Ticket Liquidator is a fraudulent …

Ticket Liquidator is a fraudulent company. They told me one price for tickets and ended up charging me $125 more than the ticket price. They then gave my credit card information to another company who charged my credit card yet another price altogether. Everyone I have talked to told me they are a horrible company and will never use them ever again.

I purchased my ticket over a month and half ago and the day before the concert I received an email that I needed to call for support. Apparently when you pay extra to have the ticket delivered electronically that is not what it means. I was told I need to download and app, create user ID's and passwords. I would recommend letting people know this maybe the day they buy the ticket instead of the night before. The rep was very nice and helpful. I am very frustrated, I used a work email (for updates about the concert) and do not have access to that other than at work. If I would have been told this before I would have used a different email that I can actually access from a cell phone not a computer. All I ask for is to let people know in advance.

New York yankees

We are going on holiday from the 3rd October until 7th october and purchased tickets for a baseball game. The date advertised was 5th October but time was to be decided. I received an email asking me to confirm the tickets which I did and a day later I have received an email the date has been rescheduled to the 8th when we are no longer in the city. After emailing customer services and asking if we can change the tickets for a different date we was told no and wouldnt be entitled to a refund and we could sell our tickets online. We are from the UK so selling tickets via a website is pretty awkward for a sale in USA. We have paid a lot of money for these tickets and the extortionate booking fees they add on per ticket is outrageous. So unhelpful and do not think of the customer whatsoever. My order number is 24797251. Although I gave a 1st review with a rating of 1 ticket liquidator have been so helpful in helping me find new tickets for a different game as I wasn't able to receive a refund. For all the help I've upped my review to a 4 star. Thank you for all the help

This is one of the worst companies I …

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.
Not only are they incredibly rude when you call checking on your purchased tickets and actually hang up on you, but they do not deliver in a timely manner.

My tickets say they will be delivered on the day of the ALL DAY concert.

I called and they said that they would be delivered a couple days before. However, my ticket information has not been updated to reflect this. And everyone else I know who purchased the same tickets from other sites has received then.

I was also sent an email to give a company review. I clicked to do the review and it said I had already done the review. I did not give a review, which tells me they are manipulating the system to look like the are reviewed well. I can assure you they would not receive those high reviews.


I would use any other company besides this one.

Thank you for the review. I was able to locate your orders and I do see the delivery date on both of these orders has been updated to October 2nd, which means they will be delivered to you in plenty of time for the event on October 6th.
I do apologize for any confusion regarding delivery of the tickets. As the secondary ticketing market, it is possible that customers who buy tickets through us will receive tickets later than those who bought tickets from a primary source. This is because the ticket sellers cannot ship the tickets until they have them in hand. I assure you that as soon as the seller is able to ship the tickets, they do so.
As for the issue you had leaving a review, I would like to look into the situation for you. We do request reviews from customers on a few different sites in order to receive honest feedback from our customers. We are not manipulating the system to look like we are reviewed well, as you will see negative reviews as well as positive reviews on any review site we are on. If you would let us know, via email, which review site you had trouble using, we would be happy to look into why you were unable to leave a review there. I live in canada, jerry seinfeld is coming to play a venue in canada, I couldn't find tickets so I went to ticket liquidator GIANT MISTAKE. you would assume that, because he is playing a gig in canada, the tickets would be in canadian dollars right? Wrong. those dirt bags charged me $90 american for tickets to go see a show in CANADA. I get paid in canadian so those tickets are a LOT of money. oh yeah, also they charge something called a "service fee" which is FOURTY FREAKING DOLLARS for nothing, so instead of paying 90 dollars canadian (a reasonable price) I ended up paying around $160 AMERICAN per ticket. than I thought 'I can't afford this' so I decided to use their crappy resale business, ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE. so I listed my tickets on their crap website, I didn't want to make any money, I just wanted to get back what I lost, so I listed the pair for 324 which is actually 6 dollars less than what I lost. reasonable. what I didn't see because of the extremely technical language and (literal) fine print, it turns out they charge you 10% for using their crap website, ticket liquidator, take a note, MAKE YOUR SITE EASIER TO READ YOU IDIOTS. So I lost 43 dollars AMERICAN FOR NOTHING. thats right folks, go to ticket liquidator dot com if you enjoy paying people to do nothing. have you ever thought to yourself, 'man I have got way too much money' I have got a solution! ticketliqudator.com your one stop shop to pay people for doing absolutely nothing. (also, once ticket liquidator saw this review they tried to take it off by saying that I didn't actually order from them, but the fact that this review is still up is proof that my experience is real.) REFUSED TO REFUND ME AS WELL.

