Refusing to cancel my account

I have my account for the past six months. These attempts have been followed by six emails, at least. The phone number states that my call cannot be completed as dialed. 1 (844) 284-4174. They have continued to attempt to charge my account. When I did speak with someone and provided them with the account number, they said they had no record of the account.

The resume came out ok it’s a basic build service. But of course when you go to cancel the subscription you no longer need. It is impossible I don’t recommend signing up, it will be miserable when you try to leave

They continually charged my account…

They continually charged my account without a monthly bill or any type of notification. I signed up for a trial, not to get ripped off for a year. Do not trust them. Total scam and very misleading.

I was very pleased with the serviced

I was very pleased with the service, I did a wonderful resume and received a request for an interview, however I thought I had cancelled it before the 14 days were up, however on July 4th , I had a $34 payment come out of my account, I called and received a wonderful young lady but I had trouble hearing her and understanding what she was saying, I think I received a partial refund but not sure

I used this 1 time for the free offer only to find you have billed me for months. The lady I spoke to today was to refund all the billings but only did 1 month refund. Will never recommend you!

Subscription cancelled

Good experience but I would like to mention that I have cancelled my subscription right after downloading my resume. My subscription cancellation date is 18th June (I have a proof of it). Please make sure no money gets deducted from my account in future!

Fraudulent Methods

I signed up for Resume Nerd believing I was making a one-time payment. I never signed up for a subscription!! I was later charged multiple times without clear consent, warning, or transparency about a recurring subscription. No easy option to cancel but they will keep pulling money from your account!!! This practice is unacceptable! FRAUD!!!!!! Filing complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau.
Your website says there is a tab for cancelling subscription but it doesn't. You guys are fraud of the first order. New method of Fishing Scam

Upsetting experience

I made the 14 day trial purchase for my resume, which costed $1.75. However, what seemed like a one-time payment was actually a recurring subscription for $34.75 a month. I never signed up for a subscription. I had been getting charged monthly from February and didn't get asked for any transparent/clear consent. No email receipts even. This is very unethical and judging by all the reviews, they are aware that the recurring payments are not clear at all, but they are not doing anything to change their system or be clearer with their subscription plans. I'm a student living on a budget and this is really upsetting as I thought their pricing was very fair and affordable for students like me. Very disappointing as it would have been a pleasant experience otherwise. I haven't even logged in since the first purchase of $1.75. This could've been my gas/food money and this is really really disappointing and upsetting to think I had been paying for a service I have not even touched for months, when this money could've literally gotten me one more meal. By the way I got a receipt for my initial purchase of $1.75, but never got any receipts or communications about the 4 times they charged me $34.75. I have filled in a form and sent it in regarding this problem and honestly, if this doesn't get escalated, I'm going to file a complaint to consumer protection as I don't want anyone else to be in this situation, especially students like me. I believe any business should WANT to be clear in their pricing and subscription, especially after getting so many complaints about it :/

Total Rip Off !!

Very expensive considering how many glitches it has. I have two, only two resumes and they still keep loosing one. Whenever I log in, I’m down to one. Yes, it was properly saved. Then, it keeps kicking off one of my jobs. And you can’t just insert it or change the chronology after you’ve done your resume. God forbid you try to cancel your membership. You will have to go around and around to get them to stop charging you. Looking for employment is hard enough, you don’t need these morons making it worse.
Run from these clowns. Serious.

Why are you taking money out of my account that did not authorize.
After reading other reviews I found that I was automatically put on a monthly subscription that I didn’t see any email about. It is quite easy to unsubscribe.

I signed up for a $2 free trial in June…

I signed up for a $2 free trial in June 2024. Just realized today that I was b3ing charged $34 every month since then. I feel sick to my stomach that I didn't noticed. They're sneaky because they don't send you a monthly invoice hoping you won't notice. We'll it worked. I spend $417 on a service i didn't even use during the trial. My problem is being escalated to customer service now so if they help me I'll remove this review.

*update* they refunded me 6 of my 12 months so I raised by rating to 3/5 instead of 1/5.
