Do not deal with company, I've been waiting just short of 2 week to get a deposit back and after being promised a call back and no reply from emails, I really annoyed, all nice with you when they want your money but don't care when you want your deposit back

Awful company, phoned up about a car yesterday- told it was an available by salesman so arranged to view car at Manchester branch - when I arrived was told car not available as being valeted!!
I drove a 100 mile round trip to be told this, staff were passing the buck between themselves, nobody taking responsibility or even admitting that they had received a call and had messed up

Took my car into BMW Trafford for a recall. When I dropped the car
Off they told me that they would also do a health check whilst they had the car. About an hour later I got a text message to say that the car had a puncture front left hand side. The tyre wasn’t losing air but the nail was in a position that the tyre was repairable. They asked me did I want them to replace the tyre ? The cost for a new Pirelli was £220. I declined the offer as I normally got my tyres from a tyre garage around the corner from me. I collected the car and took it straight round to the tyre garage. When the tyre was inspected a little tack was found that was lodged in the tread. The tack hadn’t even penetrated the tyre. So there was no need to replace the tyre.
I phoned BMW Trafford and relayed the issue. They weren’t at all concerned and gave the excuse that sometimes the technician can’t see the complete problem !
Well had I gone ahead with their diagnoses, it would have cost me £220 for no reason !!
Beware of brand dealer garages, always get a second opinion!

Williams originally sold the bike that i paid £500 deposit on and offered me another one with carbon that i thought was a bargain but turned out to be a lemon. Bought a new used with low miles S1000rrM sport. found the riding modes for sport dynamic road not right because the bike does a wobbly and is very unstable n difficult to ride on open rds ie A roads n motorways with the bike moving to the left of the carriageway.The issue is with the suspension front and back including rebound including traction control. Charles Hurst BMW service department told me they cant change the riding settings and Williams BMW expect me to use it in pro race modes that i done myself. I'm not satisfied with this because I can't change on the fly and I have been told by Williams Manager Craig to get a suspension specialist,that will void my warranty or go down the route of taking the bike back and they give me trade price for it and look after me with another bike. I don't call this being looked after. I wouldn't trust them because it could happen again with any bike with electronic riding modes setup including suspension, traction control. I have spoke to head office BMW and will take it further with BMW and legal advice. My bike is not fit for purpose, bmw are obliged to repair or replace item under warranty within 6 months from purchase by consumer rights act 2015. N/B I should of taken bike back within 30 days and got my money back!

Great customer service received from the team at Stockport when I took my X4 in as part of a recall. All staff were friendly and helpful. Work was completed quickly and good communication.

2-3 months ago I started hearing a noise from my car's sunroof. I took it to the service. The car stayed at the service all day to fix the air conditioner problem and the sunroof problem. They said both problems were fixed. And they didn't charge me because my car had a 1 year warranty. But the sound from the sunroof was still coming. I went to the service again and they made an appointment for 1 month later. I took my car and it stayed with them for 2 days and when they gave it to me 2 days later, the sound from the sunroof was still coming. They apologized and wanted to refund me £250 and made another appointment for 1 month later. The car stayed with them for 2 days and I took it back yesterday. And the sound is still coming. They told me that BMW can't do anything to fix the problem anymore and that they tried everything.

