Richard, Monarch’s engineer, provided excellent service. He spent a bit more time as he thought it best to fit a stand for our scale out canister. We inherited the company when we moved into our apartment 4+ years ago and have been happy to use them since then.

We had a Monarch system before, so know the product and what the benefits were. It was replaced with an upgraded version which is delivering the water quality as expected. The installer, Richard, was efficient, quick and very tidy. He was able to replace the unit with no impact on the rest of the family whilst still using water as normal. All in all, very happy with the unit and installation.

Richard, the engineer Monarch sent me to service my water softener provided me with a first class service. He gave me clear answers to many questions I had for the unit. One of these was the lack of pressure in my bathroom built up over the last 6 months. Apparently this was caused by the resin inside the softener unit having disintegrated (after 10 years' use) preventing the system to work efficiently. Neither my plumber or myself ever connected the pressure issue with the softener. However once the unit was replaced the pressure in the bathroom started working 100%. Throughout the visit Richard was courteous and professional so gave me confidence that he was providing excellent value and he is a credit to the company.

I encountered an issue with my water softener, but as it remains under warranty, I scheduled a service appointment and paid the required fee. The engineer, Richard Lawrence, addressed the matter effectively; he was professional and courteous, providing helpful guidance on the system’s performance and ongoing maintenance. First service on water softener carried out by Richard, was on time and carried out excellent service. Had to adjust water level and left area clean and tidy.

Good customer relations, wonderful Chap called Chris who did the installation, went the extra mile to do a good job. Seems a much better product than the one it replaced. App connectivity brings water softening into the 21st century. I recommend paying the extra cost to have the company deal with the disposal of the replaced unit as it is very heavy for the elderly to take to the recycling unit

We had Dave W attend our softener and he advised on needing to be replaced due to age and obsolete parts amongst the broken bits. So, he fitted the latest model, which has been amazing. He was polite, knowledged and tidy. New machine installed and very happy .

Monarch made my first enquiry about booking my first annual service appointment for my water softner so easy. A booking date was agreed. I was told the engine (Dave W) would contact me the day before to give me a time that he planned to be with me. He did and and also said he would message half an hour out from the scheduled time. He arrived exactly when he said. He carried out the service which we then discussed and answered my questions. Dave was very knowledgeable about the product. I would certainly recommend Monarch for their product and service. Thank you Team Monarch.

We had our previous Monarch water softener for over 20 years and it has always performed well, with one callout / service visit due to a over filling problem. I called Monarch and spoke with Debbie and an engineer about the machine as I felt it was letting more hard water through than it used to. They said that it was at the end of its life. I ordered a replacement and it was booked in. The engineer let me know when he was arriving, the installation went well and we are very happy with the machine.

We've had our water softener for 12 years and it's still going strong with never a days problem. It's serviced once a year and apart from filling it, we don't have to think about it. It protects our central heating system, which is also problem free, and makes showering a joy. It's costly, but worth every pound.

I have had a Monarch Water Softener for about 13 years. It was coming to the end of its life and I needed a new one. The service from the Monarch team - from Head Office staff, to sales, to engineers - couldn't have been better. An initial visit confirmed that I did indeed need a new water softener and the engineer who called guided me through the options. He then returned to fit it. The whole service was excellent. Special mention for Mick for his efficient, knowledgeable, polite service.

I would have given them a higher rating than this, but the stand and support bracket didn't fit well, and it was discovered by the installer that during manufacture, a large cutout had not been provided for the necessary air bleed screw, used whenever the filter needs to be changed. As a result, unnecessary elbows and reinforced hoses had to be employed to make bleeding possible, given a fair wind. New good should be of merchantable quality. This appears not to be. I hope they make a refund, OR fix the problem more elegantly, so our water pressure isn''t affected. This restriction has affected our pressure.

Our previous Monarch Water Softener lasted 28 years so when we moved to a brand new home we knew which manufacturer to go to.
We bought a Monarch Midi and I have to say it is excellent and very much better than our old one. It hardly uses any salt and I’ve never heard it regenerate. I understand it happens in the dead of night.
The packaging it came in was most impressive so I’m expecting many years of service from our new softener, and should we move again in the meantime we will have no hesitation in buying another. If we don’t take this one with us!

Helpful service starting with Debra in the office, finishing with Ian who fitted the new softener very efficiently with helpful explanation, and then back to Debra for a service plan. Mine had broken down after 13 years so time for a new one and the models had moved on so I needed some advice before deciding which model to buy. Positive experience all round - thank you.

I had my first water softener from Monarch for 16 years. It was faultless. I have had its replacement for three and a half weeks and I am concerned that it is not working at all, as it has used no salt and does not react to pressing the regenerator. Sensibly the company has now agreed to send me a kit to test the softness of our water. I hope my current softener will work soon.

In a world where in so many cases you get the run around with companies customer services KAY at monarch water is an absolute breath of fresh air ,calm,helpful and reassuring all come to mind her advice saved me money thank you kay . Not sure I got the date right but not important.

The engineer identified the fault very quickly and replaced the motor responsible for the fault. Cleaned up was very polite and helpful.
