To be honest I didn’t pay a lot so I wasn’t expecting too much The aluminium frame work was fiddly but ok Unfortunately the plastic panels were not good and even the slightest breeze made them buckle even with the clips in place
I got round this by using gorilla tape on all panels to fix them to the aluminium frames and it is now fine

Great communication regarding delivery. Easy to assemble. Quality item and fantastic service and value for money.

Great service from start to finish. Simple ordering system. Kept up to date with expected delivery times and day. Delivery driver was excellent and really helpful placing cabin off lorry and exactly where I wanted it placed on the drive. I did some research before hand and very competively priced and great product/log cabin. 100% excellent from ordering to delivery and wouldn't hesitate to order again.

Beautiful barrel sauna, easy to assemble. Only criticism would be the high sauna seat, which didn't fit in without taking first apart and then assemble it inside the sauna.

Great summerhouse. Went together really well. Highly recommend.

My Norland Scotland 1 Corner Building was delivered yesterday and the driver was very accommodating in positioning the delivery in my requested position.
Also a big thank you to Craig and his team for their excellent job in assembling the cabin today. Great professional job.

I recently bought an inexpensive windowless shed and was delighted by the quality and the friendly delivery.
Excellent written instructions and all the parts were present and correct.
Built onto an existing slabbed base, two of us put the entire structure up in 2 to 3 hours and the roofing felt then took a further hour or so as this is the most difficult part of the job.
Overall, a great shed for not much money and it looks superb.
Although it comes with a preservative finish, I'll be treating it to a good couple of coats of Ronseal or similar in the spring.

We ordered a cabin in December and we received it last week, the delivery guy was so helpful and he rang us an hour before he was here, we put it up this week and coated it with the treatment and it looks perfect, a great addition to the garden 😁

I ordered a garden shed/ bar. The item arrived within the stated time and delivered as instructed (right where I needed to build it) the shed is great and we have had a couple of gatherings in it. I needed some construction assistance from my partner for the roof pieces as they were very heavy but overall the instructions were easy to follow and (with some small reassembly) the pieces all slotted in together perfectly.
The prices here are very competitive! The same brand of shed was available from other more well know retailers for several hundred £ more.

Fantastic service from these guys. They kept me informed of how my order was progressing. On the evening before my order was delivered the truck driver called me to check I would be in and to tell me when he was arriving. On the day of delivery he unloaded my order with his forklift in the middle of a busy road in rush hour which didn't seem to phase him. The cabin itself is well made and as advertised. However, the installation instructions could be a little bit better and more detailed with 'top tips' to do things. I chose to insulate & clad the inside of my cabin and install power & light myself which has made a huge difference in habitability. I also installed guttering for the roof making the brackets for this out of the packaging material the cabin came with. All in all a great product and worth every penny I paid for it.

I ordered two years ago the norland newark 4 log cabin .Transaction went fine, customer service great. delivery went even better than I expected no problems dead helpful. Really good experience no problems paid two guys to put it up for me clicked and slotted together easy and rubber roof goes straight over, I am looking now at the saunas. I wanted to include a picture of it in my garden now but had no bit to upload. get yourself barretine wood preserver used it on mine this year i went with light brown it goes on really nice to the wood great result. i bought mines in june 2021

I purchased 2 Stjarna Modern Shepherds Huts on the 9th September 2022. I was initially a little skeptical of spending so much money online so I contacted Andrew who gave me all the assurances I needed. This is a genuine company with a willingness and ability to meet customer needs. I was initially told the delivery time was about 6 weeks, I was contacted on a number of occasions by Andrew to keep me informed of progress and was absolutely delighted when the huts turned up in 4 weeks. The huts were well cared for in transit, easy to build but most importantly of high quality. No items were missing. I am absolutely delighted with the entire experience and cannot recommend this company enough!!

Excellent advice when deciding on garage design. Delivery was early and the garage was reasonably easy to assemble. Quality of materials is excellent and am very pleased with the final result.