My dealings have been with Daniel Kirk, from Williams Bolton BMW. I was very keen on buying an older high spec BMW 530e, and had been scouring the internet for a while when an ad popped up from Williams BMW for a car in a fantastic spec, in the right colour and at a good price. I immediately reserved the car.
Daniel contacted me the next day to progress the sale. I was cautious because the garage was over 200 miles from where I live and I wanted to see and test drive it before making a final decision.
There was no pressure from Daniel. Indeed he was keen to get all the prep work done (which included refurbing all the alloys and replacing all the tyres) before I came up to see the car. Daniel was also very patient in dealing with my queries, and sent me 2 detailed videos of the car as well.
The car was at a lower price point than BMW usually deal with, but I felt I was treated as well as any customer paying 5 times as much. I believe there were also a large number of other enquiries into the car, so I’m grateful Daniel stuck with me when he could have dealt with a less demanding and more local customer.
I came up to Bolton twice in 3 days, the first time to test drive and make a final decision, and the second time to pick up the car. On both occasions, Daniel gave me as much time as I wanted (and indeed provided lunch the first time!), and applied no pressure at all. Indeed, Daniel is one of those rare salesmen who retains a genuine enthusiasm for the product, and he clearly wanted me to make the right decision for me.
He did everything he said he would in prepping the car, indeed to the extent of sorting out marks that I couldn’t see! He then put together a very good deal for me.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Daniel, he has been fantastic through the process, and importantly he is an enthusiast for the marque first and a salesman second.
Lastly, the car itself is incredibly refined and beautiful, and has been perfect (so far!).
Update at 12 October: I am still very pleased with the car and the customer service up to the date of collection, but am less happy with after sales support. I raised what I believe to be a reasonable query post-sale, and received an incomplete reply. I have e-mailed and phoned several times since to ask for clarification, but have had no response. So I have reduced from 5 to 3 stars.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Dealt with Tom Roberts, who couldn’t of dealt with me any better. I enquired about a 1 Series they had, Tom was happy to wait for me (I live 2 hours away) for me to come see the car. Made my life easy and the experience couldn’t of been any better! Very very happy!

My first experience with this dealership and its safe to say, they made it a happy, seamless and informative one.
Big shout to Andrew Bauer who managed the purchase from start to finish. He was attentive and considerate of my concerns.
I'd encourage prospective buyers to visit the Trafford branch, excellent service and aftercare.

I had an official BMW recall in september, the recall was due to a cooler issue which could cause the car to set on fire, I contacted williams Stockport who gave me an appointment in March the following year, 7 months later I had forgotten about the recall, williams did not send a reminder text or anything, I then got a message on my info screen that informed me that the issue had progressed and there was a real concern about fire, I contacted williams stockport again, they said just bring it in and we will have a look at the car, I asked for an appointment time & how long I would be there, they couldn't tell me, I was passed around the phone switchboard until cut off. I then contacted Halliwell Jones at wilmslow, the experience was completely different, I was offered an appointment within 48 hours with courtesy car if required. Car was repaired 2 days later. Bravo Halliwell Jones!

This franchise of BMW is not a place you go to feel as though you’re part of an executive brand, so much so my wife and I will be moving completely away from BMW and will never take our current cars there for a service again.
My wifes car came back with grease stained finger marks all over, a few hairline scratches and a chip type scratch on the door like it had been opened against a hard surface.
I complained a number of times but got very little in return apart from an out of office email and nothing on the date of his return. Cheers John Glenn for your almost help.

big credit to Josh Jackson who really looked after me and making sure my expectations were managed throughout. Then on the day making it special for me and my boys when collecting the new car and a memory they will always have so thank you. He always returned my calls and always kept me up to date.
I was waiting on BMW sending me a feedback form but never got it.
Having this new car meant a lot to me and he made sure it felt that way and I'm so grateful

Rang Stockport Williams for some info on passed work done on my car, Julie on reception said she would send a message to the service department and within 30 mins a lady called Dawn Caudwell has sent all I need to know amazing service .. as usual thank you all

Messaged the Rochdale branch a couple of times over three days and finally had a phone call from someone who said they would pass my query on to the used car team. Five days later …. nothing ! Spent my well earned £25000 somewhere else in one day.

I had to take my car to Williams Bolton for a recall job. I decided to wait with my young daughter whilst the work was carried out. Me and my daughter were well looked after whilst we waited. The three female members of staff we dealt with were really nice. Big thank you to Wendy for going out of her way to make sure we had refreshments and my daughter had things to do and being so polite and lovely.
