First class service
The advisor was attentive, helpful, and not pushy. He clarified the details simply and ensured I knew what was needed. I found dealing with this company far less stressful than with other companies who claim to do the same work. I got a discounted price as well, which was nice.

When a plan is cancelled, a refund can take a short while to clear through the banking system. During that period the original payment can still show as taken on your statement, which is understandably confusing and I'm sorry for the worry it caused.
I can confirm the refund has now been processed and should have found its way back to you. If it isn't yet showing on your account, please do give us a call and we'll chase it up straight away.

Engineer rang to say he was 5/10 mins away,just came to check the boiler as I had just taken out a new contract, wasn't there very long,10 mins approx, said everything was ok,everything seemed ok.

Customer service levels unacceptable
Engineer arrived at my property early in the morning and text to tell me of his imminent arrival.
On the flip side I unfortunately had to complain about the lack of communication regarding date of service. The engineer was sadly delayed on holiday meaning he was unable to complete the service to prior arrangements. This is quite acceptable and could happen to anyone. What is not acceptable is when I called on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I was given the same excuse that the engineer had not contacted the office. I was not afforded a call back with an update as promised, I was not offered an alternative engineer. All in all, the office fell short of anything near an acceptable level of service. This really needs to be improved

The rest, I'm afraid, is on us. You're quite right that a delay can happen to anyone; what isn't acceptable is being told the same thing three days running and being promised a callback that never came.
That falls well short of the service we should be providing, and I'm sorry you were left chasing us.
