Very slow delivery, poor communication from seller, had to accept a different ladder than i ordered.

Bought ladder and stand off as a package they don't fit together and stand off is poor quality and expensive for what it is ladders. Co. Uk say they sell stuff together that don't fit so it's my problem the returns policy is painful and slow I really wouldn't bother just buy from screw fix and save the bother

Avoid. Useless. I cancelled an order and they ignored the email. Refused delivery and contacted them again. Was ignored again. Called them 10 days later and unhelpful.

On February 24th Ladders.co.uk delivered me a ‘new’ ladder that looked like it had been used for six months.

It was marked or scraped in 13 different places, on frame and rungs. Not just marks you could wipe off — thick scrapes in the metal.

I took photographs and sent them to their customer services and called them. The person I spoke to acknowledged the damage, and said she would arrange a collection and replacement two days later, on Thursday 26th.

On Thursday 26th, I take a day off work — no one arrives to collect. So I call Ladders.co.uk again and they say they'll call me back with an explanation. No call came, so I call them again hours later. At this point they claim the 13 marks and scrapes on the ladder are 'cosmetic' and offer me a very small discount.

I refuse the discount and ask for a ladder in new, not damaged condition. They say they will schedule collection and replacement of the ladder on Tuesday March 3rd.

On Tuesday 3rd, I take the day off work — no one comes to collect.

So I call Ladders.co.uk again and am told that their supplier is shut for the day, at 4.30pm, so they can't find out why they failed to show up for the second collection. I'm told they'll call me back the following morning with news.

The following morning there is no call back, so I call at 3.30pm, and ask AGAIN for a collection. I'm assured it will happen two days later. I am also sent a passive-aggressive email stating: 'Please be aware if this arrives also with small cosmetic marks that have happened in transit we will not collect'.

No apologies for failing to show up on the first two collection dates, wasting days of my time, or the original product they sent me that was damaged.

On the third scheduled day of collection, their courier finally shows up. With a replacement ladder.

Read all the one-star reviews: I recommend you DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

Shop with a company that understands they should provide products in new condition, does not mess you around with false collection dates, and treats you with respect, not as if you're a nuisance.

Product I received was perfect for my needs and subsequent request for a duplicate invoice was actioned immediately.

Avoid at all costs
Gave wrong advice, sent out a faulty ladder. After contacting took a week to reply to an email. Told me via email the ladders stabiliser would be replaced and they have contacted the supplier who have dispatched a replacement. Waited a month to be told the ladder is not faulty. Refusal to refund so section 75 with barclaycard it is. Please avoid this company as the reviews are also consistently very bad and back up my review. How can a company like this still trade is beyond me.

I am very pleased with my ladder thank you.

Didn't even arrive. I was told to keep an eye on my tracking number for DX delivery.
They were damaged in transit and returned to supplier I wasn't told and a refund hasn't been issued even after chasing a couple of times. I have now asked my credit card to step in as I haven't heard from Ladders.co.uk for the refund.

First ladder ordered came damaged with severe dent in rung. Organised replacement delivery, and the next ladder also came damaged with significant dents and scratches on the rungs. Customer service was quick and helpful but delivery of goods and quality was awful.

Ordered a set of triple extension ladders via ladders.co.uk at a cost of £316. They got the postcode wrong so they arrived late !
On arrival by courier the consignment was refused due to rung damage on the ladders and returned with photo proof etc.
It has taken in excess of 3 weeks to get a full refund following emails and phone calls and finally threatened with Mastercard section 75.
Customer service gives every excuse why refund has been delayed !
This company will only give you a major headache and waste your valuable time and expense if you need to return the item. In my opinion I would avoid this company at all cost and consider a more reputable company like "Screwfix" at the same price.
