Not impressed and wouldn’t go back
Staff were just walking around doing nothing. Took ages from ordering food to getting the food xx. The food sat under the heat lamps for ages with staff just walking past and leaving it sitting there. The chef was helping himself to chips of the plates waiting to go out to customers. It was the Wembley restaurant at the designer outlet and it was quiet. They would never cope if more customers had come in
Aurelia was a wonderful hostess
Aurelia was a wonderful hostess - great experience before our gig. Thank you so much
My daughter is a coelac while there is…
My daughter is a coelac while there is a menu for Gluten free it was extremely limited. She had to wait 20 mins after us giving our order before some came to take her order. The food at its price was below average. So disappointing.
The waitress was lovely
Awful
Awful! Thought we would go for the 4th July celebrations that you advertised! Free tasters ( 2 small bags of popcorn between 5 people! ) games? What games? Atmosphere was there any? Sizzling fajitas, them didn’t sizzle! Well don’t steak was very rare!! Friend sat there without food and we were all eating! Do you have shares in salt mines? As everything was salty even the popcorn! Chicken pasta was the sauce watered down? Because it had no flavour! Used to love TGI but sad to say will not be retuning!
Disappointing Experience at TGI Fridays High Wycombe…
Disappointing Experience at TGI Fridays High Wycombe
Our visit to TGI Fridays in High Wycombe started off on a positive note — we were seated and served fairly quickly, which gave us hope for a smooth evening. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill from there.
There were five of us, and we were squeezed into a table that felt far too small — genuinely like sardines. We asked if we could move to a bigger table, but were told they were fully booked. Oddly, as the evening went on, many surrounding tables remained empty, so that explanation didn’t really add up.
It was around 30°C outside, and unbearably warm inside. There was just one visible air conditioning unit near us, which was angled downward and offered no relief unless you physically stood in front of it. The heat was stifling, both for customers and, I’m sure, the staff.
Drinks took a while to arrive — not a huge issue — but the confusion really began with our meals. One steak had been changed because they had run out of rump, which would’ve been totally fine if someone had just told us. Instead, we were told the waiter must have written the order down wrong. Only later did we learn it was actually due to a stock issue.
After eating, we sat for almost an hour with our empty plates still on the table, trying to catch someone’s attention to order desserts and more drinks. Eventually, a staff member came over, and when we asked for dessert menus and drinks, she agreed, but returned shortly after with a rather rude tone saying, “You didn’t order any drinks.” We explained we’d been waiting to — she then took the order but still didn’t clear the plates.
After another 20-minute wait, our drinks and dessert menus finally arrived. By this point, we had cleared the table ourselves using a nearby spare one, just to make space.
Desserts came out eventually — my mum had ordered three scoops of different ice creams, but they all turned out to be vanilla. By the time we could flag it to someone, it was already time to settle the bill and leave.
In all honesty, I felt bad for the staff. It was oppressively hot, they seemed understaffed, and a lot of attention was clearly going toward handling courier orders. That said, the lack of communication, long waits, and dismissive service really let the experience down — especially when it was meant to be a celebration for my dad’s 73rd birthday.
We left disappointed and frustrated. TGI Fridays usually delivers a fun and relaxed experience, but this was chaotic and stressful.
Promised refund then never made it
Visited TGI Fridays MK ahead of a theatre visit. The place was virtually deserted when we arrived but still waited 10 minutes to be greeted and seated. Having been ignored at the table I ordered our meal via the app. Another 30 minutes and no food. When the starters arrived the server said she would refund the starters and make sure the mains were expedited. All seemed well, except the refund was never made. It must just have been a ploy for us to leave quietly. Terrible branch, rubbish service. Avoid.
Lunch at Bluewater TGI Fridays
Lunch at Bluewater TGI Fridays....shown to our table by friendly and helpful Elliot, and our waitress Trina was amazing: a huge asset to TGI Fridays, Trina made our visit to TGIs so positive and enjoyable, brilliant friendly service, judged the needs of the diners perfectly, and even treated us to her balloon modelling skills!
