May I first say warren has been first class all the way right down to our feedback about s w James l cannot stress that this is one of the best experiences with any retailer we have had warren spent all afternoon explaining the pros and cons about the leather products he makes and sells.we have our leather sofa and chairs now first class all the way enough said a lovely English company.well done.frank and Marie.

I bought two beautiful Huxley sofas from SW James. I chose this company as my son also has a beautiful leather and velvet corner sofa made by them. The quality is outstanding.
Delivery of the two sofas was exceptionally quick. The two gentlemen unpacked them carefully and ensured they were in place correctly. All the packaging was removed by them.
What can I say. I’m truly delighted with the sofas - the build and quality of material is outstanding and met every expectation. They smell divine.
Follow up service - just to ensure we were happy with the sofas is something I’ve never experienced before and I’ve bought from lots of different furniture companies in my time.
I have no hesitation in recommending SW James to anyone needing to buy large pieces of furniture online.

We have just received our beautiful, vintage green, three seater leather Huxley Chesterfield sofa from SW James and I’m absolutely delighted, the quality is of a very high standard and it’s sooooo comfortable. The service was second to none I received an email every two weeks informing me how far along my sofa was coming all done in a very friendly manner and delivery was excellent it arrived on time and everything went smoothly without a hitch.

I bought 2 mini Huxley Chesterfield sofas. They fit perfectly in to my small living room. The quality is fantastic and I love the colour (Antique honey)

Great communication and service from beginning to end. Visit to showroom is a must as I changed my mind after testing sofas. We have a five seater, vintage green Monty, he’s beautiful, comfortable and loved. We’ve had him six months now. I’ve just given him a clean and used the pull up cream to help keep tip top condition and realised I hadn’t yet left a review, yikes! Sometimes it’s best to read a review of a product that someone has lived with for a while.

From choosing our Sofa online, Warren was so helpful from first contact. Warren sent videos of him sitting on the sofas and describing how soft/hard each one was and advised which sofa would suit our family requirements best.

Once ordered we had regular emails, letting us know what stage of the process we were currently in up until delivery day. We have no regrets and only praise for the team at S.W.James &Co, they have made us a beautiful piece of furniture and I can say six months down the line, he’s as gorgeous and lived now as he was on our excited delivery day.

We were about to buy from a high street / industrial park well known retailer but we're so pleased we found SW James in our online searches.

For not much more ££ we've acquired pieces of furniture that are miles better quality and value than the cheaper built foreign imported sofas.

We bought without actually sitting in them (200 miles from showroom) but with fantastic pre sales support we were confident on the dimensions and comfort and upon arrival they were perfect .

Even the delivery was excellent with sofas carried in, unpacked and sited .

Compared to the mass retailer who just wanted to sell warranty upgrades and didn't seem to mind the product didn't have more than a years warranty, SW James are a breath of fresh air and their products truly are craftsman built with the best materials and super comfortable.

When I decided to invest in a handmade Chesterfield, and living too far from the showroom to be able to visit in person, I was looking for two key things from the supplier - trustworthiness and a top quality product. After doing my homework I settled on SW James and I couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase. My gorgeous new sofa is a piece of real craftsmanship as well being genuinely comfortable and beautiful to look at. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again.

We definitely would recommend this company. From the day we ordered our sofas to the point of delivery it was a very efficient service. We were kept informed of progress at all stages Our two Archie sofas are fantastic, albeit when they arrived they had the wrong cushions on them. Rang them up and Warren sorted this out and now our Archie chesterfields are perfect, good to sit on and look absolutely amazing.

After researching the best "In-UK" sofa manufacturers over several months, we finally chose SW James and how glad we did. Warren's on-going personal service and the obvious delivered quality of the product were excellent.
Now that we've had it a few months, the seat cushions have relaxed and have become so wonderfully comfortable. It's become one of the family.

From my first visit to view the range of sofa styles, keeping in touch throughout the build process to delivery was outstanding. The craftsmanship of an handmade product using skilled professionals and quality materials is very impressive. The personal service and attention to detail from Warren was excellent and a welcome change. I love my two Chesterfield sofas and would highly recommend SW James.

The furniture itself is such good quality, the leather soft and luxurious and smells amazing, like leather should.

We wanted to replace our existing leather sofa with a "Chesterfield" but couldn't find anything suitable locally in Kent. Then we found the SW James website and the story began.. We chose the "Kempster" 2 seater sofa in dark brown vintage leather as it was a similar size to our existing sofa, then placed the order after speaking with Warren to confirm our exact requirements. Warren kept us updated throughout the various stages of construction, and around 8 weeks later our new sofa was ready for delivery.
The delivery was accurate and fuss free. Sure enough there was our beautiful hand made sofa, oozing quality and English craftmanship.

We have been researching sofas for our lounge for some time and to be honest dismissed Chesterfields as being a bit on the firm side and too large.
Then we came across SW James's claim of Chesterfields, hand made in Britain AND built for comfort.
We met Warren at the showroom and voiced our other concerns about size and style and he reassured us that, being hand made by craftsmen our wishes could be achieved.
On the 20th June our new Chesterfield was delivered with great care.Unwrapped and the feet that we had requested fitted.
To say we are pleased with the service, delivery, attention to detail and now we have had the opportunity to experience the comfort, would be a gross understatement.
We are delighted!

First up, I rarely leave reviews, however, S W James is such a great company to work with, I feel they deserve the feedback. From my first contact with Warren to the sofas being delivered, I couldn't have asked for more. I chose to visit the showroom and learned from Warren, just what goes into making S W James Chesterfields so special - a classic Chesterfield design brought up to date, designed for maximum comfort not just looks, and carefully hand made in Cheshire by old school craftsmen, using only the very best materials . I didn't expect them to be so comfortable, to me, you don't sit on an S W James sofa, it feels as though you sit in it, it is just so comfortable. I must have spent two hours chatting with Warren and before I left, placed an order for 3 x three seater Huxley in Honey hide - they are fabulous. In conclusion if you are looking for the very best design, comfort, quality and service, then give S W James a call, you will not be disappointed.

I shopped around for sometime before ordering from S.W.James and definitely made the right choice. Superb craftsmanship producing a very high quality product, first class service with excellent communication throughout, on time delivery. Coupled to this a thoroughbred UK business, unlike other companies S.W.James do not have items manufactured in low cost centers like China, Vietnam and India to then assemble in UK but make everything by hand in their UK workshop. Price wise they are competitive and managed everything including delivery to our home, the delivery company will also remove and dispose of your old furniture. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
