Still waiting on my last package so I can't give a full in depth detail about my recent experience. Before 2014, I used to order from Drjays quite a bit. Usually I only purchased shoes but this time I decided to take advantage of their outlet/sale category while I was able to. Since my order is split up into 2 different packages, I received the first one last week. While I was extremely satisfied with the maxi dress and flare pants I ordered, I wasn't entirely satisfied with the shirts. Like someone previously said, if you think of buying a large, go for XL instead. One of the shirts had lose strings hanging from where it wasn't sown properly, another shirt was literally shedding. I adored the sunglasses. My biggest complaint, is the shipping. I paid $39.95 extra to have my packages shipped 2-3 days priority with USPS. My order was placed on November 21nd, it wasn't shipped out until November 23rd. Received the first package November 27th. My tracking status stated I was suppose to receive my last package today (November 30th) and USPS website says it's, "In Transit" still. I've contacted USPS and I'm waiting for a reply as to where my package is and why it wasn't delivered on the date it was suppose to be. I know that Thanksgiving was on Thursday, and Covid has messed up literally everything, but paying extra for faster shipping shows to be a waste when you still don't get your packages until a week or 2 later.

Purchased apparel using a secure, encrypted credit card, and DrJays said they routinely would just want to verify all initial purchases.

So, DrJays called my bank to verify my card number. Since the card was encrypted, I had to provide either my account number or social security number to prove that I made the purchase, with DrJays on the phone. I provided the last 4 of my account number, and the last 4 of my social security number.

After all of that verification, DrJays refused to honor their own verification process, and refused to process the order, because DrJays wanted to know my actual statement account number... which is clearly none of their business. My secure card payment, followed by verifying my identity and my home address, was more than enough information to know that the transaction was authorized by me.

But, DrJays wanted to be nosy and pretend like they needed to verify based on my statement account number, the number behind the encrypted card number, which is obviously immaterial to DrJays receiving my payment, which they had already received.

Their Customer Service Supervisor, Larry, stated that he was worried that he wouldn't be able to recoup monies in the event of a chargeback. I called my bank back to verify that this was not accurate. Secure online transactions have nothing whatsoever to do with chargebacks. But since Larry is trying to place a square peg in a round hole, and verify account numbers over the telephone with banks like it's 1999, I got turned away, and DrJays lost out on hundreds of dollars, not to mention repeat business.

Also, on at least two occasions, DrJays' representatives hung up on me: Suzie, and Larry. The second time was notable, because Larry refused to give me the name and address of DrJays management; in whom, I'm quite sure would want to know that their peon gatekeepers are costing them good money playing the Gestapo, trying to find superfluous reasons not to do business with eminently viable customers.

Avoid like the plague, due to the fact that DrJays is highly unprofessional; and unless you'd like to become a statistic in the next data breach.

Soooo here's what happened. I placed my order but I never got a shipping confirmation. I got an order confirmation but never a shipment confirmation.

Then I come here and see all these reviews and I start sweating. Because no way is this about to happen to me.

About 4 or 5 days go by, my doorbell rings lo and behold it's my order. Which is weird because the "my account" page doesn't even have record of this order.

So although my experience was rather weird it was satisfying. I'm a happy customer.

I wouldn't do it again. They might be going out of business. I'm not sure though. I would definitely shop at "your own risk" but that's just based on the reviews posted here not on my personal experience. Sounds like it's a hit or miss. Either way hope this helps.

This is the worst website that I come across. Really Really bad shopping experience. I paid double shipping charge, once while ordering and then while returning

Don’t order from this website they steal your money. I was taking a look on some of the reviews and I can literally see they steal your money for sure. The same happed to me they said my package got delivered last Saturday around noon just when I was outside washing my car and I didn’t got package 📦 so I know for a fact they are lying cuz I never receive anything. I contacted them the same day I was to receive the package and they told me they will review with the post office and that i has to go through a 7 days missing package claim.
I waited for 9 days and they told me that the post office confirmed that they left the package outside my front door but there’s no proof cuz there word don’t count they don’t even have pictures.
So anyways they said they can’t give me my money back and I’m so super mad cuz I know I’m not the only one they have robbed.

Do someone here know if I can at least get that money back through my bank?

Looking at these review's the same thing happened to me I believe it's a scam an they need to be reported this is happening to close together to too many that buying from this company t going broke an taking advantage of people ordering from site they don't even have the things you order they put other things that you didn't order in your bag an claim they shipping people switching it the items they trying to bs the bullshiter but I'm report your ass

I spent over $500.00 on my children school clothes and I was yet to receive anything, now I am lost without my money and items but when my lawyer is done with this company they are going to wish they would have helped me also the agent Sheryl was no help at all and was very unprofessional I don't recommend this company to anyone

I purchased $80 worth of merchandise from dr.jays and unfortunately my package got stolen. Due to COVID their customer service number is useless and they only responding to emails and messages on social media. If your package was lost or stolen they won’t grant store credit or any form of reimbursement. Either dr.jays or your local post office will not take any accountability.