No value at all
Firstly the staff were really nice and so was the steak, but half a gem lettuce, 3 x small tomatos, cold fries, and 2 baked up onion rings and coke with no taste and no colour, for £35 was shameful, 2 customers that will never return.

Amazing Service from ROB in Bournemouth
Came to TGI Fridays Bournemouth and OMG what amazing service we had from Rob. Could not fault him at all. Soo friendly, couldn't do enough for us. This man needs a bonus or a pay rise. Thank you Rob, we will be back
Visited TGI Friday Trafford Center
Visited TGI Friday Trafford Center. One meal arrived after everyone else had eaten. We are all NHS and always use our blue light card. That is why so many of us go. Although the app /voucher was explicit it could be used on the holiday Monday we were refused the discount. Had we been told this prior to the meal we would have gone to one of the many more to give what they advertise. MHS staff be carefull of this.
Visited TGI Friday in Telford
Visited TGI Friday in Telford. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, and quickly asked for our drinks order. 2 drinks ordered - one without ice please....drink arrived full of ice. Asked them to take it back. Meals arrived - The pasta dish that stated on the menu came with a sauce, was dry and tasted of just plain pasta. Eventually managed to attract the attention of a server, who apologised, and brought a huge amount of sauce....which was cold. By this point, the pasta was also cold. As we were leaving we were asked was everything ok. Said no - and in response were provided with 2 desserts to take out Free of charge. Disappointing visit.
We had a booking for TGI Fridays…
We had a booking for TGI Fridays Stratford Westfield yesterday at 16:00.
Upon arrival we were greeted and seated, however, the host was rather unhelpful when i asked him to seat at the table behind the one he alloted us, he said i might need it for 4 people and 10 minutes later- if so -he proceeded to seat a party of 2pax on the same table i asked him to seat down! Unbelievable, what a slap in the face! Thankfully our server Fatima was absolutely delightful, smiley prompt helpful we didnt have to wait to get her attention! I havent had such a lovely waitress in a while so kudos to her!! Food was tasty and myself as well as my son enjoyed it thoroughly as it was a special celebration for us!
Thank you TGI!
Sheffield Meadowhall TGI
Sheffield Meadowhall TGI
Very good meet and greet from the lady on the entrance very happy, smiley and polite.
Drink ordering poor, Katie kept going back and forth just to take a drinks order instead of taking everyone's request at once.
The music was so loud that we were unable to hear ourselves talk.
Asked for the music to be turned down a bit.
Server Katie, just said I will ask the manager, no action taken.
Server unable to hear our food order, had to keep repeating it.
Starter cheese rings had no cheese in and they cost £9 for 5 rings and arrived cold.
Main meal did not arrive for well over an hour, chips were cold, no taste, garnish soggy , sesame chicken very tasty ,but luke warm, left half the meal for fear of getting stomachache.
Server never checked in for top up drinks.
The group decided not to order dessert due to wait times, cost and quality of food.
The meal cost each of us around £20 to £30 for 1 to 2 course.
Definitely not value for money and very disappointing.
The bill was £202 and that after 25% discount and only 3 people had starters.
My wife and I visited the one in…
My wife and I visited the one in Meadowhall Sheffield for her birthday and we will not visit again. I had the really BAD burger and she had a chicken pasta dish. I would compare the food closely to the microwaved stuff you get from a Weatherspoons but at ridiculously inflated prices.
£68 for this, which included 2 soft drinks. I am not a person who normally complains but come on, really?! I gave a generous two stars only because our young waitress was polite and efficient.
Would I recommend this place? Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha, guffaw, ha ha ha, er, NO!!
