Always having trouble.
Whenever a company gets my report from them, I am having trouble. I cannot reach any customer service. Even though everthing is okay with other credit companies, I always have trouble to improve my score in Equifax. They cause me too much stress.

The Score has been designed to reflect how lenders are likely to assess your creditworthiness when making lending decisions, so it changes in line with how lenders are likely to view you at the current time. Equifax do not make lending decisions, so it's important our score is reflective of those who do make such decisions. The features of the Score are designed to provide greater clarity around how the information in the credit report can impact your credit score.

Absolutely useless company
Absolutely useless company. Raised a complain as to why my score is low, with no missed payments, no ccj’s, on the electoral register etc etc and they basically turn around and say it’s ‘generated my a computer system’ therefore we can’t help you and refer me to the ombudsman to offset dealing with my complaint. Not only that they responded in a way which makes it look like they didn’t even read my complaint properly, their response had no substantance to it. Just autogenerated bullshit. Unprofessional company, it’s scary that a company so shit is in charge of something as important as scoring everyone’s credit score. Abysmal.

Easy to register and be given credit score just took me a bit of searching to find the information on the loan companies I had been with. But I was pleased with the information i had found.

Easy to access report - awkward to challenge entries
It's easy to register, and to gain access to your credit report. However, I had a dispute over a credit entry that had expired the 6 year limit, to be reported on my profile. It took me submitting two cases to request a review (neither was fully investigated properly), and as such a subsequent complaint was raised to get it removed.

Falsified information
Equifax is holding false information about me. False association incl. name, false monetary information affecting my credit rating... In short: Equifax is acting in most dispicable, fradulent and defamatory manner. I'm about to ask for interim injunction since they do nothing to remedy this situation.

Not fit for purpose
Impossible to navigate or find the correct sections to add information. Postcode finder weak, offers spelling errors on info it already holds on you, you cannot add further information yet has the power to prevent us getting a modest loan. We have great Accounts, UK Citizens from birth and now this AML regulation is JUDGING US.... and stopping us buying a small property. The process will not prevent the real criminals, just bring the housing market to a halt. Guess what, it already has.
