Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience, especially as I am a return customer having made 20+ purchases over the years.
I was sent a Lush bar stool which was imperfect. I believe it has already been returned as the cap was missing. The bar had a terrible defect (the finish was so different from the other 5 I had that it would look ridiculous). The fittings and instructions were missing.
I contacted customer service who could not have been more unhelpful. They clearly wanted me to keep a poor quality item which I refused. I asked for a replacement.
I was then received this text from Clara:
“In this instance we will arrange a collection for a full refund rather than a replacement as we do not think that you will be pleased with the quality of any of our other items we could send.”
I was appalled and have since bought almost identical items from a competitor for a quarter of the price!
I will not use this company or recommend them ever again. They have a lot to learn.
I have also since read a lot of negative reviews and mine is just one more.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Atlantic Shopping and would strongly caution others before ordering large items from them.
The table I received arrived in poor condition. The delivery drivers left the boxes carelessly, were unhelpful, and showed little regard for the condition of the item. They refused to help me bring the boxes up to my home, so I had to scramble to hire someone else to bring up to my 4th floor flat. Upon unpacking, I discovered multiple issues: the tabletop was visibly damaged and peeling, and an internal weight in the base had broken loose—something that could not have been identified at the time of delivery.
To their credit, the company did issue a full refund. However, the situation did not end there. The table is extremely heavy and had been brought up to the top floor of my home by me. Despite the item being faulty, Atlantic Shopping refused to arrange collection unless I repackaged it and moved it to the ground floor myself—something that is simply not feasible for one person.
When I explained this and referenced my rights regarding faulty goods, I was told their courier could not collect from above the first floor and that packaging was my responsibility. I offered reasonable alternatives, including arranging a council collection, but instead of working toward a solution, my messages were eventually ignored and I was blocked on WhatsApp.
While I did receive a refund, I have been left with a large, damaged piece of furniture that I cannot move on my own and must now pay to dispose of. This has been a stressful and frustrating experience from start to finish.
I hope this does not happen to anyone else, but based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering bulky or heavy items from this company.