Stevenage Tgi Fridays
We had a large group booking for a recent birthday. Upon arrival we noticed the place was quite empty. Music is too loud for normal conversation. Servers were young and inexperienced. Drink orders were taken twenty minutes after being seated. Waiter confused himself and missed one guest out. Food ordered but not everything arrived. Two guests waiting ten more minutes for their order. Mac and cheese was disgusting, chicken fingers were overcooked. From our table we could see the KFC across the road and knew we'd made the wrong decision
We visited TGI Cheshire Oaks restaurant…
We visited TGI Cheshire Oaks restaurant to celebrate a birthday. There were four of us. When the server came to take our order we asked if we could change the free cocktails offer for 4 soft drinks instead. He said no problem, to remind him later and he would sort it out with his manager. When we came to pay the bill he said we could not have the soft drinks for free, only cocktails or mocktails! He asked if we wanted to order some!? At this point we had finished our meal and were ready to leave! How ridiculous that they wouldn’t do 4 diet cokes for free which would cost a fraction of creating 4 cocktails or mocktails but more importantly we were misinformed upon ordering and therefore left out of pocket.
Worst food I've ever eaten anywhere in the world
Branch : CARDIFF, Wales.
Timeline : Arrive 18:00. Waitress arrives 18:09: Drinks order taken. Drinks arrive 18:20. Food order taken 18:30. Food arrives 19:15. Food was cold, Nachos were stale, burgers were filled with deep fried slop served with no care or attention. This 'restaurant' serves food unfit for a tramp, and charges £22 for one of the worst burgers I've ever been served, and they do it without any shame or recognition of how bad it is, all while playing rap music so loud you cannot talk to the person next to you. If you are a ten year old child you might see the appeal in their fraudulent operation, but for any grown-ups that don't want to be ripped off in the worst restaurant there is - pick any roadside burger van instead, they at least care about what they serve. AVOID, AVOID AVOID.
Unbelievable
he issue that I have experienced was: At 14:30 on Friday 18th April we went to the above store as we have done numerous times for a meal. On arrival we noticed that the restaurent was 75% ish empty. We were approached by a very young person and told she could not sit us ( 2 of us). When i said "but you are almost empty" the reply was "sorry cannot help we dont have the staff" We then left explaining it was disgusting service. At 15:15 i rang the store and spoke to the manager and explained the situation, and to be honest she was very apologetic. She did say she didnt know why that was said to us and of course we should have been seated. She also said that they were full till 2 pm which begs the question did they have enough staff to cater for a 100% full restaurent, but 30 mins later not enough staff to cater for a 75% empty restaurant? Having visited this restaurant probably over 50 times and spent a fortune i feel that the service was disgusting and i dont like being lied to.
It occurred on: 18/04/2025
This meant that We left the restaurant and went to another one where we spent over £80 with them hence loss to TGI
An explanation as to why not only this happened and also a good reason why we should return to this restaurant which at the moment we have no intention of doing so
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.
TGI sucks! Menu incorrect for people without UK phone
TGI sucks!
They have botomless wings on the menu for lunch but when you get there tou need a code which you can only get in the app from a UK mobile phone.
They should put that correctly on the menu or do something so tourists can get a code.
In our country it's a crime to do as they currently do.
Rubbish experience will never go again!
Booked a table at Friday’s NEC for 6pm, allowing 2hrs before we went to a show at the NEC Birmingham. When we arrived there was a long queue of people who had also booked waiting to get to the check in desk. After 20 mins we got to the desk, only to be told to join another queue by the bar of people waiting for a table! Finally after a lot of complaining we were offered a table. We ordered food straight away and then waited and waited! Lots of customers in a similar position were all leaving without eating as no food was arriving. Waitress while apologising had no idea how long the wait would be, so at 7.45 we left, unfed and very annoyed. It was clear that this restaurant had allowed “walk ins” without taking into account any bookings. I was a loyalty member, but I have now deleted the app and my membership. No wonder TGI/Friday’s or whatever they call themselves now is going down hill. Will never go this restaurant again! :-(
