the dates, again more than one Hour each call, them another one hour waiting, this happenned 4 times a day. Finally I spoke with Two persons and they changed all again. They gave me other Prices differents, they changed the penalti, and each one told me all different. I showed them than the price in the web Page was cheaper so they could not charge me Any different in the price of the ticket but they exchange all, all the time. When I read the review
When I read the review, I started to freak out, especially when I received an email by Travelhelpdesk saying my card was declined with a different confirmation code. I called them and after about an hour, they told me the fare had expired and I was going to pay more. I told them to cancel everything, then they finally said they would honor the rate. They finally processed the same card and sent me another confirmation. I called the actual airline company a few days later and they said they have my reservation, gave me my airline check in code, I logged on the airline website and long behold, everything was correct and booked. I was relieved. I know its dodgy but I'm sure it will be okay, just confirm with the actual airline and get the documents from them. I would book with them again but only the fare difference with the next cheapest competitor is worth the headache. I will update if anything goes wrong.

I booked a flight with this company, but luckily realised within the 24 hour free cancellation window that I didn't need it after all. Call up to cancel, took ages but went ok. Then I get an email saying they couldn't confirm my reservation and to call my immediately. When I do, James on the other line doesn't understand why I'm calling about a cancelled booking and is generally being incredibly rude. After explaining the situation to him for the third time he tells me that my reservation was cancelled after my first call and "not to worry". Didn't trust this, so checked online, says it is indeed cancelled. But still no email confirming this, and no sign of the promised refund. I will definitely never use this company again and am warning everyone I know from doing so!

Made a booking with cheapfaresnow and they charged my credit card twice which included transaction fees being charged twice as well. When I called to ask what was going on the lady that served me, Tiana was extremely rude, and spoke over me when I would attempt to discuss the situation so often that I had to ask her to stop talking. She then advised that I had not been charged twice and did not except my statement until I brought to her attention that it was on my bank statement. Got most of my money but not the transaction fee refunded. Absolutely ridiculous.

I just made a reservation going through Kayak and was directed to CheapfaresNow website. So far so good. Right amount and flight confirmed by airlines. I read those reviews after making my reservation. I started to freak out. But everything seems to be fine.
I still have to fly so I kept a Star just in case.
They also called me trying to sell me insurance. What I don't appreciate. But otherwise, I'm getting what I paid for

Avoid this website at all costs! I booked a business class ticket 4 weeks before travel tomorrow to fly from Ho Chi Min city to Da Nang on Vietnam Airlines, today or the day before travel I tried to check in online but the airline kept coming up with reservation not found. I call Cheapfaresnow I get put on hold for 15 minutes they hang up, second call 45 minutes without anyone coming back to the line, just background music. I call again and demand to speak to a supervisor and it took 45 minutes to get him on the line, Theo, who confirms that due to a system error the ticket was never issued and first they wanted me to pay the difference of more than 400 USD so I set my foot down and he has me on the phone for another hour before he finally issues me with a new ticket at no extea cost. He tells me it is issued and that I can contact the airline again. I did but the airline says they cannot find the booking. Apparently he had forgotten to inform me that I needed to enter the email address of their company, not mine! I call him back he hangs up, then he tells me we were cut off thrn he tells me he does not want to listen to me so I stay quiet and let him continue then I explain I am no mind reader and that I could not know I had to enter his company email address to retrieve my booking. He finally apologises and tells me he lost his temper. He is a manager, the call centre is based in India, ypu get the worst service ever and they take no responsibility unless you are prepared to call l9nd distsnce a number of times, get cut off, and eventually demand to speak to a manager, luckily or miraculously he was prepared to have a new ticket issued at a much higher fare but I had to persevere and demand they take responsibility! In short, you run the risk of payimg but actually not get a ticket only to be shocked at the last minute or when you actually arrive at the airport by which time it may be already too late! Do not use them, I will never use them ever again!

I had absolutely no issues booking two international flights through this company. We found CheapFaresNow through the search site Kayak.com and booked our flights for approx $1,000 each (the correct amount they had listed).
Honestly, I panicked a bit (ok, a lot..) after booking and then reading many reviews on the company, but luckily it all worked out and my boyfriend and I just returned last night from a trip to the Bahamas, which we would have struggled to afford if we'd had to pay full price with the airlines.
We had 3 connecting flights (4 total each way) and it all went smoothly. Although it wasn't direct and was with different airlines (the only possible way to get there from where we live), the flight and layover times were actually better than what we had seen on the Airlines' sites or other searches.
Granted we didn't need to contact the company to change anything, and we were travelling with just carry-ons, so baggage wasn't an issue. We were also super early for everything (just in case!) and checked in with the airlines online.
I can't speak for everyone else, but our experience was a positive one. I wish I had read a few positive reviews to put my mind at ease before our flights. I think it's easy for people to review when things don't go well (which is totally fair!) but I'm sure there are plenty of other happy customers out there as well.
I'd personally not hesitate to book with them again, especially for a shorter, domestic flight.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I booked a flight to fly 26 hrs later on an emergency to get to my mother who was critically ill and my booking was accepted and money taken. The next day I noticed the reference had vanished off my Emirates App and called Emirates who said I was not booked! I called CheapFaresNow after getting no response to an email and they said it was cancelled and that I could rebook at $600 more! I asked them to hold the flight for 10 mins to see if I could book direct with Emirates for my original fare and they said if I disconnected, they would cancel my booking. As I was flying 5 hours later and it was an emergency, I had to accept. I then called Emirates, who informed me I'd been ripped off.
