Here is my experience with cheapfarenow. I booked a long flight with them, at a good price, paid more than 3000 USD for two tickets, and I couldn't take my flight because transit visa issues at the airport in the last minute, so I lost my flight. I start to contact them by phone and no answer, to try to change my dates (so in the meantime I could arrange my transit visa) and then by email all the replays were negative, no dates change, no refund, not even 1% refund. I even realize of a problem with my name in my ticket, and they said it was my fault because I did it online and I put it wrong and it was no manual error from their end. So, my advice is to avoid using them, it is better and more safe to book through the airlines directly, they will always have the best solutions in case you need any change.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. CheapFaresNow is a total fraud..they put one price on a flight and when I booked it they charged me more money than what was stated for the flight before I booked it. I later needed to cancel my flight and they said they’d give me back 1/4 of the ticket price and I never received a refund from them.

Worst experience ever. Booked flight that got cancelled. Missed trip to go home.

@Cheapfaresnow is trash. Never even bothered to send me an email to let me know that my card was declined after confirming my ticket. Tried to tell me my roommates phone isn’t a real number but if they couldn’t contact by phone they should have emailed. I lucked out and am not going to miss work tomorrow but I get to have a fun 12 hours at the airport on no sleep at last minute pricing. 10/10 will never book through them again.

Recently booked a flight on Air Baltic, one way, Helsinki to Vilnius. Would have been cheaper had I gone directly to Air Baltic plus my checked luggage would have been cheaper. The 24 hour cancellation claim is totally bogus. Would not recommend this site to anyone. So sorry I didn't read the reviews first. I usually do, shame on me.

I tried all morning to book certain muti stop flights. After being referred from Skyscanner to this website. I tried to book the price multiple times on their website only to be left with an error message. Each time I went back into the page the flight prices would change. I contacted them by phone to be told that they can do nothing about it. They can not book it for you over the phone or price match what their own website was saying. It was so confusing that I would rather spend more money and go through a proper travel agent/website.

Made a minor mistake in the name and they wanted to charge me extra $130 to correct this; usually this can be done with no any problems free of charge. Appalling. At least I was able to use their offer of cancellation within 24 hrs. Buyer beware.

DO NOT USE cheapfaresnow this is a scam company and needs to be shut down immediately, they booked me a ticket and sent me a reservation code. Got to the airport and was not allowed on my flight because the company failed to send through my payment and they even had the nerve to notify me 1 HOUR BEFORE MY FLIGHT LEFT. When called I explained to them that this was not my home and I was now stranded, THEY WHERE NO HELP they showed no compassion and then tried to charge me another 200$ dollars. This is a SCAM company and THEY NEED to be SHUT DOWN and whoever's own this company needs to be Investigated because they are actually putting people in danger! It's really disgusting and everyone involved in the company needs to be held accountable for what they are doing to people.

SCAMMERS! The website claims that within 24 hrs the air ticket can be cancelled or changed. When I called to cancel my ticket, the phone operator declined cancelling my ticket and started to give me some bs explanation as to why it can't be cancelled. Then I changed the date of the trip and they told me that they won't refund me the difference of the ticket cost. The ticket cost twice as low than I initially paid for. They also said they would charge me $57 for making the changes. TERRIBLE service, SCAMMING customers! Please do not use this so called agency.

It was a last minute decision and I needed a cheap flight for the next day! I came across cheapfaresnow and it was the cheapest fare I could find. So I booked and payed, the payment did not process until 4 hours later, thought that was strange.. Did not receive my itinerary via email, waited til the morning and still no email. I phone cheapfaresnow @ 9:00am, I’m greeted by a man name *Basma? I tell him I have not received a confirmation email for my flight, he tells me to hold the line, and then the call disconnects. Hmm! I ring back immediately, I’m greeted by the same voice.. yet different name *Leroy. I tell him my Situation, he asks for my reference code, I give home the reference code, he repeats it back to me but what’s strange is he incorrectly repeats the letters back and says *G for Jack* Y for Earlobe* I told him no that is wrong *G is for Green* it go’s silent... the call disconnects! At this time I’m fed up! I ring back immediately, thoughts are running through my head that I’ve just been scammed, I don’t have a lot of money to afford being conned! I’m greeted by the same Voice yet different “Hello this ishma how may I help you” I quickly reply “Why do you keep hanging up on me and why do you keep changing your name!!! I know it’s you! He replies: I’m sorry ma’am I’ve never spoken to you before, I quickly forgive and I tell him my situation yet again, he ask for reference code, I give him the code, he says there is no such existence for that reference code! I ask he repeats back the reference code to me, he repeats with the same “G for Jack” “Y for earlobe” NO NO NO G IS FOR GREEN, Y IS FOR YELLOW!!!! I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY ITINERARY THROUGH EMAIL AND ALL I WANT IS FOR YOU TO SEND ME MY ITINERARY AS MY FLIGHT I BOOKED IS DUE IN LESS THEN 4 HOURS!!!!! He quickly replies and says he will send it to my email which he already knows what my email is?! and asks me to confirm if my email is correct.. hmm strange! I’m thinking All along he’s looking at my information but continues to make out that my flight details are non existent!! But by the tone of my voice I was not having his bull crap today!!!! Thankfully he send me the itinerary!! I keep him on the line until the email comes through, it does, he asks if there is anything else he can do for me, I said NO!! And hang up! I ring the airline I’m flying with just to confirm my flight details are legit and thankfully they are!! cheapfaresnow I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH AGAIN AND, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!!!! Typical Fraud.
You will get a good deal in CAD.
Then you will receive a confirmation email in USD.
The rate is BS.
Your bank will convert USD to CAN based on real rate.
Finely you pay more then airline asking on their web-site.
AVOID !!!

