I noticed whilst i was ordering my food that there was a lack of care from the staff and management team. i ordered twice and waited over an hour just for my drinks. I followed up by asking for a manager and had seen that the manager was too busy arguing and swearing at his staff infront of customers, which is very unprofessional. I have never seen such a lack of care from management towards their staff and customers. I will not be going back and i advise others not to.

Staff were good so this review is solely about the food.

Ordered a vegan burger (although I am vegetarian), fries and coke (no ice). I looked at the plate disappointingly, it was about the size of the paper party plates. Ok, im going to go home feeling hungry, I thought.

The burger had in it some red onion, a burger, leaf of leuttice something yellow I guess trying to masquerade as a slice of cheese and a slice of gerkin. Fries were fries.

The burger tasted like those that can be bought in any supermarket. Not very juicy and not too appealing. The 'cheese' was a slice of tasteless nothingless (there are some decent vegan cheeses coming along, but this certainly wasn't one of them).

Coke ordered with no ice, came along with ice. I guess that boosts their profits a bit.

Cost around £22 for an absolutely appalling small plate of poor quality food.

Went home and had a few cheese sandwiches to fill me up. I would never go again if I had the choice.

Almost empty restaurant, but walked all around a couple of times by server before seated.
Drink and food order eventually taken then a long wait for food. Children’s drinks were 75% ice 25% juice.
The slam sharing platter, when it arrived was served on an old metal scratched tray with no covering between it and food, I should have left at this point before sampling the food. Chicken wings and boneless wings were dried out and probably reheated. Quesadillas were limp
/soggy and flavourless. Onion rings were nice. If it hadn’t been for the fact Stratford City was busy and we had 2 hungry 6 year olds we would have left. Best part of the meal was a glass of wine. Never again will I return to TGI Fridays in any location.

After a 20-minute wait to place our drink orders and another 20 for them to arrive, we learned 15 minutes later that they were out of burger buns, hotdog buns, and any type of wraps. They suggested we could leave if we preferred. When I requested a chat with the manager, it took another 15 minutes searching before finding him, only to hear that two chefs had called in sick.

We went to TGI Fridays at Cheshire oaks on Sunday 28th December.
I can honestly say we had a lovely meal and enjoyed ourselves. Service was quick and food was very good.
Service was exceptional so a huge thank you to Liv and Sophie who were both attentive, helpful and friendly. Thank you ladies.

35 minutes for drinks
Over an hour for mains(all food was cold)
Was my son’s birthday waited 45 minutes after food for any form of birthday celebration.
This was a booker birthday celebration made via the website, we called before also to remind the restaurant of child’s birthday.
Only one staff memeber looked like they’re “were with it”
Over £100 for cold food fatty and awful quality meat and horrible waiting times.

Very poor food standards came out freezing Cold waited over an hour she then brought out with a stinking attitude do not recommend tgi in Walsall at all no wonder they all close if you allow your staff to treat customers in this manner gd luck finding a new job as your customer service is diabolical…. Do not waste your time going here ….

Lovely staff member Jen at Cheadle so kind and lovely especially when the place was very busy always stopped to talk and joked when ordering although they were busy food came out pretty quick about 30 mins really nice food but pricey but worth it will visit again

The food was disgusting. Burned burgers, coleslaw was off, food missing, chicken tasted awful. Really disappointed. On top of it, staff very grumpy and seemed lost, not really knew what they were doing. Had a very bad experience and wouldn’t come back.

Arrived at 12:30 and initially thought it was closed as it was empty. When we got the bill we understood why!
4 burger & chips with a drink cost £105! Unlike all other restaurants I’ve been to, TGIs won’t let you use any other discount (blue light) if even one person in your entire party uses the set menu, even if you are paying separately “because you are seated as a table”.
The food itself was bland and everything tasted like oily like it had been sat in the deep fat frier for hours. Limited options for vegetarians.
Would not recommend bothering to go here. You are better off going to the Harvester or Beefeater, same food (arguably better quality), better atmosphere and half the price.
Frankly, TGIs is a rip off, it’s not remotely worth the cost.

