The quality of the products offered by SW James is exceptional. We ordered a 3 seater, a snuggler and a footstool in Antique Honey and the style and comfort is first class. The customer service too is of the highest quality. Nothing is too much trouble for Warren and his team, and dealing with them has been an absolute pleasure all the way through the process. I would recommend SW James to anyone who is looking for top quality, high end leather furniture.

James, in all honesty this Company couldn't do enough to Please me! my experience with the Company was very good from the start, the service was prompt and delivery was within the 6 weeks as promised. Though all this matters, it was when delivery was made I was so pleased with the Quality, I got to see what I was paying for, (well worth the wait), it didn't disappoint at all, the leather quality and colour was exactly as I wanted, so comfortable, right down to the finer points (the casters) the Quality excellent, wide, robust and chunky casters that look built to last, with them being so wide lass chance of them digging into my Quality Wood finished flooring.

We chose two of the Huxleys with the addition of the beautiful stud work to be even more bespoke. From our first visit to Warren even FaceTiming us ( when I was unwell to attend a second visit) no pushy sales techniques either, they didn’t need to, we were sold!

We love the fact it’s British made too, the quality is superb! The delivery was exceptional the two men that came were so lovely and careful too. I would absolutely recommend a visit as you won’t be disappointed.

We also received a lovely follow up call which was a really nice touch.

We will be looking for an addition in the future!

Huxley 2 seater delivered yesterday. It’s a beautiful piece of furniture, in particular the quality of the hide, just as Warren promised. What a lovely business to deal with.

We had found Sterling online when comparing prices of leather sofas. After deciding to visit the charming showroom at the old mill, we met the equally charming and very helpful Warren. We purchased two Sterling Chesterfield sofas which were delivered this week. Warren kept in touch throughout the making process, which was brilliant, and the delivery service was excellent. Overall we would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a high quality sofa. Without doubt, five stars.

From meeting Warren and discussing our needs, he kept us up to date with regular contact throughout the process. The guys from Edmundson’s who delivered the furniture were also first class. They do say you get what you pay for and we certainly have. The quality is exceptional! Can not recommend highly enough.

We started looking for a sofa almost a year ago tried the large stores department stores etc etc but just couldn’t find the perfect sofa. I then found SW James on social media and we went along to have a look as soon as we saw the sofas there we knew that’s what we needed! However it’s not just the product that makes this company great, the customer service has been outstanding from start to finish. Have just taken possession of a beautiful 3 seater 'Oakley' Chesterfield. I can't thank Warren and the team enough for my very special purchase!!
I have wanted a Chesterfield for a very long time and when my nan passed away recently and left me a little money, I decided this would be the perfect thing to spend it on. We did a lot of research before placing an order and visited a lot of show rooms before deciding to make the trip 'up north' to visit Warren in his showroom in Bollington. We were so glad we made the effort to drive the 4 hours up to see him.
We'd already learnt a lot about his company from the brilliant videos he produces and were eager to try 'the most comfortable Chesterfield'. The visit did not disappoint! After visiting so many other companies, and sitting our butts down on what seemed like a hundred different sofas, these were truly the best. Also, Warren was happy to accommodate for exactly what we were looking for where other companies had failed. I was able to have the exact depth, colour, legs and studding. We'd been looking for a really deep Chesterfield and the Oakley was exactly what we were looking for. It really is a truly beautiful bespoke piece and a wonderful, life long addition to our home. From order to delivery took just over 10 weeks and has been worth the wait. We are now in the process of replacing the other sofas in our home and will be adding footstools too. The only problem now is which style to choose from....but we can't wait to welcome those pieces into our home too!
If you are in a similar position and are trying to decide where best to spend your money, you should definitely make a visit to see Warren or at the very least check out their website as it's full of interesting videos and information on the other ranges they stock.

I can’t say enough good things about SW james. Not only do their sofas look stunning, but they are soft and extremely comfortable which other chesterfields makers aren’t.

Not only that but it’s obviously a close knit family run team with exceptional customer service when explaining options and organising delivery. Warren was absolutely brilliant to deal with and offered great advice regarding size and style. I would thoroughly recommend.

We have had a 4 seat Oakley in vintage green leather for 2 weeks. It is simply brilliant, like sitting with on the comfiest, cuddliest and MASSIVE and I mean hugely deep and tall ( exactly what we’d asked for) sofa you can imagine.

It really is great, took 3 or 4 days to get used to, but it’s now the go to sofa in the house, for everyone.

Warren was great throughout the process, from meeting at the workshop to keeping us posted throughout the build and delivery.

Best sofa we’ve ever had, we will be replacing our others in due course.