Honestly they are no help at all. they are so pricey. Their tie dye bandeau is 25.00 plus tax PLUS shipping. Their policies are so ridiculously. It takes 2 week process for an actual refund they Do not provide return labels. Shipping fees are not refundable. They make sure they tell you your responsible for your own shipping fee.. they tell you to pick what ever shipper And recommend for you to pay for insurance cause they are not responsible for lost items lmaoo they kind of harsh, no type of customer courtesy. No type of help. And because of covid I get a shifty rep on a chat. Money money money. Im unsubscribing dr.jays. they are wack. And how u sell a tie dye shirt and not the pants included or not selling the pants at all. Material is great but not worth the hassle. Oh and even if I was to return for a smaller size which the shirt was big.... i would have to pay to return the shirt and pay again to get it shipped back. Suxking my wallet for a dumb ugly shirt.

The items fit were 2 sizes under the size on the tag so it was obiously some crap from china. They also refuse to pay for the postage for returns so im now paying 12 dollars to return a 40 dollar order

I have no clue how this store/website is still open and getting business. Worse order of my life. None of the shirts fit. If you want a Large be sure to order a XL or XXL. I had to pay almost $20 to return the stuff then only get back store credit. The material of the clothes is the cheapest stuff they can produce. It's like buying clothes from one of those Chinese shop. Definitely don't buy the expensive stuff. It's that cheap material. If you like good quality material and real stuff don't order here. Now I have to find something to buy with this store credit and it's almost impossible.

Drjays sell me a scrap t-shirt and a old and used hoodie... worst customer service

Having read all the bad reviews and opinions on this company I decided to ignore everything and place an order. I am in the UK and I received my order quickly and in full, whoever is writing reviews claiming you need to live in the USA, or withing distance of a store, to guarantee delivery is a fool.Any time you order from the net you are trusting someone, mistakes do happen, it doesn't mean you have the right to crucify a company over a mistake.
The clothing I ordered was packaged well,the quality of the tshirts were very good, the sean john jacket was an absolute bargain, sunglasses were very stylish for the price. The akademics jacket was not of the quality that akademics were known for, that's the problem of the akademics brand - not Dr Jay's. The postage and shipping was really quite high which unfortunately didn't make this purchase as cost effective as it is with other American outlets via ebay.
All in all I found the site well laid out, prices very very competitive, great selection of styles and designs, great updates on orders and delivery. Just slightly overpriced postage and shipping. I shall most definitely be using this site and ordering frequently.

After seeing some bad reviews I sat on my basket for a week...
Finally bit the bullet, placed my order in haste after being hit by a cold snap & realised one item had dropped out of the basket.
Sent an email querying the taxes and duty claimed then realised the missing top & live chat was open.
Chatted to a lovely consultant who went above & beyond to help me by adding items and checking things for me.
They must have replaced their moody, grumpy customer service rep which many have complained about because I'm absolutely thrilled with the service received.
Can't wait for our goodies to arrive. Fingers crossed given the current climate it doesn't take too long :)

I ordered something from their website and I paid for fast delivery but it arrived two days late, I emailed them the day it was supposed to arrive and they responded to my emails and their support team is nice. They also have mad hoodies.

I was really skeptical because of the reviews but I purchased my order Wednesday evening and it was shipped to me by Saturday! Also I live in NC. My shirt came in perfect condition and the right size. I think it’s worth a try.

I received an empty package. When I try to get in contact with customer service I don't get a response at all. I am now trying to get my money back through my bank.

I basically order all my clothes from here.. Never had a problem.

I've been shopping at DRJays.com since 2011. For the most part, I am satisfied. I like that they have such a big selection of items. The problem I have with them is their return policy. You have to pay the shipping to return an item. This is going to cost a minimum of $10. So if you order something, and it doesn't fit right (usually in my case, too small), you will be out about $20. You already had to pay about $8-10 to have your items shipped to you, then you have to turn around and pay at least $10 to return it. It's almost a gamble every time you order something. I usually try to stick with the clothing brands that I know fit me good. They should have free return shipping like a lot of other companies.

Just got 2 new hoodies and sweatpants today and LOVED them. 55 dollars for all 3. The hoodies are perfect and would cost 60 (a minimum) anywhere else. This site is worth your time to check out. You wont be sorry.