Very good attitude and helpful service prior to ordering the Noland Scottie Log Cabin, BUT this sadly all changed post payment.
The delivery was on time, but 5 items were damaged.(warped, twisted, broken)
Replacements eventually organised, but they were also damaged on delivery. Delivery company blamed, but don't see how they can be responsible for warped wood! I have had to purchase wood locally and will soon be asking the company to be reimburse me for this. (something they have offered to do)
The instructions are challenging!.Essentially they come in 2 parts; namely the Specific Instruction Booklet and the General Installation Instructions. I had 34 questions relating to the Specific booklet and 14 relating to the General Instructions, all emailed to the company. Whilst I did get answers, most were unsatisfactory and of no help whatsoever. There are numerous mistakes and contradictions in the instructions. Whilst I consider myself to be a very capable DIY'er, these really stretched my ability.
Eventually spoke to the gentleman I had arranged the purchase through and whilst being quite cross I was very restrained. When it became quite clear he had no answers for me he refused to deal with me any further on the phone and hung-up. I have been unable to get any replies from him since that date. A return was discussed, but I was advised it would cost me at least £200 for collection; obviously the person in question has no understanding of the distance-selling rules and regulations. Very poor. Subsequently, most of my problems were resolved by a very helpful lady in the office and I was even given the number of a joiner who apparently builds them on behalf of the company. As it turned out I didn't need to call him as I was able to call on a friend for assistance.
The whole build took 4 days, including insulation and shingles, HOWEVER, it was impossible to come up with a solution to competently fit the roofing insulation between the wooden roof and the felt, prior to installing the shingles, as was advised. The cuts are very difficult and once attached it really didn't feel very secure. Consequently, plan B was to fit the insulation between the floor beams and this can be done at a late stage as the floorboards go down right at the end of the build. The roof simply has a felt covering and then shingles on top. I was referred to the website to fit the shingles, however the drawings are very poor and even with magnification they are illegible. I resorted to Youtube to find out how to do it.
The log cabin is now finished and looks good, but I must admit the way things have worked out are very much by good luck than good judgement or any help from the company. The fact that the doors fit perfectly is a miracle given that there is no explanation on how to set these at the initial stage. (there are detailed instructions if you happen to be building a standard 4 sided building, but this particular model is a corner cabin and as such has effectively 5 sides!)
In summary, this was not an easy task and certainly didn't conform to the sales literature ie, 'Simple to assemble' 'Ideal for the DIY builder' Interestingly, in Section 1 of the General Installation Instructions it states "In order to prevent complaints later on, CONSULT AN EXPERT" Which DIY builder is an expert?
Would I recommend Simplylogcabins? On balance probably, but with a huge dose of caution. The customer service varied from abysmal to very good depending on who was on the end of the phone/email.
There are plenty of companies to chose from in this market and I would suggest you have a really careful think about what you are expecting and what options you have when the service doesn't meet your expectations.
Poor instructions are difficult to overcome; Having spent a few thousand pounds, poor customer service is both unacceptable and very frustrating. Misleading sales information is just wrong.

I wrote to the CEO back in June this year to advise him of the problems I had encountered and after 4 months I am still waiting for a reply............I guess everything comes from the top!!!!!

We are vary happy with all aspects of our dealings with Simple log cabins we can't recommend the Lugarge Prima 5th Ave summer.house .We had our local builder erect it and lay the concreate base (essential it is 100%,level ) this all went well took two days .The double glazing is standard,very cosy.

The pack arrived with damaged timbers, which to be fair to Simply Log Cabins was resolved, but with me having a refund to the value of wood filler, which I had to repair "in situ".

Less than a year on, the cabin has now started to buckle and twist itself apart which seems to be from timbers that were largely green and untreated, it is as if they have decided they do not like their current location and are making a run for it, but very slowly and to the detriment of the overall structure.

Begging and pleading with each plank has not worked, nor has the promise of a good foot rub and new coat of Timbercare.

I have tried to yell at them instead with threats should they actually make it out of the cabin, but this resulted in my very kind neighbours calling the gentle folks with white coats and odd wrap around jackets to speak to me.....

Now I have escaped MacGyver style with a bent paperclip, rubber band, biro and half eaten sandwich, I am back at the cabin.

I have now resigned myself to converting it to a bird watching hide, as I can simply peek through the gaps from within, although my cats occasionally make a spirited run through the larger holes at the birds we should be watching together, and my boys pass their scooters to each other without having to unlock the door....

we ordered a log cabin and found simply log cabins really helpful. The only advice is get well prepared before delivery and have your base ready.

Bought the Palmako Caroline as it looked exactly what I wanted, slightly different with the hidden roof slope and the sliding shutters. Arrived as expected but certain parts were missing so could not finish building it. Had to wait months on the parts , was told several times they had shipped but when chased the had not and was offered £50 for me to buy the missing logs and facing boards locally - sorry but local B&Q don’t really stock spare logs and facing boards for a custom made log cabin. Eventually parts sent, but this time of year what’s the point, need dry weather for days to sort it out.
Instructions are pointless and you have to be really technically minded to sort it out. The hidden slope roof is impossible to fit, just not possible and sliding shutters again impossible to fit. What is required is just not there and you can’t attach a roof or shutters to fresh air. Had no explanation how they fit after taking pictures and asking for explanation.
I’ve ended up with a standard slope roof log cabin with windows on the side. I paid more for the different look and ended up with same as what I could get for much less and elsewhere. Once they have the money it’s a case of blame the factory for everything and nothing to do with them. It’s them I paid the money to so they should be accepting responsibility. Would definitely not recommend buying from SLC.
