Returns process horrendous
Excellent service until you want to return an item. Then the process is horrendous and takes ages to get your money back. Be prepared for endless calls and emails and then they don’t return all your money !

Beware when when ordering from this company. I ordered 3 'White' bar stools. The box said 'white', so whilst I was out my son assembled 2 of the 3. When I returned home, I saw that the stools were clearly not 'white'. They are 'off white'. There is nothing in the description to imply these stools are not white. After I discovered they were off white, upon looking through the website again, I noticed that they sell some products listed as 'bright white'. They clearly acknowledge that not all products are white, but do not mention this in the listing.
The customer agent stated that as 2 of the 3 stools had been assembled they could only accept 1 back. Adding insult to injury, they want to charge me £15 to collect the item.
These items are clearly misrepresented on the website, white is white, not off-white. When comparing my picture to the one listed on their website there is clearly a difference in the colour between the 2 pictures. The items I received are not of the colour of those which are shown on their website.
The customer services agents obviously just follow scripted answers when dealing with customer complaints. There was no deviating from the script and the customer service agent terminated the call!!
Although the prices are very competitive, buyers should consider if they are willing to take a chance on the reliability/accuracy of the description and pictures on the website before placing an order.

Thank you for helping me when one of our stools was not perfect! Simply Bar Stools sent a new base and gas lift when we showed them that the welding was not as it should be on one of our stools. Really appreciate your helpful response.

Perfect quality bar stool

The price ,delivery and quality is amazing.It was reduced in the March sale and delivered free by the next day.Assembly couldn't have been easier.I am so happy with my cream Aldo stool,it suits the kitchen perfectly and has been much admired.
Wonderful Product and Service
I am absolutely thrilled with the product and service I received from Simply Bar Stools and would not hesitate to recommend this company. I ordered stools in slate grey, but was a little worried as some reviews said they were more taupe in colour. I can confirm they were definitely grey and I am thrilled with them. I purchased 4 stools and had a problem…
I purchased 4 stools and had a problem with some of the components when trying to fit them together, I contacted customer service (Billy) who after I explained what the problem was arranged immediate replacement parts which arrived a few days later. The stools are now completed and look great in the kitchen. I congratulate this company for the positive way they deal with customer problems many other companies could learn a lot from Simply Bar Stools

Quick and easy ordering. Dispatched and delivered promptly. Product damaged during delivery but replaced immediately with no fuss or debate. Really good service.

Really bad we order chair from them after week did not here any think back i had phone up they said they do not do them chairs any more order different one said it was said it was coming as not why not just tell truth it can not be hard to do i will never shop with hope get my money back.

I had a problem with the stitching on…
I had a problem with the stitching on one of my stools. I emailed the company they responded in 24 hours for my order info, 48 hours later an email saying they will deliver another stool seat within 1-3 days and they did deliver in that time, couldn't be happier with the service plus they look gorgeous in my new kitchen 😀

Fantastic service from this company
Fantastic service from this company. Stool I ordered wasn’t in stock. Offered an alternative or would I be prepared to wait. Waited, it was less than a week. Stools arrived and I’m absolutely delighted with them. Highly recommend.

Great Customer Service
Ordered a bar stool for my son's birthday. Unfortunately the wooden seat arrived damaged. Not a shipping issue as far as I could tell.
Simply Bar Stools immediately sent a replacement but this too arrived damaged. Naomi went to great lengths to have the second replacement checked before packing and sent photos as well. The part arrived promptly and undamaged. My son now has his birthday present.
Excellent customer service and well done Naomi.

Purchased an extra part for our bar…
Purchased an extra part for our bar stool.
They accidentally sent the wrong part.
But as usual Billy sorted the problem within a day or so.
Very happy with excellent service.
Would definitely recommend Simply Bar Stools.

I bought a bar stool in August 2025 …
I bought a bar stool in August 2025 not a cheap one about £140 plus the footrest broke twice by Xmas 2025 they said I was using the footrest to climb on to the stool which I wasn’t the first time a replacement was sent but the second time a £20 was requested to replace the damaged part then a promise of a free replacement part was offered. I am a 67 yr old man with a bad knee who has to pay someone to do my repairs. Do not buy anything from this company.

Excellent product, well priced.
I needed a single barstool for my home photography studio; the colour was immaterial, and I had a good discount on the stool. It's well-made, and it came as a one-piece unit. I couldn't be more pleased with the stool, the communication, and the service. Simply Bar Stools five stars.
Unfortunately, DHL delivered it to the wrong street and left it in full view in the rain, claiming it had been delivered to me. At least I found it after some Sherlock work on the photo.

Need to sort out their quality control
Need to sort out their quality control! Please check your batch numbers! Was sent two very different stools of the Snella. One was well made, good material and good seat size, the other was much more inferior, small seat size, awful cheap material and less padding. Though customer service was helpful they could only offer the inferior stool for replacement, therefore stuck with bar stools of cheap quality. Having had them a month now they are incredible uncomfortable due to lack of padding and small seat size and the material has a blue tinge where people have sat with jeans on them. Dreadful stools and would NEVER buy again.

Defective product and awful customer service.
Was delivered a defective chair and have been trying since 27/12 to get it sorted. Customer service is appallingly slow taking at least 2 days to respond to any query. Because of the defect they now want a picture of the stripped screw that didn’t fit - which of course is in the bin - before they’ll send a replacement. What a complete joke. Poor quality chairs compounded by terrible customer service. Shop elsewhere.

Absolutely FANTASTIC service and chairs
Absolutely FANTASTIC service from this company. My elderly mum bought two leather bar stools and she was very happy with them until they had a problem. I contacted the company on her behalf and they were incredibly helpful and organised replacement parts.
I would say their customer service is absolutely 10*s.
The chairs are of a very high quality and the leather is beautiful.
EXCELLENT!

Be aware
Be aware of this company the customer service is non existent.
They are great when taking your money overnight but try returning and getting your money back is another thing.
You call them and they are so rude but buying from them is another thing nice as pye.
I am still waiting for nearly £300 after the carriage fee they charge for the return of stools that I returned on the 12th Dec, it can take up to 10 working days they said (up to not will ) but how come they can take your money overnight to send out the next day but giving you it back they they can’t tell you and don’t know when it will be.
When I called them to ask if I would receive it before Christmas the reply was I can’t guarantee when it will be …shocking really,
I will never buy from the company again.
Stay away awful customer service very rude.

Still no refund on the 31st December, to be then told by customer services that they haven’t received them to there warehouse yet and are still with DHL due to the xmas period which is a load of rubbish as DHL have proof they were delivered back to there warehouse on the 15th December, and have sent images with details over to them by email which is a waste of time as I have sent two emails and never even had a response from them even though they are sat on a few hundred pounds of mine .
Honestly stay away from this company they just tell you a pack of lies when you call them.