I am very sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us. Because you did not initially provide us with a name, email address, order number, or any other way of locating an order placed by you, we had no way to authenticate your buying experience with us. I was able to track down your order, however, thanks to the email you sent that was very similar to this review.
Our site does state that we charge in USD. We are a US based site so regardless of where the event is taking place, all prices are shown and charged in USD. This information can be found in multiple places on our site, including the FAQ page and during checkout. I do apologize that you missed this information while purchasing the tickets.
Our resale page also states the 10% commission that Ticket Liquidator takes on all orders. This is actually shown on the home page of the resale site, https://www.ticketliquidator.com/selltickets. You'll see it says "How it Works" with three icons below. Under "You Get Paid," it says, "We pay you via PayPal the week after the event and only keep 10% of your ticket price as our commission." If you did sell your tickets using our ticket selling platform, the 10% commission was clearly shown to you and I again apologize that you overlooked the information when you placed your tickets up for sale. If you sold your tickets via a different site, we have no control over the commission taken by that site.
Ticket Liquidator and the individual seller from whom you purchased the tickets gave all of the appropriate information on the site prior to the purchase being completed as well as before you posted your tickets for sale. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but the site and the seller are not at fault for the misunderstanding, and therefore we are not able to provide any kind of refund on the order.

Dishonest

One September 1st, bought tickets to a concert on September 23rd. Upon paying, I received a confirmation telling that I would receive instructions on how to download them. These Instructions were not emailed to me until the 21st.

On the 20th, I was concerned so I called customer service who told me that the reason the tickets were not yet released is that the venue had not yet released them. She said she was calling the venue, there was no answer and so she gave me the phone number of the venue. I never heard of such a thing and she claimed more and more venues are doing this.

The instructions were emailed to me at 8pm September 21st.

I tried to download while at work on the 22nd because I was told they MUST BE PRINTED. I do not own a printer. I print from my office. I could not log in to the site at work... got and error or a blank page.

I called customer service and she told me that I could not download from anywhere with a firewall. The customer service rep told me to call a friend with a printer (uh, ok... day before show and I'm at work!) Or go to the library!! I'm in NYC and at work. I live in NJ. The closest library is 10 blocks away... and I'm at work. Have I mentioned that it is Friday and the concert starts 24 hours from now!?

I was able to use VPN on my iphone but my phone isn't connected to any work printers. I took a snapshot of the ticket, but it looks so bad on my computer I am guessing they won't accept it. It has someone else's name on it and worst of all, it came from TICKETMASTER and ticketmaster allows you to download as soon as you buy.

I finally called "the venue" using then number that the previous customer service rep gave me and she said, "We have nothing to do with that concert."

This site is scalpers. I wasted $100 and I really wanted to go.

Oh, and the customer service rep said, "That's all I can tell ya, hon."

Really!?!?!?

I'm really sorry to hear you had so much trouble printing your tickets. The tickets must be printed as there is no guarantee the bar codes will scan properly from a phone. There is a different name on the tickets because they are being resold. That means the tickets would naturally bear the name of the first purchaser, who apparently purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster. As for the tickets, they are guaranteed to be valid for entry to your show. If you bring them to your show and they don't scan as valid, we'll be able to investigate what went wrong and refund you in the unlikely event that the tickets themselves were not valid for entry. You will not be eligible for a refund if you do not attempt to use the tickets, so it's imperative that you at least attempt to attend your concert. If you have anymore issues or questions, feel free to reach out via email, phone, or through social media.

SCAM

A big SCAM do not buy your tickets on this site my show it was canceled they do not even want to refund me,as I leave the country for 3 months

it s extremely rare that I write a comment on the internet but there it is so that you do not get like me

the show has been postponed and I can not watch it in the next date

in all the other sites it reimburses us when the event is postponed or canceled

I like the free market. I prefer service fees to be disclosed in advance versus at the time your offer is about to expire and you are frantically trying to finish entering your credit card.

I am planning to travel to Nashville in …

I am planning to travel to Nashville in a week and to my horror discovered that the Grand Old Opry Show for the night I would be there was nearly sold out. Only terrible seats were left. I searched around and found Ticket Liquidator and found good seats right away - YES - they are expensive BUT in my opinion it was worth it - I received the promised e-mail in a matter of minutes and printed out the tickets very easily. You get what you pay for and although I know some others have had significant problems with this company, my first encounter was highly satisfactory.

this was not the best shopping …

this was not the best shopping experience i've had. I was charged a delivery fee and chose a standard mail shipping but the tickets were never delivered and I had to download them online. I have not been able to get any clarification on the unnecessary charge either. I will choose another place to purchase tickets next time.

Double hold on CC

I went to purchase tickets for an upcoming broadway show....496.25. I was fine with that, as I was expecting the overpriced tickets. When I hit submit order I received an error notice that asked me to verify all info and try SUBMITTING again... so I did. Received the same message and tried to call but it is after business hours. Problem is.... now there are 2 holds on my card equaling 1,000.00 I certainly hope I am NOT charged twice when it is the website that instructed me to try submitting again. I will update review once I am able to speak with customer service. 1,000 may not be much to some... but that extra 500 hold WILL affect me.
