Had their composite door installed in my new build house. Unfortunately the door is a complete failure after only 2.5 years. The edging strips have delaminated, which means the door is unusable. At a cost of £600 plus, I would expect it to last a lot longer than just 2.5 years. After contact with their customer service, the advise was that the guarantee is only for 2 years and 3 months and in any case if it was in guarantee they suggested that the door was stored wrongly before installation. How would they know this? And how is an external door supposed to be stored? And what if it wasn't stored? What if it was installed straight from delivery? In any case, apart from my door being out of warranty, the guarantee is worth absolutely nothing based on the excuses they provided. For what it's worth.... judging by other people's experience and poor ratings, my advice is to go with a different supplier/manufacturer. It's a fairly expensive purchase that you would expect to last more than just a couple of years.

I was very happy with customer services who were really polite and helpful.

My IG door needed a new multi point mortise lock as the old one failed and we could not secure the door. Ceri-Ann in the customer service department went above and beyond to sort this out. She checked that we had ordered the correct like for like replacement and spent time to go down to the delivery department to ensure that delivery was next day for us. She then emailed us to let us know an eta for delivery and then emailed to check that we got everything ok and that the door was sorted. Excellent customer service, we need a new garage door shortly and will be in touch with IG again to buy from them due to their excellent service.

Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Always happy to assist and help in an emergency situation.

Great help from Jodie and her colleagues in customer services: After the lock in my front door failed and outside of its warranty period, Jodie was able to look up what my door and lock were and provide me at cost price a replacement lock by return and the name of a locksmith that I could contact. This help was really appreciated at a time when I have a number of other challenges in life.

The thing that makes IG doors so easy to work with is not only the doors but the additional service they can provide . If I have an issue with any door I have ordered they will quickly and without fuss help me get any problems sorted out. They will help me through the ordering process and help explain to me all the specifications of the products they offer.

The door was fitted to our David Wilson new build home. Just under 3 years old and has been a constant source of issue. On countless occasions the door has refused to open from either in or outside of the door. Serious fire risk should the door not open in the event of a fire. Lock barrel changed twice but the issue continued. Whole lock mechanism changed along with barrel but again the issue of opening door continues. Obviously some type of design fault or poor quality materials used in construction. I do hope we never have to leave the house through this door in an emergency.

The difficulty was identifying the type of front door and then finding suitable spare parts to replace the glazing cassettes. Since the manufacture of my door, there have been two modifications to the cassettes. The original is obsolete, and current cassettes do not fit. The solution is to use the immediate cassette design. Unfortunately, the wrong cassette was delivered, and this had to be replaced with the correct versions.
I give 5 stars because the problems were resolved efficiently by IG Doors. They are pleasant people to trade with.

From time to time, in life, things don't go as expected. For myself and my client, it was what appeared to be a faulty door.
After the initial contact made with IG Doors, they were able to take full control of the issue, contact my client, arrange a site visit, determine the issue and fix it.
Regardless of where the blame was, there was no malice, no drama, just fixed and done.
To make things even better, IG Doors then arranged with the homeowner to attend site and make the final rectifications on the supplied door.
Not only am I over the moon, my client also is and in turn the homeowner.
No one likes problems in life, but they do come along and you learn very quickly which customer service teams are the best. IG Doors excelled in all departments.
I order a lot of doors, from a lot of companies, IG Doors was chosen by my clients architect. Until this point I'd never ordered a door from IG, but I'm glad I did, as they absolutely smashed it with the service and aftercare, couldn't fault them at all.

Looking forward to working with IG Doors in the future should the need arise, but until then, keep doing what you are doing as you do it very, very well.

Had an issue with my front door, IG Doors engineer Roger attended and replaced my slab for me, the service from start to finish was fantastic from everyone I spoke to in customer service to Ruth who booked the appointment for me. My new door looks and works fantastic.

Absolute rubbish door. Fobbed off being told the guarantee had run out when passing a comment directly about one of the external cassettes that had developed had cracks in it. Wouldn't come out and replace it but sent another out by post and told to get a local handyman to fit it. Since receiving it the other one has also started cracking. TO ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF HAVING A NEW DOOR ASK THE COMPANY WHO THEY ARE BUYING FROM AND STEER CLEAR IF THEY SAY ITS AN IG DOOR,because believe me when I say mine is rubbish I mean it and would NEVER entertain buying from them or recommending to others. IG Lintels are great but the doors leave a lot to be desired.

SINCE WRITING THE ABOVE REVIEW the other cassette on the outside of my door has started Splitting and showing white marks where they have cracked August 24,and we really haven't had overly warm weather. Having worked for a company that used to do work for IG !Intels at the factory and having known Tom Burge Shame he wasn't around to speak with,as the metal faced doors that were being made at the time were superior to the rubbish upvc door I have.

Terrible experience. My IG Door was standard with my Taylor Wimpey new build. I first raised the issue the day after legal completion with Taylor Wimpey. Taylor Wimpey have constantly refuted that the door was not installed correctly and is not weatherproof.

The report from IG doors this week, 2 years and 5 months after first reporting it to Taylor Wimpey, says that i am correct. The door was not installed correctly and it does leak.

My review of IG doors customer service is that they refused to make reasonable adjustments for a disabled person to be able to access their customer care. Despite my written requests for reasonable adjustments.

This experience has badly affected my health.

Move into a persimmon new building I have had two back doors in about 3 years only to find that my second door now has water ingestion so phoned to sort it out only to be told that it only has two years warranty from the date of the first fitting I feel this is a poor show
