Equifax have always been accurate…
Equifax have always been super accurate for me, but British Gas single handedly demolished my credit score, for a debt that I was neither billed for or informed of. I changed to Octopus Energy 2 years ago. the debt is now paid without issue and Equifax quickly revised my credit rating. Many thanks

Not great
After an information leak from an organisation that had my details, the organisation offered for people who's info had been leaked to get access to equifax to determine if there was any details of what might have been doen with the leaked information.
Firstly, I was unable to register using my documents. eventually i had to phone in and Equifax had different information for me, so they kept rejecting my application. I'm not sure where this information was obtained from. Secondly, once I eventually managed to register the information in the profile is limited. Basically gives something like a credit score but no additional information. Reports can be generated but must be paid for. I'm not sure what additional information was obtained through this membership than would not be obtained from a free experion membership.
It's not one star because when I phoned in I spoke to a person (not an AI bot) and the person was able to help me.

My issue was not resolved
My issue was not resolved. Received an email reeading"The information is correct and should remain unchanged. The information on your credit report belongs to the data provider, and they cannot change it without their authorisation.
If you need more information, please contact the company directly."
I have contacted the company directly several times for over a year now, to no avail. The account is still open, even though I requested the closure of it. It is very much visible on my credit report. I don't know what else I can do.
