The Log Cabin ordered before season but get very late after season without excuse much after the deadline
Plenty of parts damaged or curved after contact Gudrum office absolutely lax response
The worst experience I got with the roofing not recommended at all they sent me a roofing tiles but no seal and nails after I contacted them and ask for return possibility absolutely lack of interest where is the law about 28 days if the customer not happy I don’t know….

Leaking log cabin. Useless seals supplied but fault continues. Company now refuse to respond to e mails requesting their next course of action. Deplorable customer service.

Bought Ines 1 summerhouse back in August.
Delivery was stress free. Had our Summerhouse professionally installed by independent joiner.
Mounted on “floating” wooden base. Joiner has done a superb job and said he was impressed by fit and finish of all components. Result is lovely, with a cosy,warm , draught free and waterproof building. Also very quiet and a cosy oasis in our garden . Absolutely love it, and excellent value overall.

From ordering, speaking to a very helpful team at Simply Log cabins, to the delivery everything went smooth and great. The delivery guys were great, we have a large area out the back of our garden, they delivered it round to that area from the front of the house, above & beyond.
The Cabin was well stacked and packed.
Instructions were generic for a few of the cabins, so recommend reading them fully before starting to make sure you have the right ones.
Installation and putting together was straight forward and our cabin The Norland Warrington 13x8 Feet.
It took 6 hours to get the base & Walls up & then another 5 hours the next day to complete the roof, floor & add the felt.
We were advised by a family member that had built one to make sure we got the sealant on and made it waterproof as we built.
The cabin is fully operational, water tight, it has been insulated, we have run power in and it is a utility room and office space for 2 people.
We are absolutely made up with the cabin, it has cost less to buy and kit out than other outdoor solutions available.
It was really easy to follow instructions and put up, my husband done it all by himself.
The only worry we had was there were a few screws and nails left over, which is always a ohhh no moment. But we realised it was like the instructions the packs were for other log cabins also.
Only regret is I didn't order a bigger one as it is so lovely.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a outside space that has character & easy to build.

Delivery took almost twice as long; no one communicated updates until I enquired myself. No reason given, no apologies nor gesture of goodwill. We are talking several weeks delays not a couple of days.

I secured a professional builder whom I have been trusting for years and used to build sheds to build mine.

Start of the build, evidence of two missing Fascia. No time to wait for new delivery. We had to buy locally ourselves. I am waiting for refund.

End of the build, here are the builders comments - they were two of them.
1) A number of batons had to be joined together to create a stronger beam - it would be more cost effective & stronger to supply the correct size wood timber.
2) A number of batons had to be cut to add length to another baton to create the required piece - it would be more cost effective, stronger & neater to supply the correct size wood timber.
3) Wood work required to cut slots to support beams - this should be pre-made before delivery to avoid any issues etc.
4) A number of the wooden parts were not true/warped.
5) The timber in general appears to be unseasoned producing a lot of sap.
6) The door supplied is distinctly warped.
7) Fixings for doors (catches etc) are way too small to be reliable.
8) All fixings (screws etc) should come in separate identifiable bags by size not just all jumbled in one.
9) The instructions are not detailed enough where exact dimensions are required to cut wood in relation to the location. Increase the size of the image to add more dimensions in relation to the precise location.

I shared photo evidence for the above warped door, and I will have some left over wood from the cuts.

All this meant, it took my builder and another builder 2 full days to build diligently. so a grand total of 4 days to build a shed with the financial implications this means.

I shared the feedback with SimplyLog cabin customer service team and they are acknowledging nothing, in essence saying the builders did not know what they were doing, and that they are in no wrong.

I am rather flabbergasted by the lack of acknowledgment, and even more so in front of evidence.

I will not be buying from them again and will recommend others not to buy from them.

Such a shame.

What a company! Cabin delivered a week late , potentially not their fault but then tried to charge me for redelivery. Five six pieces of wood not fit for purpose, one piece had been taped up and sent broken, but obviously quality control is very important and no one has tape on the factory floor🤔Informed by company well its not weight bearing so what's the problem, and it will be a 4 to 6 week wait for said piece of wood which is the first piece to put down. Now September an still waiting, last email on 27/8 ignored. Crappie attitude towards others hard earned money, as long as its in their pocket, they couldn't give a dam. Don't bother

I ordered a Lasita Edinburgh 1 log cabin, the company were helpful on the phoneline advising on technical details.

There were no installation instructions except for a printed check list and my builders would have liked some written instructions with the delivery, they struggled to identify the smaller pieces of wood and put the windows in upside down!

Otherwise the cabin is sturdy and the quality is good to for the price. Be aware that no insulation for the floor is available to purchase from the company, I was advised to buy this from a builders merchant which we did.

Great service , cabin was delayed but I was kept informed. Went together well, although weather was a pain. Had one problem which an email sorted out(how to change direction of lock ). Really pleased with product (Baltimore)

Great company, really helpful when I changed my mind on the building I wanted. Really good value and well made cabin. Instructions were OK but as a joiner I would say it would not be for the novice.

Very helpful regarding delivery and switched to smaller truck to facilitate our access on site.
I think those self-building the cabins would benefit from say a video tutorial of how to assemble it correctly. It took a lot of head-scratching to work out how some of the elements are assembled, and in which order. The building instructions are minimal and multi-language. Other than that the cabin is good quality and looks great!

The instructions was appalling it told you what you got and what not to do but not how to build it.

I got an email that my order was dispatched last Tuesday . Upon following up with the company today , I got a response that I would be getting a tracking number in the next 48 hours which is great. However, to my astonishment, the delivery just randomly showed up with no warning (no phone call , no email , literally - NOTHING) today . Thankfully I worked from home but I can only imagine the aggravation if no one was home. Poor communication, especially I used DX delivery company before so I am not sure how no one made sure they’d send me a text or email when I can expect them … another thing is , there is absolutely no timescale for delivery on the company website , just says the most vague „as soon as possible” which can mean anything… to sum up, the price of the products was fairly low and I was lucky enough to be home but I could do with better communication…

Gorgeous summer house, made so well too! Definitely not a garden shed sort of building. Great service too :-)

Excellent service and product

To be honest I didn’t pay a lot so I wasn’t expecting too much The aluminium frame work was fiddly but ok Unfortunately the plastic panels were not good and even the slightest breeze made them buckle even with the clips in place
I got round this by using gorilla tape on all panels to fix them to the aluminium frames and it is now fine
