At first i was abit held back buying from them as a lot of their reviews were not the best but honestly I’d buy from the again the shipping was fast and I received the correct order and size! I’m very pleased.

Bought a pair of Asics and three months later the fabric started to tear alongside the logo. They were only used for walking in so it would seem they were faulty.

I raised it with Platypus and although they were polite about it all I was told that "...it's a common feature of wear and tear..." That absolutely isn't true. If the shoes were used for running daily, yes I would accept that, but as illustrated by the photos I sent at their request, the shoes were in next to new condition.

Pretty disappointing and has resulted in me never wanting to shop with Platypus again, and I'll be telling everyone I know to avoid them as well.

Excellent online shopping experience. (NZ) Encountered an issue at check out and the live chat operator was quick in fixing it. Items booked and shipped efficiently. Communication through out.

2 orders. 2 screw ups. poor process for returns and refunds ..... and when they send you the wrong (mismatched sizes!) .... you have to return in and re-order the right sizes again!

Learn a lessson or two from logistics and customer service from Amazon.com.

the only feedback from customer service chat : "I'm so sorry to hear that Chris, we always hope to do much better for our customers." .... thats an awesome piece of vague-cut-and-paste-with-no-accountability apology.

Awesome service. Was acknowledged as soon as I walked in and was out within a few minutes with everything I needed. Thank you 3064 for the great service. Great stock. Sketchers store however, staff wouldn’t acknowledge or offer assistance. I walked up to the counter and was ignored.

I processed an order with multiple items that I needed as Christmas gifts. I have now received two emails to say that 2 items out of an order of 4 are not in stock. It is ridiculous that your stock management system is so poor that people are expecting items that are not in stock in the first place. Won't be using Platypus again.

(Platypus NZ) How does the Onehunga store sell a pair of Adidas Ultraboost DNA core/blue grey for $99 (9 1/2) but the same pair at Westgate pop up store is $169 which was a (10 1/2 ) and when I tell the sales assistants,I get the impression they think I am making this all up and not one store from Albany,St Lukes, Queen St,Onehunga or Newmarket pick up the phone after several attempts of contacting to get some clarity at the time of writing this on 29 November 2020, at 15:21pm.Customer service and accountability in non-existent but taking your $’s and not willing to provide you anything other than “I can assure you, that you probably were looking at the wrong shoe” is alive and well............

Platypus advised that we would need to purchase a pair of Impala Rollerskates online as they did not have stock in Brisbane, they advised regarding skate size, and assured me that the skates could easily be exchanged or refunded in store if they did not fit.The skates arrived, were too small, and were taken to Platypus's Garden City store where I was told that they could not be exchanged because I used Paypal. I followed their online returns process, which I discovered requires that I pay return postage for the skates. This is unsatisfactory as I've already paid freight on shoes that don't fit based on their salesperson's advice. Platypus have wasted my time and money. There's a Paypal dispute in place, a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading will be filed, I will never buy from them again and strongly advise against buying any products from them online especially using Paypal, which is designed to offer consumer protection.
