Matthew from the Truespeed sales team communicated everything clearly and concisely, with confidence, to help me make a decision. I liked that he was able to show a human side, including some humility that he didn’t know everything about everything, integrity is important. He had a script to keep to, of course, but I hope he will continue to let go a little more . Who he is, and how he lets that come through is his most valuable asset! Hopefully my move to Truespeed and the BB service will be a positive one for the long term.

Ryan O’Neil was great, let me know in advance when he was going to come, put equipment out of way in best place .,very tidy job cleaned up afterwards, very polite and knowledgeable , made sure all was working and I knew how to use equipment, would recommend them

Whilst Truespeed's current advertisement campaign proudly outlines that they won't increase their service price for a 24 month contract (obviously...it's a contract), they will however double the cost of the service at the end of your contract, and trap you into this extortionate fee with a three month cooling down period to stop you from getting the new customer price. Even if you agree to enter a new contract with them as an existing customer, the price offered is at an inflated price to the previous year (greater than CPI/RPI), and ludicrously more expensive and on worse terms than for new customers. Truespeed and their customer service know that rural customers have no access to equivalent broadband service competitors (Truespeed received funding from the government for our area), and will treat you accordingly.
EDIT in response to comment:
Truespeed have seemingly tried to embarrass me with the comment about a price rise of £3. For context this equated to an 8.5% increase, almost 3x Feb 26's CPI of 3%.
They've also stated they are applying "common practices", so not actually "truly better" as per their advertisement campaign.

I had my Truespeed installed on 1st April & all seemed fine until I tried to connect to the ESO game servers, it won't allow connection. We had lots of contact with the ESO customer service and they got us to run various checks and concluded the error is with Truespeed & I should send them the findings. It took a week to even get a reply from Truespeed, then it was a generic nothing reply, I replied to the email within minutes with all the information requested - it has now been 5 days without reply, pathetic really. Luckily I kept my TalkTalk connection just in case I wasn't happy with Truespeed (which has a 30 day trial period) & TalkTalk can connect without any issues at all to the servers. They have a week to sort it or I'm gone.
Also they damaged a wall during installation.

Update: Had a call today from Dan today who was very helpful & considerate, at least now I feel listened to & fingers crossed we can resolve the issue. I will update when there is any news.
Ok, Truespeed have very quickly solved the issue now they finally got around to me :) They were very efficient and we now have a happy household. Customer service (Dan & Rebecca) were friendly & apologetic which was appreciated, I have upgraded my review to 4 Stars as the time to get around to me was unacceptable & I still have to repair my internal wall that was damaged during installation.

Having been very impressed with Truespeed’s transfer of my EE broadband to Truespeed and the customer service I received, I am less than impressed with the waiting time on 1st April 2026 when I wanted to speak to someone. I waited over an hour with an automated voice saying I would be put through shortly. After 62 minutes I hung up and sent an email with regard to my account and a credit note I was due to receive. There followed several emails (no telephone communication) over the next 10 days between us. At last, today (10th April) the problem has finally been resolved. To be unable to easily speak to a particular department (on this occasion the accounts department) is completely unacceptable and frustrating. The aftercare has definitely proved to be lacking. Truespeed is the only Company I have dealt with that doesn’t have the facility for me to see my account online and monitor payments etc. The product they are offering is very good but the infrastructure leaves a lot to be desired.
