Avoid IGdoors
Avoid IGdoors, my new build front door has bowed at the bottom by 8mm across the width. I contacted IGdoors gave them all the information and they didn’t reply so I rang them again. They replied by email to say sorry your door is 2 years and 3 months old so is out of warranty. They offered no help and said that is their policy. When you look on Trust pilot there is dozens of unhappy customers and the reply to the posts are all the same. Give this company a wide berth.

Fab Door
First of all I love my new door , secondly there is now no draft coming from underneath, perfectly fitted. The guys that came to fit the door were great and tidied up after themselves. So 10 out of 10 very pleased 😀

Very poor quality doors
Very poor quality doors. Would not recommend at all. Just over two years old and bottom has split and now needs a replacement door. Would expect a front door to last much longer than that!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!

First class customer sevice
Understanding my problem with a new build house owned on a shared ownership contract.

Poor quality and VERY short warranty
Poor quality door which after only 3 years in my new build, has absorbed water and split at the bottom making it hard to close the door.
It turns out IG only provide a warranty period of 2 years and 3 months which is apparently in line with the lifespan of a front door?!?
I wouldn’t look at using them if I were you! Use a company who provide a more reasonable warranty period and better quality product !

Good quality door, only issue experienced is slight discolouration of white styrens which was swiftly remedied by IG doors after sales team :)

A doorset that has stood the test of time.
I thought i would stop by and leave a review while i look to purchase a rear door for my property. I have an IG Front Doorset on my home already which has been in place 8 years replacing the previous owners ghastly PVCu option. I have had absolutely no issues with my door during this time even though the door is weather facing in the harshest of conditions, it is absolutely solid even after years of slamming by my children. Looking forward to finally getting my rear door to match and have more trouble free years.

Extremely Poor Quality
So my door had a failed lock and has since been identified as having a bow and is hard to close. There is also a split travelling from the bottom of the door and it’s getting worse. Despite correspondence with IG and Redrow about some of these issues (even leading to a failed lock needing complete replacement) they argue that it’s now past the 2 years and 3 month warranty period. They’re just passing the buck and not taking ownership over the problems and even had the cheek to offer me a quote for a new door. Their doors clearly don’t last long hence the short warranty period. They promised to refer my complaint to management but no surprise that I’ve absolutely nothing since. Arrange an independent assessment of the door, take ownership and accountability for the issues reported within the warranty which clearly led to the split in the door as well. Manage your quality control and stop hiding behind a short warranty on new builds because you would not sell these doors to people requiring quality products.

A very poor poor quality product
A very poor poor quality product. The door has failed, it has split and become warped. Apparently it is ok for a door to have a shelf life of just over 2 years. Will not be accepting products from this company in future.

I bought a new build installed with IG…
I bought a new build installed with IG doors you only get a 2 year warranty, low and behold after 2 years the door cassette has failed and water has filled the door bulging all the bottom and popping the seals. I don't know any companies with only a 2 year warranty on there frames, luckily the reat of my house windows and doors are covered for 5 to 10 years.

Poor quality
Over the last 10 to 15 years we, as a double glazing company have used IG Doors & Truedor with endless problems with, locking mechanisms, colour fading, leaking cassettes and doors delaminating. The aftersales used be quite good until you go over the 2 year bracket where nothing seems to be covered. I'd stay well away from their products. We'll be taking our latest complaint to the ombudsman as their doors are costing our company a fortune in replacements.

Composite door has bowed and leaks through under the glass
We have a new build house with a composite back door supplied by IG Doors. They supplied the door with a two year warranty. Within 3 years it bowed at the top and the frame around the window is dropping off and water leaks through under the glass. It is very poor quality. Customer ' care ' stated that it is out of warranty and to use some sealant. Our neighbour has had the same issue with the bowing of the door.

High chance of failure, IG "support" is lip service
David Wilson home who are a premier housebuilder however I am sure they don't appreciate the image the IG Doors are giving them. Several times I had the DWH fitters out to get the door fitting right and staying put and then after 3 years the locking mechanism failed. The worst part was contacting IG who couldn't give a toss because they only offer 2 years warranty, such is the faith in their product. They were polite but have obviously heard it all before and were only interested in saying "no" from the outset and blaming DWH for doing it wrong. They were happy to quote the £80+£20 delivery for a replacement locking mechanism though. Thankfully we got it working again with some work on the door but I felt compelled to warn others about this low quality products, and it looks like I'm far from alone. Avoid these cowboys.