The food spot on but the service was so bad. We came for an 18th birthday, when we arrived we sat at our table for 25mins before we were even asked if we would like a drink. They took the drinks order and we waited another 20 mins for the drinks to arrive. The manager came over and offered us our first drinks free which was kind. We accepted. However, we waited to order our food for quite a while. We ordered starters and mains akd there was a quite a wait but we didn’t mind, we had our drinks and was happily chatting. However, from then on the service was no existent, we had to keep finding someone to ask for a drink at this point the place was empty. It was frustrating trying to find someone to ask and then we did find someone it took ages to get the drink. We had to find someone to get our bill, baring in mine there was another server on the other side who could quite clearly see us sat there. Maybe it wasn’t her section and that’s why she was getting frustrated when we was asking her for things but she shouldn’t have shown us the frustration and maybe gone and spoken to the person who was supposed to be in charge of us. I don’t know but then to top it off and all the money we spent and how hard it was to get a drink, my son called a taxi as we was paying the bill. The taxi had said 20 mins wait. We kindly asked the server if my son could have another Diet Coke (these were refillable) and she said….. No, you’ve just paid the bill you will have to go to the bar. We had just that second paid and she saw, I thought that was so rude, even if she had said sorry you’ve paid, we can’t put it through now you will have to pay, fine, no problem it was the attitude, like you’ve paid now go to the bar. I’ve been coming TGI as a tradition for my son who is 18 every birthday since he was 4 and he loves it but for me, I thought never, ever again. No wonder the place isn’t like it is anymore. It ruined the birthday there is just no need for attitude with customers, who aren’t giving you attitude or demands. We were simply trying to have a nice meal for my sons 18th birthday. So disappointed.

Service was terrible, food came late drinks came after, food also was cold and second rate with premium rate , table was stacking and the gents rest room was minging, ordered a second drink witch never turned up but was on the final bill so complained couldn't wait to get out the place , meadowhall Sheffield, trust me don't bother.

Very upset with how this brand is dealing with the sugar legislation in the UK unlimited coke used to be £3.95 i would normally drink around three cokes with my meal now they have only reduced coke price to £3.80 so three cokes with your dinner now costs £11.40 insane. Coke only cost £3.95 because they new you would only drink a max of 3 so price was fair. Now £11.40 for three cokes I will not be dine out much at those prices. Imagine a family of 4 all want 2 cokes that's now £30.40 just for your drinks ludicrous sort it out!!!!

Visited TGI Fridays at Batley today and was served by James Bromley.
Got to say, what a great member of staff! Lovely, helpful but no hard selling. He is a credit to the company! Oh, and the foor was good as well!

Waited 20 minutes to order our drinks, 20 minutes for them to come and then 15 minutes to be told they had run out of burger buns, hotdog buns, & raps of any kind and we can leave if we want. I asked to speak to the manager and had to go and find him after another 15 minutes to then be given another excuse that 2 chefs rang in sick.

Every TGI in London has dirty unsanitary seating and there is always a long wait and the customer service from the employees are the worst, they don’t check on you or take your order for a very long time and your just sitting there looking around waiting for a bunch of unserious people

Booked a table for 4.15 when we got there had to wait over 30 mins at the bar before being seated , was told I should have given 24 hours notice it there is more than 4 people , poor from start to finish TGI @ Castleford

TGI Fridays “Beyond Disappointing – Never Again” ⭐ 1 out of 5 – Appalling Experience at TGI Fridays, Reading (Caversham Road)
If I could give 000 stars on this occasion I would! We booked a table at TGI Fridays, Caversham Road, Reading (RG1 8AJ) to celebrate my grandchild’s birthday — and it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.
Despite being a large family group of around 15 people, we were seated right next to the toilets, where the smell was awful. That alone was unacceptable, but it got worse. The music was deafening — so loud that even the manager taking our order couldn’t hear us, and we couldn’t hear one another across the table.
Two members of our group are disabled and on the autism spectrum, and the extreme noise triggered distress and sensory overload. I politely asked the manager to turn the volume down. He pretended not to hear me, so I called him aside to repeat the request. His response was shocking — he said, “If you don’t like it, then leave.”
That is exactly what we did. We left the restaurant humiliated and with a ruined birthday celebration for a child who had been looking forward to it for weeks. As we walked out, the music was still blaring, and the manager even threatened to call the police — for simply asking for a reasonable adjustment.
This level of rudeness, hostility, and complete disregard for customers with disabilities is disgraceful. The atmosphere was chaotic, the staff indifferent, and the so-called manager completely unprofessional.
TGI Fridays has clearly lost all sense of customer care. I would never return to any of their restaurants again. Loud, unpleasant, overpriced, and insensitive — a chain that should be ashamed of the way it treats families and disabled guests. I will certainly be bringing this to the attention of the Equality Act.
Avoid this place at all costs.
