Once again, my wife and I reached the annual renewal of our private health care policy with an added complication. After an unexpected high PSA level test last November, I am in the middle of some very swift and responsive NHS treatment for prostate cancer at the point of renewal. PHC has advised a course of action that retains my cover with the existing insurer, and has negotiated a renewal discount, but has moved my wife onto a separate policy with another provider with very nearly the same cover at a better price than our existing insurer. The policy separation means that a claim on either new policy will not have a knock on effect on future premiums for the other person such as might happen if we had retained the joint policy. This knowledge and expertise is what PHC delivers.