Addition to my review:

After canceling tickets right after I got confirmation email from them in USD not corresponding actual rate to CAD I found a charge on my AMEX in 2 days.

The charge was done based on real rate.

I spent my time communicating with AMEX fraud investigation dept.

Hope no AMEX for them anymore.

P.S. The actual charge will come from LBF TRAVEL INC SAN DIEGO

Do not use CheapFaresNow as they try to get more money out of you after you think you have purchased the ticket. I found this site through Trip Advisor and they had the lowest price so I looked into the offer and it seemed okay and I proceeded to book the flight through them.
As soon as I clicked to purchase the ticket I received an alert that my credit card was charged and it was for the correct amount. Processing took extremely long and then it said I would receive a confirmation email in 30 minutes. 30 minutes came and went and still no email. I received a phone call about an hour after clicking to purchase and a man named Bishop proceeds to tell me there is a problem and they can't complete the booking because Frontier airlines had raised the fair due to only a couple seats being left and it was going to cost me about $30 more. They try to pressure you by saying there are not many seats left and to authorize the increased price. I told him they already charged my card and that I wasn't going to pay more and his response was it was a soft charge so I didn't have to and I would get a refund. I told him they are running a scam and ended the phone call.
I immediately went to Frontier Airline's website because the price they wanted to charge me was the same as I could buy it for directly from Frontier Airline's website. They were about 30 seats available for me to choose from on the same flight, not 2. I also called my credit card company to dispute the charge so I would not have to worry about trying to get a refund.

I was not able to finish ticket on website of airline so I checked kayak and found redirection to cheapfaresnow and bought it there.

As I still didnt recieved that my booking is ticketed, confirmed by airlines for second day, I contacted online support to get info. They send me email looking like that, and when I asked chat again if it means its ticketed, they never replied back again.

In two days I get email that fare has increased for 500usd. That my flight is still not ticketed.

So I connect with support that I want refund because they charged me already, what they should not until ticketed.

That was something what they didnt accept to hear and told me they will refund 300usd less in 6-8 days. When I stand my rights they disconnected me always. I went thru all the process on chat with them for 3 times ended disconnected when I wanted full refund only.

They were still offering lower and lower price of new fare and higher and higher refund. Than trying that if I want to cancel it will be shortened by taxes etc what is non refundable as if I wanted to cancel the flight. But they just hold my money and the booking was never ticketed by airlines. Never paid. All what I heard was a gramophone record about the same.

When I mentioned lawyers they wrote me it can be fully refund in 3 months. When I wanted in that 6-8 days what they offered me two chats ago we finished on 7-10days.

I dindt get any confirming email about refund what I was aksing for and they just sent cheeky replies as many times during the chats and stopped replying.

After next two days I finally got the email on next requests.

I wouldnt believe what can happen today with american based company. They do a lot of money on many people who have no knowledge or effort to fight for rights. More than on bookings.

I am happy that kayak listen to me on their feedback chat and is willing discuse it internally.

I purchased a ticket from Vancouver to Edmonton about a week ago and never received a ticket. First thing I noticed was that I only received a reservation code. No confirmation with itinerary. I bought the ticket in Canadian dollars, but was charged in American and end up paying $50 more ($475 CAD, instead of the $425 CAD as advertised.) I noticed this website was sketchy when I did not receive an itinerary right after, websites like cheapo air will send it to you right away. I emailed and called with no response. I contacted my bank and will receive my money back. Please save yourself the hassle and book through the airline directly or a third party website that is reputable. I wish I saw these reviews before purchasing.

I got surprised with a $160 baggage fee! I am absolutely sure I had a 23 kilo allowance. Look into extras as you’re only paying for a damned seat. Cheaper to go elsewhere where everything is included in the price. Like yea I’m travelling one way with no baggage. Definitely will not use this again.

DONOT trust this website, I repeat DONOT trust this website. SCAM, FRAUD, UNPROFFESIONAL, NONLEGIT, FAKE. From my experience, my uncle booked the flight for my mother who was going to travel to Canada. This company made us wait for 2 days to issue a ticket confirmation then we had to cancel it because nobody was confirming it and my mother had to be in Canada within 2 days. If you will book from them you will probably end up being frustrated because all you have to do is calling them all day leaving your work behind. I literally spent 2 days being so involved with this BOOKING ISSUE that I didn't even do anything. hated it. oh good all the trouble because of this silly non professional jerks. MY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Last week I bought 2 tickets to Vancouver
16 hours after they charged the e tickets at my crediti card but did not send me any tickets as suppose to my e mail.
When I called, I was very concerned they told me that they have to charge $200 more because they have to change the names, they must write down the second last name(mother) an in the format that I filled out said only, Name Name an Last Name(1) oh my God never heard that, then when I was so tired to explain the lady that why I to paid any more I asked why didnt send the e tickets, she told me that I have to change my date, because theres no more spaceat at the chosen dates, soy they want to change them for a cheaper date one.
